Broken family
This prompt takes place 4 years later Leo in now 5 years old and in school. In his class they are talking about Family and this make Leo very sad and upset.
“Bye bud I’ll see you later okay,” Owen said hugging the small child in front of him.
Leo gave him a small smile and walked in the classroom. Once in the classroom Leo immediately ďżźput his things away and took his seat.
“Well good morning class,” Leo’s Teacher Mrs. Gilbert says. Leo and the rest of his classmates say good morning back.
“Alright class today we’re going to talk about our families,” Mrs. Gilbert said.
Leo looked around the classroom to see all the kids smiling because they get to talk about their families. While Leo in the other hand isn’t so excited about this subject so he decides to lay his head down on the desk. He loves his mom and dad butHe really didn’t want to talk about his family.
“Alright kids we’re going to going in order so Sarah you’ll go first,” Mrs. Gilbert said calmly.
A couple of kids went and Leo just sat back and listened to how perfect and happy their families sounded and he wished for that. He couldn’t remember the time he had a perfect happy family like theirs. After a while it was finally Leo’s turn to talk about his family.
“Okay Leo it your turn,” The teacher said.
“Well my family isn’t perfect or happy like you guys. I live with my dad for the most part I have two little siblings a sister and a brother. My sister stays with her mom I see her every other week and my brother stays with our mom and his dad I see them every once in a while. My mom is happy I guess I don’t know about my dad. But when I was a baby we used to have a perfect happy family but that didn’t really last very long and my parents broke up. I wish it could be like that again,”Leo said with tears in his eyes that he was trying to hold back the best he could.
Leo quietly walked back to his seat and put his head. He let the tears roll out of his eyes but didn’t make any noise so no one would know he was crying. Through out the day Leo kept to himself now it was time to go. All of the other kids parents came earlier than Leo’s which is normal he is so used to it now. So Leo was just sitting at his desk drawing in his notebook with Amelia walked in smiling.
Amelia walked up to Leo while he was still looking down at his notebook and tapped him on the shoulder and he looked up at her with a straight face. Amelia had a confused look on her face because she was expecting a different reaction from him he usual is so smiley but he wasn’t today. She knew something was up because Leo was always so happy to see her.
“Hey Lion I decided to surprise you and come get you from school today,” Amelia said rubbing her fingers through his soft curls and calling him by his nickname she had been calling him since he was a baby. Leo nodded his head and got up to get his things. Amelia was really surprised at how he was acting that’s when Leo’s teacher walked up to her.
“Leo had a not so good day today,” Mrs.Gilabert said.
“Why what happened?” Amelia said worried cause she never seen her little happy boy like this ever.
“Well today in class we talked about our families and this subject upsetted Leo. I think you and his father should have a talk about this,” Mrs. Gilbert said.
After Leo finished gathering his thing and putting them on he went to Amelia and stood by her. She gently grabbed his hand and left out of the school.
Once they got to the car Amelia buckled Leo into his car seat then got the car. During the drive Leo didn’t say anything Amelia look back at him in the rear view mirror and he was looking out the widow silently.
“Lion I heard you and your classmates talked about your families today and this upsetted you. Why did this you upset baby?” Amelia asked and Leo just looked at her and didn’t respond.
After a couple of minutes of driver they were at Mer’s house. Amelia unbuckled Leo from his seat belt and grabbed his bag and walked to the door to unlock it. As soon as she unlocked it Leo dashed into the house. Amelia let out a sigh and sat down the couch.
While Amelia was relaxing on the couch Maggie walked through the front door. Amelia quickly popped up and smiled at Maggie not a happy smile but a more disappointed one. Maggie took off her jacket and hung it up then went to go take a seat next to Amelia.
“What’s wrong I can see it all over your face,” Maggie said in a comforting voice.
“It’s Leo he had a bad day at school they were talking about their families today and this subject really upsetted him and he wouldn’t tell me why nor will he talk to me at all and I don’t know what to do,” Amelia sighed and rubbed her hand down her face.
“I don’t know what to say but how about I try talking to him? And you try talking to his father about this?” Maggie said and Amelia nodded her head.
“Where is he?” Maggie asked getting up.
“He’s upstairs probably with bailey,” Amelia said.
After an hour Maggie walked back downstairs and sat next to Amelia.
“I talked to him about what made him upset today but he doesn’t want me to tell you because he doesn’t want to hurt your or Owen’s feeelings,” Maggie said put her hand on Amelia’s shoulder.
“How about you go upstairs and try talking to him again,” Maggie said giving Amelia a comforting look.
Amelia nervousnessly got up from where she was sitting and walked upstairs to where Leo was. He was sitting in Amelia’s bed hugging his stuffed dog her and Owen had bought him when he was a baby. He had head behind the dog so she couldn’t see his face. She calmly walked over to the bed and took a seat next to him. She softly placed her hand on his back but he didn’t move at all. So Amelia picked him up and placed him in her lap like she always used to do. She softly ran her fingers through his curls and swayed back and forth slowly.
“Leo can we please talk about what upset you today in class? I would really like to know I promise me or your father won’t be upset.” Amelia said rubbing his back Leo slowly lifted his head and looked at Amelia but still didn’t say anything.
“You know I love you so much Lion please talk to me,” Amelia pled once again.
Leo finally decided to her what upsetted him today. Leo explained to her how all the kids in his school had these perfect happy families and he didn’t. He told her he felt sad that he barely get to see her anymore. He told everything about he felt about their family situation.Amelia frowned she didn’t know Leo felt like that and felt sad that he felt that way.
“Lion why haven’t you told this is how you felt? We never want you to feel like this. I promise mommy and your daddy will fix it,” Amelia said hugging him tight.
After a couple hours Amelia was laying in the bed with Leo asleep in her arms. She softly laid him under the covers and slowly slid out of the bed. Amelia slowly left out the room and closed the door quietly. She quickly grabbed her to call Owen. She called Owen after the third ring Owen picked up the phone.
“Hello Amelia I’m still at work I come get Leo as soon as I get off,” Owen spoke tiredly.
“No O I didn’t call about that I’m calling to tell you about Leo’s day at school,” Amelia said.
“What happened is he okay?,” Owen said panicking.
“He is okay now but he got really upset at school today when they were talking about their families. I think I should get Leo every other week like you get Alison because he feels like every since we have kids with other people we forgot about him and he didn’t even get to enjoy us long enough,” Amelia said sadly.
“I just want him to be happy. He never knew he felt like that I knew he missed you but I never thought about how everything changed so quickly would affect him in the long run.” Owen said.
Sorry guys I haven’t posted in a while here’s a story I been thinking about writing for a while because everything Krista has done. I don’t how long I’ll keep this up cause I want to rewrite it. And sorry for any spelling errors I did this quickly

This is how it should’ve happened not the way grey’s did it
One Last Chance
Hey everyone! It’s taken me a lot longer than I thought it would to get this story up and going. I’m not happy with this first chapter, but I figured I owed you all something because I feel like you’ve been waiting forever. I hope y’all like it! I’m trying to get back into my Omelia mojo.
.......................................................................................
I just told the biggest lie of my life. I wasn’t planning to do it. I wasn’t going to. This could affect my entire future; my son’s entire future. What in the world was I thinking? Or maybe I wasn’t... How far is this going to go? Did I just make the biggest mistake of my life?
***
The bright morning sun peeked through the shades and onto the pale face of the beautiful brunette laying in bed. A soft groan escaped her lips as she closed her eyes tighter against the bright rays of the sun, not wanting to be up at this hour. With the time change, the sunrise came a little later in the mornings, but Amelia still hated being up this early. Usually, she wouldn’t mind being up; most of the time she would be still be at work at this hour, or at least she would have been there for a few hours, but nowadays, her fatigue was getting the best of her. This pregnancy hadn’t been difficult at all so far and she thanked the heavens above for that, but every once in a while, she just needed to sit down and take a break.
