oh em gee you guys!!! happy SEVEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the monster kids au's creation!!
to celebrate this momentous milestone, i spent the last month or so planning out references for the main trio, pulling new ideas as well as a lot of old concepts that i snipped and grabbed pieces from.
my plans for the following year are to really delve into the story and overall plot of the au- something that was always changing and hard to pin down, because it wasn't quite fully formed yet. well, better now than never, ajdnwjdjwjbd :3

Steve and Jim friendship headcanons.
After wizards, Jim and Steve realize how much they have in common and become really good friends.
Jim is first person Steve comes out as Bi to and Jim does everything he can to show his support for him.
Steve asks Jim for dating advice all the time even though he knows Jim doesn't know what he's talking about.
Jim totally thinks he gives the best advice when it comes go dating because of this.
Steve and Jim help rebuild most of Trollmarket while Claire is apprenticing under Douxie and Toby is off with Krel and Aaarrrgghh helping clean Arcadia of the mess it's in.
Steve finds Jim drawing his troll body a few times and finely asks about it.
Jim confesses that he and Douxie have been looking for a way to turn him back.
Steve supports this.
