i like it i just kinda dont care for it emotionally very much. i think gil has done his fair share of abuse and manipulation towards gil but its always that "this is to make you stronger" kind of family abuse. like hes very strict w him and ludwig has learned to crave his approval no matter the situation. their relationship is kind of stumped by the fact its difficult for them to know how to show affection properly but also gil loves ludwig very much and dotes on him as much as he can. hes super protective and always looking out for his little brother and loves him more than anything. same for ludwig tbh