The past week, though, had been particularly difficult for her. She had done something awful. Something that couldn’t be taken back or fixed with a simple ‘I’m sorry’. No, this was the worst of the worst. Amelia Shepherd had done something even the devil himself would deem cruel, and now she was going to have to deal with the consequences.
Amelia’s relationship with Link was almost what most people would call ‘picture perfect’ right now. He had shown up her door one rainy night with a guitar in hand and told her that he loved her, no matter who the father of her baby was. It was the kind of gesture that most women dreamed of and she stood there and witnessed it firsthand. It was all for her. When did she become this person? When did she become the kind of girl who was unbothered by all of the corny love declarations? Who was she becoming?
After Link’s whole speech, Amelia couldn’t help but feel bad for everything she had put him through. He was a good guy and he didn’t deserve to be put in the middle of it. Amelia hadn’t thought about what she was going to say; to be honest, she didn’t have the time to think about it because he was standing right there, and at the risk of looking like an idiot, she just vomited words. Amelia hadn’t planned to tell him that he was the father. To be honest, she hadn’t even looked at the results of the paternity test and had no idea why she told him that. Maybe she just needed some reassurance that someone was there for her and this was the only way to do it. Maybe she just needed someone to love her after everything she’d been through. Maybe she just wanted to be happy. She deserved that, didn’t she?
A small humorless chuckle escaped her lips as she slowly sat up in bed. “As if..” She whispered. She quickly ran her fingers through her hair, then rubbed her temples as a loud sigh escaped her lips. A loud bang made her almost jump out of her skin and she got out of bed quicker than she had in months to see what was going on. When she opened her bedroom door and glanced out into the hallway, she spotted the little noise maker just a few feet from her door. “Ellis..” Amelia whispered, not sure if anyone else in the house was awake or not. When the little girl looked up at her aunt, Amelia smiled and motioned for her to come to her.
“What are you doing up this early?” Amelia asked as Ellis walked up to her bedroom door. Zola and Bailey were usually the first ones up. They were both early risers, much like their mom, but Ellis loved her sleep. She’d sleep all day if she could.
“I had a bad dream..” Ellis whispered as she looked down at the floor. She was the shiest child Amelia knew. To be honest, Amelia wasn’t even sure she had ever heard her talk above a whisper.
Amelia smiled a little and kneeled down as best as she could to her level. “Do you want to talk about it?” She asked gently.
Ellis shook her head slightly, still looking at the floor. “Can I sleep with you?” She whispered.
A soft chuckle escaped Amelia’s lips as she looked down at her niece. “Well... I was just about to get in the shower and get ready to go to work...” She replied as she glanced around in the hallway. The house was unusually quiet for this early in the morning. “You know what? You go ahead and lay down on my bed while I check on everyone else, okay?” She said as she struggled to stand up.
Ellis looked up at her aunt with a confused look. “Mama’s not here.” She spoke softly. “Auntie Maggie took Zola and Bailey to school.”
Amelia’s brows furrowed for a second as she glanced down at Ellis. How did she not hear anyone? Was it later than she thought? Had she actually fallen asleep at some point that morning? With a resigned sigh, Amelia nodded and offered the little girl a small smile. “Okay. Come on, sweetheart. Let’s lay down for a bit, huh?”
***
“Amelia? What are you doing here?”
Amelia looked up at her sister and raised a brow. “Uh.. I live here.” She replied softly.
Maggie sighed and set her bag down in the floor as she walked into the living room. “I heard you were in labor...” She said, her voice full of concern.
“Oh.” Amelia chuckled softly and shook her head. “Braxton Hicks.” She said with a shrug. “I was certain it was the real deal, but... I guess I was wrong. I’m fine. I guess this little guy wants to stay in there for a few more weeks.”
Maggie sighed in relief as she sat down on the couch beside Amelia. “Thank goodness. I was so worried.” She said. “I looked all over for you, and when someone said you went home, I thought something was wrong...”
“No, Maggie, I’m fine. We’re fine. Really. I’m just trying to take it easy.”
“Good. You need to.”
Amelia smiled and rubbed her hand over her stomach. “I just want him to be as healthy as possible.” She said.
“I know. He is. He will be.” Maggie said softly. “Have you thought of a name for him yet?” She asked.
Amelia shook her head as she looked down at her growing belly. “No, not yet. It’s harder than I thought it would be.” She said. “I want his name to mean something. I just don’t know what.” She said with a small sigh. “I can’t name him after my dad. I already did that. And Derek already has a son named after him.”
“What about his dad?” Maggie asked.
Amelia took a deep breath and picked at an invisible string on her shirt. Her silence was deafening and Maggie quickly caught on.
“Amelia? Link is the father... right? Because he’s not exactly shy about telling people that he is..” She said softly.
Silence.
“Is the baby Owen’s?”
More silence.
“Amelia!” Maggie whispered urgently. “Did you tell Link he was the father and he’s not? Is this baby really Owen’s?”
“Yes... no... I-.. I don’t know, okay?” Amelia whispered back. She sighed out loud and ran her fingers through her hair. “I got the results of the paternity test last week, but... I haven’t been able to look at them.” She said. “I just told him that he was the father because he showed up here being all sweet and he offered to write me a song, Maggie. I.. I couldn’t break his heart again.”
“But what if he’s–”
“I know. What if he’s not the father? I’ve been thinking about this since I found Owen could be the father and I don’t know, Maggie. I don’t know what to do. I know I need to just... look at the results, but I can’t. Owen has a family now. He’s happy. He’s getting married, and if this baby’s his.. it’ll complicate things. Again. We’ve been through enough complications. He deserves to be happy.” Amelia sighed.
“But, if this baby is his, he has a right to know. Do you really want Link to raise Owen’s kid? Could you do that to them?” Maggie asked. She sighed and stayed quiet for a minute before she got an idea. “What if I look at them?” She asked.
Amelia looked over at her. “What?” She asked.
“I’ll look at the results for you.” She said softly. “Or I’ll look at them with you. I’ll be right here with you the whole time.”
Amelia sighed and looked back down at her hands. “Okay..” She rubbed her hands across her face and sighed once more before she looked over at her sister. “Okay.”
“Where are they? Do you need me to go get them?” Maggie asked.
Amelia shook her head and reached into the pocket of her shirt. She pulled out a folded up piece of paper and looked at Maggie once more before she unfolded it. “Hold my hand?” She asked softly.
Maggie grabbed the hand she held out for her and held it tightly in both of hers as she waited patiently. She knew Amelia was scared. Whatever that piece of paper said could change Amelia’s life forever. For good or bad, Maggie wasn’t quite sure.
Amelia sighed deeply, trying to calm her nerves as she closed her eyes for a second. She needed to relax, but she couldn’t. This was it. The moment of truth. She felt Maggie squeeze her hand gently and opened her eyes, finally making herself look down at that dreaded piece of paper.
Maggie looked down at their hands clasped tightly together when she felt Amelia squeeze her hand, then she looked up at her and met her eyes. She couldn’t tell what she saw in those eyes. Fear? Dread? Hope, maybe? Maggie wasn’t quite sure. She couldn’t read Amelia’s expression. She couldn’t push her, though. Maggie knew Amelia would talk when she was ready. Right now, all she could do was wait.
“Amelia?”
She was so deep in thought, Maggie’s voice startled her. Amelia squeezed her hand gently and laid the paper on her lap. “It’s, uh...” Amelia swallowed hard, her mouth feeling suddenly very dry. “The baby’s.. the baby’s Owen’s...” She whispered, her voice so low, Maggie had to lean in close to hear her. “What have I done?”
What have I done?

