THE INVESTIGATION
The investigation into the disappearance of Greer Morrison has been officially declared a cold case, leaving students with plenty of questions and no answers to be seen. G has told them that the most recent news is a lie, leaving them wondering if they'd ever know the truth.
Or perhaps it would remain missing with Greer.
OOC; don't forget - if your character wishes to report something officially, they may always do so in an ask to the main. If they saw something they think should be public, but don't want to be the one to report it to the authorities...don't forget they can always send an anonymous tip to the gossip blog.
CAMPUS NEWS
The annual costume contest will be held during the day on Halloween. Dress up in your costumed best and attend the parade for a chance to win prizes !!!
The talented Ogden College Quiz Bowl team is hosting a tournament on Sunday, October 29th. Attend to cheer on the team for what is sure to be an intense competition !!!

KKG'S ANNUAL HAUNTED HOUSE PARTY
WHAT: KKG is notorious for their Haunted House party they throw every year, spooky costumes and actors hired as they turn their chapter house into a haunted house - participation required to get to the actual party.

October and Friday the 13th ?? Sounds like a reason to get your freakiest party on, and starting the Halloween celebrations early - at least, that's what the fraternity brothers of Pike though, making sure to invite as many people as they thought the house could hold. ....And then some.

BREAKING NEWS:
MISSING STUDENT IS A COLD CASE - CAMPUS DEATHS DISMISSED AS UNRELATED
Just about a year after Ogden College student Greer Morrison was declared missing, the news has come that the team investigating her disappearance has said the case is cold. Despite information coming in, they have no further paths to investigate, and will no longer be actively searching for her. This comes at a tulmutous time for the college, with two students having passed away in the past year as well. When questioned, the investigators have said those deaths have been dismissed as unrelated to the disappearance of Morrison, and there is no foul play suspected.
If anyone has any information, they may send tips still.
As the weather started to creep further into fall with a chill in the air, the campus suspiciously calm in the wake of everything that had happened, the news came that was perhaps the last thing any of the students were expecting. THE GOLDEN GIRL was still missing, THE POLLYANNA had been arrested, and those are the fates you'd wish for in comparison to that of THE TEACHER'S PET or THE SIREN. After the threats that had been leveraged at all of them, it seemed...too easy for this all to be dismissed, set aside as if nothing happened.
Of course, they should've known it was too good to be true.
Because, after months of silence....
Phones started to buzz.
g: no foul play ?? do they think THE SIREN really just fell ?? that THE TEACHER'S PET was covered in blood because she froze to death ?? they may say that these are accidents, that THE GOLDEN GIRL just disappeared...
g: well i'm here to tell you they weren't accidents. greer didn't leave because she wanted to.
g: maybe she left because of what i know.
g: maybe she left because .... [check your submits !!!]
g: maybe....you know as well as i that that’s only part of it.
g: but now someone else knows too.
g: ...you didn’t think really i’d spill a secret without telling yours too, did you ??
g: play your cards right and maybe i’ll tell you who you need to watch out for. play them wrong ?? you might be the next to go.

THE INVESTIGATION
With the burning of the commons and THE POLLYANNA arrested - and implied to be G - it seems as if Ogden College has entered this year acting as if nothing is wrong. Despite THE TEACHER'S PET and THE SIREN both meeting their untimely demises, and THE GOLDEN GIRL no closer to being found than she was a year ago, the faculty and investigation seem to be trying their best to act as if that chapter is behind them.
Plenty of students know that's not the case, G having texted them even after THE POLLYANNA had been carted off in cuffs, proving just how easy it is for them to be blamed for something they didn't do, leaving them with no answers and wondering two very serious things....
If they speak up....will they be next ??
And what did G have in store ??

The Fall career fair will be hosted on Tuesday, October 17th, in the event hall. It's highly recommended for students pursuing internships or seniors who are looking to network for their upcoming graduation to attend !!!
