tbh I've always adored your Midna and your interpretation of her and her relation to fire rather than solely to shadows. and I think that's a very unique thing that you bring to her character and yeah there are a bunch of Midnas out there but there's only one version of your Midna and she's amaze

Ahhh. True Form Midna is another one of those characters that I’ve always wanted to draw and never did for no good reason blah blah blah.  More of a sort of casual day for her, cause I didn’t want to obscure most of her with that cloak and draw that ridiculous hair.

          So it’s been two years on this blog. No big deal. I’ve only, I dunno, drastically improved in my writing, met the coolest people on the planet, worked through a whole bunch of personal shit, and had a two-year-long fucking blast screaming into the void of the internet about the Legend of Zelda series. Nothing too interesting. Ha. Chillin like a villain on this blog has brought me a ton of joy and gratitude and just general incredible feelings – it’s hard to put it all into words, because it all just seems unreal. It honestly feels like I started this loser’s blog a few months ago, but nope. It’s been a full twenty four months. A good two years. A fifth of a decade. Hylia help me.

          There is no way I can express the sheer rush of emotions that I have when I think of Link, or Twilight Princess, or the Legend of Zelda series, or this blog. It’s just too much for any one language to handle. But the thing I feel most, I think, is gratitude. Because if people hadn’t supported me from the get-go, if people hadn’t clicked on my blog with the vague notion of interest in their minds, then I never would’ve developed Link to the extent I did. I never would have explored this series to the depths that I did. I never would have found all the friends I have now, if they hadn’t decided to give my little blog a try. So without further ado, I’m gonna go get sappy about the people who have stuck with me since the beginning, and the people who have come along for the ride.

There are so few people who manage to grasp the complexities of a titular, semi-mysterious character like Zelda, but you have always had it spot on. And not only that, but you’re a worldbuilding fanatic. It’s been so great writing wit h you and talking to you, because we make a pretty dynamic duo. I know that if ever I have a wondering about the continuity of the Legend of Zelda series, I can bring it to you to dissect and scream about. And it helps that our characters are matching tragedies.           i’m very attached to my muses. that means, i want to see them grow. i want to see their personalities expand far beyond that which was provided in canon ( or, if they’re an oc, i want to see their personalities cultivate beyond anything i’d ever planned out for them ). i want to be amazed by my muse when they do something i never thought they’d ever do. i want to be surprised. i follow them through their relationships with other muses, i watch them develop. when a muse that my muse cares about disappears, i feel the hit just like my muse does. this is nothing against the other muse, and nothing against the mun. i grow very attached to my muses; they become my best friends. they become a part of me.

     it was a COMMON among monarchs of a kind that questions of power might result .    even with his place as BASILEUS of his own race , and hospodar before that ,  there was much to said about the LEGITIMACY of their rule when orchestrations      might exist beneath their noses seeking to USURP them and undermine all even   the most just of rulers might STAND for . her questions had been met with a great deal of PAST knowledge when the boyari , the nobles , of his own court      sought to USURP and dismantle his work with every fiber of their beings . 

          ‘ do you trust those who advise you , who rule alongside or under ?                 it can make a great deal of difference between being shaken               from your crown than it might be without . ‘

             IT WAS NOT uncommon for MOST to question her rule. Amidst the aftermath of the usurpation that had plagued her, undoubtedly, lied questions as to the authenticity of her monarchy. Where she herself was not worried about said doubts, she DID wish to squelch them, to prove them false.

    Voice would be called HARSH ; hostile, perhaps, had it not been uttered in such a COOL and CALCULATIVE manner. She knows the game all too well, knows getting upset over such a question would only prove her insecure as to the topic of her own judgement —— SHE’S NOT.

CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW THIS APPLIES TO POST-TWILIGHT PRINCESS MIDNA SO MUCH PLEASE. I actually did cry the first time I heard this song and applied it to the muse because the lyrics are so amazingly heartfelt and her voice is so soft but so strong? It reminds me a LOT of end-game Midna tbh. So calm, collected, SERENE in her fashion of leaving the duo in Hyrule. She was utterly graceful and so collected despite likely crumbling inside due to the journey’s end finally hitting her, the realization of what she was about to DO hitting her. She’s FINALLY going home, back to the place she belongs, not only as their restored monarch but FINALLY as herself — in more ways than one. She’s finally comfortable in her original skin, she’s learned so much about herself throughout the journey with Zelda and Link, and through all of it, at least in my opinion she’s become even more compassionate. Definitely an amazing ruler to return to her kingdom. The song is just…all kinds of fitting for her and it means a lot to me so I’m so so SO pleased that you associate it with her as well.