Going for The Goal
Hello! The other day while listening to one of my favorite playlists for writing and appreciating the beautiful weather outside; this spontaneous idea at complete random appeared in my mind and I knew that I needed to expand on it, instantly. Highly unlikely that this will have a second part primarily because I almost never finish second parts, which causes me to have several already started multi-fics in the making; but I would definitely be willing to write another part if it is requested. Here is “Going for The Goal,” please enjoy!
Long vibrant strands of fresh grass waved in a repetitive motion as a calming wind passed through the suburban area of lower Seattle, on the perfect and early spring day. Homes across the picturesque neighborhood remained quiet as various residents continued to sleep including the larger home hidden beneath a cluster of trees. Inside the man-made home was Owen and Amelia as they peacefully laid in one another’s arms while their three young children slept in different rooms opposite the master, towards the back of the home. The male trauma surgeon’s rounded muscular hand naturally rested on Amelia’s growing stomach causing him to feel every rise and fall of her chest through her abdomen along with small but noticeable movements from their already active baby girl.
Slowly the bright sun welcomed its presence throughout the shaded home into the windows indicating the dreadful morning hours. With her beautiful eyes remained shut, the pregnant neurosurgeon grasped onto Owen’s hand making her tired muscles relax. Amelia groaned after noticing the brightness.
“How are you feeling this morning?” Owen lethargically inquired of Amelia once he had noticed her carefully shift in his arms seconds before she exhaustively yawned.
“Besides growing another small human inside of me and vomiting all my guts out last night, which caused me to almost faint? Better. I think my stomach muscles are still aching from it and the baby growing doesn’t help.” Amelia confessed honestly to her husband who seemed worried but instead he nodded in agreement.
“Leo has his first soccer game today; are you sure that you will feel up to it. I’m sure Maggie will film the entire thing.” The male trauma surgeon observed from the situation of his wife rubbing her swollen abdomen wearily, he patiently awaited her response in attempts to make sure she was okay.
Finally Amelia opened her tired eyes and matched her bright blue irises with his darker blues before adjusting her delicate hands from her stomach to the middle of Owen’s broad chest muscles then smiled at him, seconds before offering her statement.
“I love you; Owen.” The brunette reassured her husband which allowed him to acknowledge and understand how she was feeling. Being her soulmate; Owen knew exactly what she was feeling; although she was in a state of discomfort, her motherly instinct would sacrifice any amount of pain to witness and experience the joy of her children. Once hearing what she had to say and silently taking a note of how he can make her day brighter; Owen kissed Amelia with passion before he turned his head after hearing three small children at the tall door.
“Hi Daddy! Hi Mama!” Their youngest son, Cortland announced as his two older brothers stood on either side of him. Once more the male trauma surgeon kissed the brunette before removing himself from the thick comforter and bent his knees to the children’s eye-level.
“Alright soldiers. One of you decided that it was a good idea to get the others up after he decided to wake up himself. Who that is; is a mystery but don’t think that for a second that will trick, Major. Hunt.” The father teased with each son as the brunette continued peacefully resting in the bed, to watch her boys joke with one another. The man scanned into each pair of bright blue eyes carefully while they attempted to maintain straight faces that their father taught them at an early age.
“Mr. Leo is a soccer star as of today, so it could be him. Or maybe it’s Mr. Thomas who has his mama’s eyes but yet it could be Mr. Cortland but he’s my favorite. So it can’t be him? Mama? Who do you think our contestant is?” Owen proposed to Amelia who couldn’t contain her smile or laughter at the antics or each boy with their arms crossed over their small chests.
“My bets are totally on my little man.”
“Leo; it is!” Owen proclaimed aloud seconds before he lifted his six year old into his arms followed by lifting the two others above him until he landed them safely on the giant bed out of his muscular arms, where Amelia sat with her soft hands onto her stomach to feel the early morning kicks herself.
Once all the family was relaxing on the bed; the male trauma surgeon held Cortland in his arms and covered everyone with the thick blanket. Unprepared for what her oldest son was about to do Amelia flitched slightly once seeing his small arm come towards her stomach but was surprised the moment Leo rested his small hands in the middle of his mother’s growing and sore pregnant belly.
“Is my baby sister okay, mama? Does she not feel good when you don’t feel good?” Hearing Leo’s question; Amelia’s eyes immediately filled with small tears along with curiosity how he knew that she was not feeling well but knew already that someday he will care as much as his father does for the women he loves.
“Baby sister is wonderful, my little lion.” The neurosurgeon tearfully vocalized to her adopted son and the first one who made her become a mother for more than forty three minutes, while she played with his naturally curled hair he inherited from Betty. Owen and Amelia shared glances with one another ahead of mouthing their three favorite words.
Hours had come and gone, and the morning became an even more perfect afternoon when there was only an hour until Leo’s soccer game. In the rather large kitchen was the brunette as she placed healthy and organic snacks until plastic containers for the game while Owen remained occupied in his oldest son’s room to help him get in his uniform.
“Let’s go show mama!” Owen cheerfully directed to Leo who he walked behind as they made their way out of his bedroom, towards the kitchen. From afar the male trauma surgeon coughed to signal the neurosurgeon, she glanced up and saw the bright blue jersey along with shorts.
“Leo! You look amazing, what do you think?!” Amelia declared to Leo as he began to cheer for himself and the reaction he had been wanting of his mother’s approval.
Once they had arrived at the giant sports field; the male trauma surgeon parked in the parking space and shut off the minivan’s engine, Leo impatiently unbuckled his seatbelt before either one of his parents could exit the vehicle but remained sitting until his brothers were unlatched. Owen lifted Cortland into his arms before retrieving the lunch bag filled with several snacks beside him while Amelia helped Thomas step down off of the van’s platform then clasped onto his small hand and Leo followed.
“Drake!” Leo shouted to his teammate and cousin upon seeing him from afar sitting with his parents who patiently waited for the game to begin, in their lounge chairs and sunglasses covering their eyes to block out the bright sunlight.
“Leo!” Drake exclaimed back to his cousin before asking his mother for permission to run in the other boy’s direction. His mother approved and returned to reading her thick book. Both five year olds grew close over their years because their mothers shared a never ending bond as sisters as well as being two of the most successful surgeons at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.
“I’m so happy to see you; sister. I didn’t think you were coming!” Maggie cheerfully told her sister as she hugged her tightly mere moments before adjusting her hands down to Amelia’s growing abdomen.
“Hello baby girl; this is your Auntie Maggie. Don’t ever forget that.” The female cardiothoracic surgeon directed to her niece still inside the uterus while Andrew DeLuca greeted his brother in law and colleague once he removed himself from the lounge chair. Both men set up the extra lawn chairs for the rest of the family beside Andrew and Maggie’s other kids.
Twenty five minutes into the game as the third quarter was just seconds away, one of Leo’s teammates dribbled the ball towards him and passed it to him from being instructed by their coach; adrenaline was high and cheers soared for the home team although it wasn’t labeled as a competition all the parents made sure to cheer for their child. Getting ready to kick the ball towards the net, a slightly taller boy from the away team pushed Leo onto the ground with force. Before the small boy hit the ground the brunette ran as fast as her six month pregnant body could allow followed by the male trauma surgeon to reach their son. Favoring his mother’s tough will; Leo refused to cry despite the tears that were in his eyes, Amelia started to tear up at the site of seeing her son injured and felt paralyzed at what to do until Owen’s steady and calming nature took over, and reassured the both of them before he lifted Leo into his arms to walk back to the minivan. As they walked back Maggie nodded her head in Amelia’s direction, signaling that her and Andrew were able to take care of their nephews.
