Tamaki would be the one to suggest it, then he’d be so extra that he’d miss every move. Would insist it’s the games fault for not being able to read his overdramatic hand gestures.
Haruhi wouldn’t be playing. If she were forced to play, she’d actually try, hitting some moves. Then would get tired and quit.
Hikaru would be eager to play. too eager. to the point where he wouldn’t listen when everyone said to make sure their wristband was strapped on tightly, and would end up flinging it at the TV.
Kaoru would actually try to do the moves correctly, then would end up trying to do a spin and falling on his face. Would be a little embarrassed. Then get back up, spin, repeat.
Mistukuni would be having so much fun that he’d kind of just...? do his own thing. He’d be laughing, holding Usa-chan in one hand, remote in the other. Could do really well if he wanted to though. Would play for a bit then stop to eat cake.
Takashi would probably be the one to get the most moves correct, kind of like the silent dark horse that he is. No one expects it, everyone’s focused on everything else. Then BAM. He’s the victor.
Kyoya would simply observe. Could be coerced into playing one game most likely Tamaki’s doing. But if you hate losing, don’t ask him to play. He will win. You’ll turn on a song he’s never heard before and he will win. He’ll beat you at your own game. Every. Single. Time.

Hc that while Kyoya is seen as the most mature and in control of his feelings he's just as bad at managing them as Tamaki (if not worse),,, just in a different way. He is less "controlling" his emotions and more stuffing them down and pretending they don't exist. As a result whenever Kyoya looses control of his feelings it's *bad*. Like full on panic-attack bad. (This may just be me projecting onto him though lol.)
YES. LITERALLY. GOD. OKAY. here’s the thing. we’re all like “kyoya is evil and cold and we love him” which like of course i support. but we forget that he’s literally just a teenage boy. he’s literally just a teenager, and teenagers have Feelings. and kyoya is someone who bottles up all of his emotions until he snaps, and it gets ugly on all sides. and anon. perhaps we are both projecting. but that boy definitely has panic attacks when things get bad.
tamaki is bad at recognizing his feelings, while kyoya is aware of his feelings— but they’re both awful at handling them. tamaki overreacts and kyoya bottles them up. neither of those options is ideal.
