So I haven't really posted a lot since planning that one clue crew virtual gathering (which I still feel bad, ashamed and also guilty for not doing it) but my laptop crashed and I don't think that is a good of an excuse to cancel such a big event but it did crash and I really felt unwell mentally back then not because of the laptop no, but because of personal life matter that was happening back then. But the point is even though it's been almost 2 years since that happened but I really want to apologize for it. because back then I'm pretty sure I was an idiot for rushing it and wanting to do it even though I was having issues myself but I wanted to make everyone happy back then whether you forgive me or not I don't care it's your choice, but I just wanted to apologize and get it off of my chest.

One of the things I love about what I think of as the "Golden Era" of ND games is that they don't spoon feed you every tiny detail. Sure, they make sure that you're aware of the major plot points and over explain some of the important things, but there's a lot of things that are never mentioned and you'll never catch unless you're REALLY paying attention.
For example, in ICE, you can tell from the first conversation you have with Guadalupe that she's lying about why she's at the lodge. She makes a list of all the birds she's observed during her stay, but then if you compare that to the migration charts on the lodge computer, you'll find that a lot of those birds aren't in even Canada during the Winter.
Ergo she's either a very bad bird-watcher orlooking at something else through those binoculars. It's not an important detail, and you eventually find out everything about her anyway, but it's the kind of story building that makes for a really immersive experience and allows you to be the detective, not just follow a story.