Once arriving at the hospital; Owen put the vehicle in park and turned off the engine to have it rest in one of the employee parking spots, he retrieved his son from the back seat in which his wrist hung down. The male trauma surgeon walked in the emergency department with Amelia behind him and was greeted with Meredith following.
“Hey; how was the game?” The older general surgeon asked her sister who was visually distraught and in pain, the brunette did not say a word but just stood in the doorway of the trauma room where she watched her husband and son who started sobbing in pain just minutes before, while a wave of pain shot through his arm. Although Amelia knew it was only an arm injury, the sympathy pain she felt was unimaginable. Meredith glanced back and forth between Owen and Amelia.
“Leo got pushed to the ground and his arm is broken. Either get an orthopedic surgeon down here or allow me to fix this.” Owen requested of Meredith who snapped on her gloves to take a glance at the laceration on her nephew’s head.
The general surgeon informed her intern to page an available orthopedic surgeon before the male trauma surgeon got angry, once the brunette heard Meredith’s request of the intern, she finally sat on the other side of Leo and took his hand.
“Ah, okay. Hey little guy!” The familiar voice boasted as he walked into the local trauma room causing both Owen and Amelia to glance up from where their eyes rested on each other.
“You paged Dr. Lincoln out of all the surgeons in this hospital?” Owen stressed to the clueless intern who looked helpless but sprinted out of the trauma room. Before Link started to snap the surgical gloves onto his hand, Leo stopped him.
“You got in Daddy’s way when I was a baby, don’t even dare touching my arm. Mommy don’t even liked you!” Leo’s small but powerful voice ordered the blonde orthopedic surgeon before the man backed up in his standing position. Amelia and Owen attempted to remain a similar straight face to the ones that mirrored their sons’ earlier that day.
Once Link left the room the brunette bursted into laughter causing Owen to join in, causing the little boy to accompany his parents laughter knowing that he said something funny. The male trauma surgeon held out his hand for Leo to slap it with his non-injured hand.
“I think Leo just shot his first goal.” Owen proudly told Amelia who nodded her head in agreement after appreciating what type of life she happily had after deciding to shoot her own goal four years prior and returning back to her soulmate’s arms.

I’m sorry pt 2
Today was the day was getting released from the hospital with little Lane. Amelia was playing on the bed with Leo while Owen was putting Lane in his car seat. After Owen got everything packed up in the room he went to go put their stuff in the car and pulled the car to the front for Amelia and the kids.
Amelia picked up the car seat and grabbed Leo’s hand walking out the room while walking out the hospital she bumped into Link. She looked at him and back down at Leo and Lane.
“Can you drop the rest of Lane’s clothes off at Mer’s thanks,”Amelia said walking off nervously.
Amelia gently placed both boys in the car it’s been a while since she’s been in Owen’s car and nothing has changed. Amelia sat in the front seat next Owen, he smiled because for someone who just gave birth she looked amazing. Amelia’s hair was in its naturally wavy state cause she had taken a shower before they left the hospital, she was wearing a white button up shirt with her denim maturity jeans glowing.
Owen drove them to his mother’s house because he thought it would be the best environment for them so they’ll have help adjusting with Lane and Leo. He also needed to tell Teddy everything but at this moment it was the last thing on his mind he just wanted to soaking up this time with Lane cause he didn’t get to be part of his pregnancy. Amelia looked at Owen confused to why they were at his mother’s house.
“Owen why are we at your mother’s house? I thought you were dropping Lane and I off to mer’s.” Amelia spoke.
“I thought it would be best if we stayed here so we’ll have help with adjusting to the boys and I wanted to be with lane cause I’ve already missed to much.” Owen explained to Amelia.
“I understand but all of Lane’s clothes are at Mer’s so could you get them while I get us settled.” Amelia said getting the diaper bag and Leo.
Owen grabbed the car seat and knocked on his mother’s door. He waited a few second and his mother answered the door with a smile on her face.
“Hey you brought the babies Leo and Alli....” She paused when she looked in the car seat and seen Lane.
“That’s not Alli girl who’s this cutie?” His mom questioned Amelia and Leo we’re still standing by the car.
“This is mine and Amelia’s newborn son Lane.” Owen spoke happily.
“Y’all come in,” His mother spoke.
Owen and Amelia went in to the house with the kids Amelia looked around shooked she had never been inside his mother house before and it was beautiful. The house was well decorated it reminded her of a cabin with the wood interior and the house felt very homey to her like she had been there forever.
“Well hello Amelia I haven’t seen you in while you look amazing.” She smiles at Amelia.
Amelia has always been fond of Owen’s mother. She would always come to her for advise whenever she needed it.
“Thank you it’s wonderful to see you I love the house it gorgeous,” Amelia said.
“Mom I was thinking Amelia and I could stay here for a while until we get everything situated. Since she just had Lane the other day and I haven’t talked to teddy yet,” Owen spoke nervously.
“Of course I wouldn’t mind but can I see this new grand baby of mine’s.” She said reaching to grab Lane out of his car seat.
She picked of the tiny baby placing him in her arms she smiled cause he shared the face of her deceased husband Edwin with a sprinkle of his mother in him. He was so calm in her arms halfway asleep he was nothing like Owen she thought Owen was a fussy baby. So she thought he must have gotten it for Amelia.
“He’s a sweet he must’ve gotten it from his mother cause Owen was a nightmare,” She laughed.
“I don’t believe I was and he’s very calm I don’t know where he gets it from cause Amelia, Leo, and I aren’t calm he just so happens to be calm,” Owen said looking down at Leo playing with his toy cars.
“I thought my whole pregnancy he would be an active baby cause he kicked all day everyday but he’s my calm baby while Leo’s my happy baby,” Amelia said rubbing Leo’s soft curls.
“ Who came up with his name because I love it and think it fits him perfectly,” She said looking at Lane peaceful sleeping on her.
“Owen found the name Lane and show me it and we both thought he looked like a little and cause of its meaning and how unique it is. I gave him his middle name Augustus- Sherpherd because I wanted him to have my father’s name since we named Leo. Leo Edwin-Amileo Hunt both boys has a part of us in their names.” Amelia explained
“That’s beautiful they fit them very perfectly. Well let me show y’all to your room and Owen you can go get all of you guys stuff and talk to teddy about everything she deserves to know everything,” His mom patted him on his shoulder.
Owen left out while his mother showed Amelia to their room. The room was beautiful it had enough space for all four of them and it had a bathroom inside.
Owen went to Mer’s first to get Lane’s clothes, diapers, and his blankets. He packed all of Lane’s things in the back of the truck now he was on his way to face Teddy. He was kind of nervous cause he didn’t know how teddy would react he loves teddy but he also loves Amelia and he refuse to lose Amelia.
Owen had pulled up to their apartment complex and took a deep breath before getting out of the truck. He slowly made his way up to the third floor where they stayed. When he got to the door he paused before unlocking it. He called out teddy’s name. Teddy came out of Leo’s and Alli’s room with Allison on her hip.
“Hey hun you’re home,” She smiled.
“Yea Teddy we need to talk it’s serious,” Owen spoke.
“Ok where Leo?” She questioned still happy.
Teddy sat down with Allison Owen sat and in front of them to break the news to her about Amelia and the baby. Owen explained the whole situation to Teddy she understood most of it but didn’t get why he would want to stay with Amelia instead of them co-parenting from different houses. But she slowly realized why he wanted too and her face sadden.
“You still love her don’t you? I knew you would I can’t believe I gave up a good man who actually loved me and put me and Allison first to be with you. Every time you still love her no matter what I do you’ll always love Amelia sherpherd more than me and I just don’t get it Owen I’ve loved you for years and your love for me isn’t the same why did you want to be with me? If you know you love her is it cause she was with link you came running to me and when you thought she was pregnant with link’s baby you wanted to be over her?” Teddy went on a rant about Owen just looked about her.
“ Teddy I love you and Allison you know that but I’ll always have love for Amelia and won’t lie to you and say I don’t. Amelia helped me through a lot she was my back bone for a couple years. Teddy I chose to be with you cause Amelia and I aren’t good for each other and we thought it would be better to go our separate ways. Teddy I have always had love for you and you know that but I will not choose between you and Amelia I won’t hurt neither one of you cause I have done that enough.” Owen spoke.
“Owen i think we should call this a quits because we aren’t meant for each other we just aren’t on the same page when it come to our love I love you more than you love me and I’m tired of trying to force something that doesn’t need to be forced. You will always be the father of our daughter Allison and for that I will always have love for you and I would love for us to try to be friends.” Teddy said hugging Owen.
Owen went to the kids room and packed all of Leo’s things then he went to what used to be his and Teddy’s room and packed all of his things to leave.
“I’m sorry Teddy,” he said then left.
On his way back to his mother’s house he decided to stop at the baby store to get a crib for Leo and a bassinet for Lane. He also bought other things they may need for their boys.
Owen arrives back to his mother house he grabs all of their clothes then goes to knock on the door and wait for his mother to answer it. He waits for a little then his mother answers the door in her apron immediately Owen nose is hit the amazing smell of dinner being made. Owen walks in the house to his and Amelia room. When he walks in the room he sees Amelia nursing Lane and Leo asleep next to her. He smiles because who looks this amazing with two kids he thought.
Amelia was humming as she was nursing she hadn’t even noticed Owen had came back. She was at peace Lane and Leo caused her no troubles they were her perfect boys. Amelia looked up to see Owen had started putting up their clothes. After he had organized their clothes and put them where they belonged he went back to the truck to get the things he bought from the store to bring them in the house.
Owen had brought everything in the house he started to build Leo’s crib first by his side of the bed since Lane’s needs to be near Amelia so she can nurse him. After he finished that he built Lane’s bassinet and places it near Amelia. Once he finished he sat on the bed near Leo. Amelia was now burping Lane. She was leaning against the bed frame she was her nursing and a black pair of leggings looking amazing to Owen.
“Owen how did everything go with Teddy? I hope I didn’t ruin y’all relationship I just want you to be happy,” Amelia said.
“Well we broke up cause we just weren’t on the same page with our love and Amelia you didn’t ruin my relationship it was me to blame for my relationship not working. Teddy knew I still love you.” Owen said getting Lane from Amelia.
Owen held their youngest son in his arms smiling Amelia sat there in awn cause of Owen and her boys but what Owen also said to her. Deep down Amelia still had feelings for Owen but she knew if they give this a try again it wouldn’t work out. She thinks they should be friends and co-parent their kids together.
“Owen,” Amelia said softly.
Owen looked up to meet her beautiful ocean blue eyes.
“I still love you I just want you to know that,” She said then walked out the room.
She walked into the kitchen to see Owen’s mother setting the table. She smiled when she seen Amelia she took her apron off and came to sit next to Amelia.
“Amelia I have always been fond of you and I always hoped you and Owen lasted because I see how happy you make each other,” She spoke with her hand on top of Amelia’s.
“Yea we make each other happy but we also hurt each other so much and I can’t do that anymore I have two kids I refuse to let be hurt because of us.” Amelia said.
“I understand you dear but the heart wants what it wants instead of just giving up get some therapy and start off as friends and work y’all way and you’ll know it’s real because fate push you two together all the time.” She said rubbing Amelia’s hand then gets up to finish setting the table.
Amelia smiled because of how wise Owen’s mother was when it came to them. While Amelia was thinking her thought were interrupted by her phone dinging. She looked down to see a text from Link in his text he said “Amelia I’m sorry for the way I reacted I love you and still want to be with you even with the fact your son isn’t mine I’ll love him like he is mine.” Amelia just looked at the text and didn’t know what to do she still liked Link but she also still loved Owen. She turned her phone and sat it on the table before walking back to their bedroom.
She slowly walked into their room also as she entered the room she saw Lane sleeping on Owen’s chest while Leo slept next to them cuddled up. She smiled it was adorable how all of them were sleeping. She turned around deciding not to bother them. She went in the kitchen and sat down and ate some of the lasagna Owen’s mother had prepared for them. She was in the kitchen all by herself since evelyn went back upstairs. Amelia enjoyed the lasagna it was probably the best she ever had and it was the only home cooked meal she had in a while since she doesn’t know how to cook much. Neither her or Owen were good cooks.
I hope you guys enjoyed this story I know I haven’t posted in a while but I’m going to work on a pt three and if everyone knows how to link their stories together can you tell me how. But I hope you like this please share it

I absolutely love this fic it’s amazing 😉
Tiny Waveforms
Hi! Initially I wasn’t going to post a fic before the one I am still writing that is heavily focused on baby Christopher and Amelia but ever since Caterina announced her pregnancy last week; inspiration for this one happened and I just started writing. And having watched the newest episode; I am so happy to have more inspiration! If anyone is interested in me writing a part two; I would be happy to do so! Here is “Tiny Waveforms,” please enjoy!
Deep exhaustion had been a regular occurrence in the brunette’s life since Carina DeLuca confirmed her pregnancy on the dreadful night that she simply wanted a threesome due to her undiscovered hormones, but despite the regular feeling; Amelia pushed through every day and night that passed by. Over the course of her work day, the neurosurgeon never allowed herself to appear tired around her patients or the rest of the hospital staff and most certainly not Link; because she felt as though she was weak and people might have gotten the idea that she couldn’t handle being pregnant or even worse; a mother. During the nighttime when she was in the comfort of Meredith Grey’s rather large home or in an elevator by herself and no blonde orthopedic surgeon in sight; were the only times Amelia felt okay with being exhausted. Part of her had wished that while she had been pregnant with her baby boy; that she appreciated the waves crashing on the surface more often than what she had done.
Also throughout her entire pregnancy since Carina confirmed her fears once again; the brunette’s mental health had been an up and down motion, mainly due to the constant mood swings she would express to certain people. The ones who knew about her past pregnancy, with Link she remained positive but when it was late at night and could not fall asleep; she shared her scariest thoughts with Maggie which lead to several tears shed from both sisters. Everything around the hospital felt silent and few familiar surgeons walked the halls due to Miranda Bailey firing nearly everyone due to an insurance fraud investigation earlier that year; but regardless, the brunette stepped onto the elevator which was stopped by the last person she needed to see in that current moment.
“Hey Pumpkin; how’s our Little Peanut treating you tonight? I am sad and sorry that I barely got to see you today, let’s go home and have some weighted blanket bonding time then afterwards we could indulge in some leftover Halloween candy from one of the kids’ candy buckets.” Link playfully suggested in an almost whispered tone to Amelia as he snuck his left hand around her waist and his opposite hand on her small yet round stomach. Anxiousness and discomfort built inside of the neurosurgeon as she felt the placement of his hands; the growing pains she had been secretly feeling for three days prior and anxiety from the constant movements of his hands that were slowly reaching down further.
“Link; please I am in a lot of pain and not really in the mood. But I’ll see you at Meredith’s; okay?” Amelia shakingly informed Link, as she pushed her body away from him and backed up, but beamed a fake smile on her face to balance the mood.
Before the blonde orthopedic surgeon had a moment to ask the pregnant woman what he had done wrong and if she was alright, he watched her walk as fast as she could away from the elevator and pressed the downwards button to make his way to the hospital’s parking garage.
“Yeah; sure. See you at Meredith’s.” Link scoffed in reply to the neurosurgeon as the heavy doors started to close before he was able to glance at what direction Amelia had walked towards.
From afar at a nearby nurses’ station the male trauma surgeon made notes in his recent patient’s chart and recognized the brunette who sat alone in one of the chairs which the hospital’s visitors sat in as they waited for their family members to come out of surgery. Owen attempted to appear not visible until the feeling ate him alive. He placed the electronic tablet down on the counter and casually sat in the seat next to the one she occupied, and remained silent.
“What are you doing here so late?” The brunette softly pointed out to the male trauma surgeon who had his hands in his pocket while she held her knees close to her stomach.
“Ever since Leo and I moved out of Teddy’s house, my Mom watches him more often while I spend most of my nights here also since Bailey went and fired everybody, I am one of the only guys here these days.”
Confusion washed over the young neurosurgeon’s face once hearing what her friend and colleague told her, she then looked into the distance before focusing back on the man.
“Owen; what are you talking about? How could she do that? You and her have a new baby together, and didn’t you just buy her a house after selling ours?” Amelia questioned Owen; feeling genuinely confused how the blonde cardiothoracic surgeon could do something like that to her apparent boyfriend.
“That’s another thing Teddy decided to inform me in on; that Allison isn't my daughter. She said one night a man living in Germany called asking about how her pregnancy was going. The love I had for her was built on a lie.” The redhead angrily expressed to Amelia who continued listening to him, afraid of what her facial expression might have been; Owen slowly turned his head to look at Amelia. Her face was neutral, understanding and filled with an indescribable amount of love; almost as much as it did throughout their relationship.
“Are you going to fight for her? Owen, you have always wanted her in your life and you still have time to get her back.” The brunette sympathetically challenged Owen as she now looked deep into his eyes and noticed the similar pain she had been feeling the past several months.
“You know he calls you Mama whenever he sees a picture of you or across the hallway but too distracted with a patient. He knows that Teddy isn’t his mother.”
Suddenly tears sprung to Amelia’s crystal sky blue eyes and fell faster than she could wipe away with the flat part of her hand, once hearing the confession of Owen’s and the small action Leo had been doing but she never sees; her heart felt as though it was breaking, after thinking about the life her and Owen had built together.
“He does?” The brunette tearfully interrupted only to be matched with the male trauma surgeon lovingly nod his head in reply and matched her soft smile. Moments went on before Owen retrieved the tissue box on the end table near them and offered a tissue for Amelia to dry her tears.
“Are you okay?” Owen questioned while he watched her intently, mirroring the time when she had been listening to Derek’s last voicemail for his wife.
“Yeah.” The young neurosurgeon simply replied after wiping the tears away from her now tear stained cheek before glancing at the thin watch on her small wrist. She removed herself from the seated position she was in and watched Owen who still sat in the chair.
“I know the situation is a little awkward but do you want to come to my ultrasound appointment with me? I have been too terrified to go with Link and all his positivity. And going alone is an actual nightmare to me.” Amelia explained to Owen before she nervously awaited his reply; instead of frustration or anger, his face softened as he also removed himself from the chair he had been sitting in. The man smiled.
“If that’s what you want. I would love to.”
Once hearing his response the brunette began to make her way towards Carina DeLuca’s office and examination room along with Owen next to her down the halls. Inside of the male trauma surgeon’s mind played out memories of the past four and a half years with the brunette; from their moments in the on call rooms to their last night together in each other’s arms on the large king size mattress he regretted selling. Before he could begin to ask Amelia a question, the two arrived at the door of Carina’s office.
“Here I am for my ultrasound and beyond terrified.” Amelia casually admitted to the female Italian who sat at her desk, heavily engrossed in a stack of paperwork in front and plate of food beside her. Carina glanced up and softly smiled at the brunette.
“Amelia, I promise you that you and your little baby are perfectly healthy. Go on and get changed.” The other brunette encouraged in her strong Italian accent before she noticed Owen standing back a little further while he smiled at the two women interacting. Carina then invited the male trauma surgeon into her office as they both awaited the neurosurgeon to dress into her street clothing before the ultrasound.
“Has Amelia told you anything about her pregnancy so far?” The slim Italian asked Owen who sat across from her as she took a bite out of the muffin she had been eating.
“Her and I talked about how we want to continue being a family regardless of the situation. Why? What makes you ask?” Owen wondered with curiosity in his tone as he folded his arms over her chest.
“Dr. Shepherd came to my office the other night and talked about how several weeks ago she watched Dr. Lincoln take a form of narcotics for knee pain or something like that. He took a nap but apparently he was disoriented when he woke up. Do you know why this would upset Dr. Shepherd and cause her to be exhausted all the time these days?”
Owen swallowed the large lump in his throat as he listened to what the middle aged Italian woman was telling him. He remembered the story Amelia had told him three years before, and about her dead fiancé who had overdosed on narcotics then never woke up ever again. The male trauma surgeon knew that the man In the time that Amelia and Owen had not been together, he felt as though he needed to educate himself more on the topic of addiction and how to support those battling the disease daily; in that research, he had learned to never disclose of another person’s recovery unless it is fine with the person affected.
“Amelia has been through a lot before we met, but that is not my story to tell. She doesn’t talk about it much; I will keep my eyes on her.” The man concerned and informed Carina before he felt the presence of Amelia behind him.
Once noticing the brunette, Carina smiled in her direction and received a small smile signaling that she was ready to make their way to the examination room. Owen removed himself from the chair and walked slightly behind the two women before she felt Amelia’s soft hand reach for his, to most her gesture was small and meaningless but to them it was just part of their strong connection with one another. Entering the room; Amelia quietly and carefully sat on the cloth covered bed for Carina to begin the ultrasound as anxiety made its return internally.
“Could someone maybe, I don’t know, tell me something to take my mind off of the storm that’s inside of my mind right now?” The brunette shyly requested of either the Italian or male trauma surgeon that occupied the room with her, the redhead had sensed the anxiousness as he held her hand in the hallway but remained calm for Amelia. Owen cleared his throat as he watched Carina retrieve the ultrasound doppler.
“Did I tell you about how Leo learned what finger paint is in daycare the other day?” Owen asked Amelia with excitement and pride heavy in his question. Both Carina and Owen saw the brunette placed her arm behind her head as head rest support and smiled.
“No. How did that go?”
“Well, he is now obsessed with the color red and has his hands in paint almost all the time now. I am pretty sure that he forgets that other colors exist.” Owen happily informed the woman resting on the table as a proud smile shined on his face.
Genuine happiness reflected on Amelia's face as she beamed a wide smile at her son’s latest obsession was and hearing the male trauma surgeon’s laugh afterwards. Since meeting Owen, Amelia had always been in love with his deep yet unique laughter, that continued to make her laugh four and a half years later.
“Okay, Amelia. This might be a little cold.” Carina interrupted the two as she held onto the small bottle of blue gel, the brunette nodded her head in response. Without a moment to think; Owen reached out his hand for Amelia to hold onto and was as expected, matched with hers.
Both Amelia and Owen intently stared at the monitor beside Carina and marveled simultaneously at the baby that appeared. The tiny hands from the forming round abdomen area and growing feet; everything felt perfect. Tears sprung to the brunette’s eyes as she stared at the image over and over again, she cleared her throat before speaking for the first time since making their way back to the room.
“Could you maybe focus on his or her brain?” Amelia tearfully requested of the female obstetrician and held her breath in, causing Owen to grasp her hand tighter as he noticed more anxiousness. Carina fulfilled the request to focus on the healthy and perfect frontal lobe; which caused more tears to fall down rapidly her already tear stained cheeks.
“That’s a brain.” The young neurosurgeon shockingly told herself under her breath so neither Carina or Owen could hear and took his hand closer to her lips than softly kissed it. He smiled at the small gesture.
“Your baby looks perfect; Amelia. Congratulations Amelia and Owen.” Carina joyfully congratulated the two but were matched with confused faces from both Owen and Amelia. The brunette gingerly sat from her laying position to look back and forth at Carina.
“Carina; this is Link’s baby, Owen is only here for support.” Amelia almost defensively told the other brunette and had Owen in agreeance. The brunette smiled after feeling uncomfortable.
“Based on the gestation age of what the ultrasound had listed was six and a half months pregnant; you had mentioned to me that Owen and you had not slept together in seven months. Amelia; I tell you as your OB, there is no possible way that this is Link’s baby. Congratulations Owen.”
Thank you so much for reading!

I’m sorry
Amelia just given birth to her beautiful baby boy, the baby had light blue eyes that resembled the ocean, strawberry kissed hair, and pinkish pale skin. While Amelia was holding her baby boy she felt tear come down her eyes she loved him with everything in her. Amelia looked at her baby and at link and she didn’t see any of link in him. She saw some of herself in him but she saw a lot of somebody else she loved in him a lot. Amelia kissed her beautiful baby’s forehand.
Link reached for the baby and Amelia handed him to him and laid back down. Link handled the baby and felt zero connect between them. Link thought the baby didn’t look like him. He handed the baby back to Amelia. Amelia so the expression on Link’s and she knew he knew.
“Link i’m so sorry I didn’t know,” Amelia said while tears fell down her cheeks.
Link just walked out the room and headed towards the ER where he knew Owen would be. When he walked into the ER  he saw Owen standing at the desk on the tablet going through patient logs.  Owen was confused as why to Link was here since he thought Amelia just had there baby.
“Is there something I can help you with Dr.Link?” Owen asked confused.
“I think you should go see your son,” Link spoke kinda irritated.
“What are you talking about? Did something happen with Leo and I don’t know?” Owen asked.
“Just go see Amelia and your son,” Link said walking off.
Owen was confused to what Link was talking about did Amelia really give birth to his son? Owen ran to the nearest elevator to see Amelia when Owen made it to Amelia hospital room. He saw Amelia being hugged by Maggie and Mer it looked like she was crying so he softly knocked on the door frame.
“Hey O,” Amelia said wiping her tears from her face.
“Hey Mia,” Owen said standing at the door.
“Come in,” Amelia sniffled.
Mer walked by and patted Owen on the back and said congrats before her and Maggie walked out the room.
“Owen, I’m sorry I didn’t know,” Amelia said.
Owen walked over to Amelia and hugged her tightly and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. Amelia smiled cause he was very tender to her and showed her support.
“Wanna meet your son?” Amelia asked looking over the baby sleeping in the bassinet next to her.
“Of course,” Owen smiled.
Amelia picked the baby boy and placed him in Owen’s arms Owen instantly smiled. Amelia smiled at holding their baby boy he really was the perfect mix of both of them.
“What’s his name?” Owen asked looking at the baby.
“I didn’t give him a name yet,” Amelia said.
“Why not?” Owen questioned.
“I didn’t have any name that I really loved,” Amelia said.
“Ok we’ll find one,” Owen said.
“I want a earthy name,” Amelia said.
“I want a name with a meaning,” Owen spoke and Amelia nodded.
Owen got up and placed the baby down in the bassinet next Amelia and sat next to her. Owen and Amelia looked at baby names for hours until they found the perfect name for their second son.
“What about this name I like it,” Owen said showing Amelia his phone.
“I love it I think it fits him huh?” Amelia smiled.
“Hi Lane,” Amelia said picking him out of his bassinet and kissing his cheeks.
“Amelia I’ll be right back,” Owen said kissing Lane and moving Amelia hair outta her face.
Owen came back with Leo in his arms Amelia smiled she hadn’t seen Leo since in a long time. She was nervous he might not even recognize her so she reached out her arms to see if he would come to her and he did.
I haven’t edited this so I’m sorry for any errors.

Our baby
This takes place in s16x02 when Amelia tells Link she’s pregnant.
“Link I’m pregnant,” Amelia said very nervously to reaction of this pregnancy.
“Um Amelia the isn’t mines and can’t be mines,” Link said calmly taking her hands in his.
“What? Yes it is you’re the only person I’ve been sleeping with since Owen,” Amelia said taking her hands from his.
“Amelia I’m infertile from chemo therapy I can’t have babies and I know this for sure,” Link said.
Amelia pulled him into a tight hug because she felt bad for telling him she was pregnant with his baby and he can’t have kids.
“I’m so sorry Link I didn’t know,” Amelia said softly.
“ It’s perfectly fine but I hope you’ll still let me be in your life and hopefully your baby’s too,” Link said happy-fully.
Even though Link knew the baby wasn’t his he still wanted to be there for Amelia and support her through every decision. Link really enjoyed Amelia’s company tho they’ve been only been hanging out for a month or two.
After her conversation with Link Amelia went to find Owen. Amelia pulled out her phone and sent a quick text to Owen telling him to meet her at the park they need to talk about something important.
Amelia sat at the park patiently waiting for Owen, she took out her phone and started playing a game when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked up to see Owen smiling above her with Leo in his arms. She smiled seeing her little boy with him cause she thought he wasn’t going to bring Leo.
“Hey you brought Leo with you,” Amelia smiled.
“Yea he really isn’t the biggest fan of Teddy yet so I thought I’d bring him with since he adores you so much,” Owen said taking a seat next to Amelia.
“But what’s up why’d you text me to meet you at the park?” Owen asked nervously.
“Well I was talking to Carina and I find out I’m pregnant,” Amelia said grabbing Leo out of Owen’s arms.
“Aw congratulations,” Owen said with a kind of sad look on his face.
“At first I thought Link was the father but turns out Link can’t have kids,” Amelia said looking at Owen to see if he’ll catch on.
“ Who’s the father Amelia?” Owen asked looking at her.
“Owen Hunt is the father of the baby” Amelia said playing with Leo’s fingers.
“Oh .... Wait the baby is mine’s,” Owen said smiling.
“Why are you so happy you just had a baby and you’re newly into a relationship?” Amelia asked looking at him as if he was crazy.
“Because I’ve always dreamt of you carrying our baby,” Owen said.
“But I think we should continue seeing the people we are seeing and just co-parent this little peanut,” Amelia said placing her hand on her stomach.
“This is what were calling the baby Peanut?” Owen asked laughing.
“Yea I guess since we don’t know the gender yet and the since the baby is little why not,” Amelia smiled.
“Ok our peanut it is,” Owen said placing his hand over hers on her stomach.
Couple months later
Owen has been at all of Amelia’s doctor’s appointment they also know the gender they refuse to tell anyone until the baby is born. Amelia wanted to keep it a secret their baby is perfectly healthy and their little peanut is a girl.
It early in the morning Owen is at home with Teddy, Allison, and Leo.
“Hey Teddy, Leo and I are going to see Amelia we’ll be back later ok?” Owen yelled while he was getting Leo ready.
“Yea sure tell Amelia I said Hello and how is pregnancy doing her?” Teddy yelled back.
Owen told about Amelia’s pregnancy and how he was the father cause he didn’t want to keep it from her. Teddy handled the situation well she understood but she felt as if she was losing Owen to Amelia. Due to the fact that he never misses one of Amelia’s doctor appointments and he always calls and checks on her. Teddy would also caught him staring at Amelia lustfully sometimes and if Amelia tells him she’s having a certain craving at anytime he will stop what he was doing to get it for her. But Owen was good with the kids he is always there when Teddy needs help with Allison and he spends a lot of time with Allison.
At Amelia’s doctor appointment
Amelia is now six months pregnant and looking amazing she has put on about 10-15 pounds this pregnancy.
“How are you feeling Amelia?” Owen asked placing his hand on her growing stomach.
“I’m feeling fat cause peanut is always hungry I think she’s going to be a big baby,” Amelia said smiling.
Leo pointed to her stomach babbling something her and Owen couldn’t make out until he said....
“Baby,” Leo said putting his hand on Amelia bare stomach.
Owen and Amelia just sat there in shock cause they never heard him say that.
“Good job mr.Leo you are correct there is an baby in there,” Carina said as she put the cold gel on Amelia stomach.
“Would you like to help to look for the baby?” Carina said as she reached her arms out towards him and reached for and she picked him up letting him help her.
“When did he learn how to say baby?” Amelia asked Owen who just shrugged his shoulder cause Leo has never said that before.
“Okay there she is and look at what she’s doing,” Carina said turning the screen towards them.
Amelia and Owen looked at the screen so see their baby girl sucking her thumb. Amelia and Owen couldn’t but to smile because it was too freaking cute. From ultrasound they could already tell she had Amelia’s lips and nose and everything else was Owen’s.
Owen looked over at Amelia to see she was crying he smiled and wiped the tears from her eyes. He knew Amelia was scared to go through with this pregnancy since what happened to Christopher. He smiled because he knew how much she wanted this baby and she wanted their baby to be healthy.
“She looks just like you,” Amelia said still wiping the tears from her eyes.
“Thank you Mr. Leo you were a great assistant and Amelia you can schedule your next appointment before you leave.” Carina said before leaving out the room.
When they left the doctor’s appointment they decided they would go baby shopping for the nursery at Amelia’s condo. First they were going to drop Leo off at Mer’s for a little bit cause Leo isn’t the biggest fan of shopping or being patient enough to stay in line.
Owen and Amelia walked through the baby store and picked all type of things out like a crib, high chair, car seat, bassinet, clothes, blankets, bottles, breast pumps, toys, decoration, and etc. Amelia and Owen decided the theme of the nursery would be white and gray with ballerinas everywhere. While they were on their way to the register Amelia saw a beautiful frame that said my family and she grabbed it.
At Amelia’s condo
Owen just got done painting the nursery walls gray while Amelia was washing all the baby clothes they bought for peanut. Owen started working on putting the crib together when Amelia came in and sat in the rocking chair.
“Owen do you have any name idea for our sweet little girl?” Amelia asked folding clothes in the rocking chair.
“Yea just a few you?” Owen asked screwing some screws in the bed.
“I got two wanna hear em?” Amelia said.
“Of course I got one name I really love for this baby,” Owen said.
“Now I wanna know the one name you have for peanut,” Amelia said.
“Okay I really like the name Stormy for the baby’s name,”Owen said.
“That funny cause the two names I had were Stormy and Emma,” Amelia said laughing.
“Then I guess her name is Stormy,” Amelia said looking at her belly.
Owen finished the crib and walked over towards the rocking chair and put his hand on her baby bump rubbing it up and down.
“Hey Stormy I’m your dad,” Owen said.
Amelia laughed but when Owen said that Stormy kicked.
“Ok now that we have a first name what about her middle name I really like Rose or Elsie.” Owen said.
“I like Elsie but how about Emerson I want a strong sounding middle name,” Amelia said.
“Okay I like that Stormy Emerson Hunt or Shepherd- Hunt?” Owen said.
“She’s just Hunt,” Amelia said.
After they finished the nursery Amelia had a surprise Owen and Leo more for Leo than Owen. She told Owen to follow her to the spare room in her condo. She stop at the door then opened it the room was designed for Leo there were dinosaurs everywhere because Leo has been so into dinosaurs lately.
“Amelia he is going to love this,”Owen smiled.
“I hope so I wanted to start spending more time with Leo if that’s ok,” Amelia said.
“Of course why not he freaking loves you,” Owen said.
Owen and Amelia enjoyed their day together Leo stayed with Amelia and Owen went back home with Teddy and Allison.
2 months later
Amelia was sitting on her couch watching a movie with Link. Link had his hand on her stomach Amelia was cool with it but it didn’t feel as when Owen would rub her belly. Stormy started kicking extremely hard and it was starting to get painful for Amelia. Amelia started to shift and turn in her seat.
“Are you okay Amelia?” Link asked.
“Um the baby is starting to kick extremely hard mind talking to it for me?” Amelia asked putting her hand on her stomach.
“Okay Hi baby i’m link your mommy’s boyfriend I can’t wait to meet you and see how much you look like your mommy,” Link spoke which didn’t help at all.
Amelia knew what would make her calm down but she didn’t want to do it since Link was there. Usually when stormy was kicking like this the sound of Owen’s voice would calm her down a bit. Amelia sat there a couple more minutes trying to handle the pain.
“Amelia please just call Owen I know you don’t want to do it cause I’m here and you think I’m going to be upset but I won’t this is his child there isn’t anything I could do about that,” Link said handing her, her phone.
Amelia pressed on Owen’s name and the phone rang three times before he answered.
“Hi Amelia,” Owen said sounding as if he was sleeping.
“I’m sorry if I woke you but the baby is kicking really hard and won’t calm down,” Amelia sound.
“It’s fine I just put Leo and Alli to sleep so put me on speaker,” Owen said.
Amelia did as Owen said and put he on speaker sitting the phone on her belly.
“You’re on speaker phone,” Amelia said.
“Hi baby mommy told me you’re giving her a hard time,”Owen spoke and stormy calmed down entirely.
“I think she’s going to be a daddy’s girl cause she stopped thank you Owen,” Amelia said smiling.
Link saw the smile on Amelia and that said it all she was falling for Owen again and there was no stopping it.
“I’m just going to go,” Link said getting up.
“Why what’s wrong?” Amelia said getting up.
“I know you don’t see it but I do you’re still in love with Owen and now that you’re having his baby you’re falling more and more in love him everyday and I can’t sit here and watch you fall for him. Amelia I like you very much and I want what’s best for you and that little baby and me and you being together isn’t what’s best,” Link said.
“Link I’m sorry I do like you a lot I don’t even know how to stop falling for Owen,”Amelia said about to cry.
Link sat next to Amelia and pulled her in a hug he knew she couldn’t help her feeling but he would continue to support her and be there for her. He knew they could have a very great friendship instead of relationship.
Link kissed her forehead and said.. “Amelia I will continue to support and be there for you as a friend okay?”
Amelia nodded her head little did she know Owen was still on the phone and he heard everything. Owen smiled cause he was still deeply in love with but thought it was best to let her go and be with Teddy.
A month later
Amelia’s labor
Owen held Amelia’s as she walked around the hospital to help her labor going by faster. After while of walking they were back in Amelia’s hospital room. Amelia was handling labor like an champ. Amelia labor lasted 7 hours before she brought their beautiful baby girl into the world.
“Good job Amelia here she is,” Carina said as she sat stormy on to her mother’s chest.
“You did amazing Amelia she’s gorgeous,” Owen said kissing Amelia forehead.
“I know she looks just like you I love you Owen,” Amelia said outta breathe.
“I love you more thank you for bring our beautiful stormy into this world and for loving me and Leo,” Owen said kissing her lips passionately.
Owen and Teddy broke three weeks ago because Owen told her truth about he was feeling they agreed to co-parent and she’s finally with someone who loves her and only her.
An hour later Mer and Maggie walked in with Leo and Teddy and Tom brought Allison too. Amelia smiled she looked at her and stormy family. Amelia asked Carina to take a picture of them case this is the perfect picture to put in the frame she bought for the nursery.
“Okay you have to tell us this beautiful baby’s name.” Teddy said looking at Amelia smiling.
“Alright her name is Stormy Emerson Hunt,” Amelia said looking down at her beautiful baby girl before passing her to Owen.

I believe Amelia is carrying Owen’s baby hopefully. If she is that means she is like 2-3 months pregnant and I can’t wait to see pregnant Amelia. And Ameleo Leo being a big brother all over again.
