❛ You know that part of the conversation where I punch you in the neck nine or ten times? We’re coming up on that pretty quick. ❜
❛ No, hell, no. This equipment is total VH1 bro, it’s best of the 80’s. I got something nicer. ❜
❛ No surprises now. ❜
❛ You’re not as useless as you look. ❜
❛ Age of the geek, baby. We run the world. ❜
❛ Yeah, it’s completely safe, it’s just, you know, you might experience nausea, weakness in your right side, stroke, strokiness. ❜
❛ That’s twenty pounds of crazy in a five pound bag. ❜
❛ Ten digit password. I salute you sir. ❜
❛ Every man for himself then. ❜
❛ How many plans do we have? Is there like a Plan M? ❜
❛ It was kind of cool, being on the same side. ❜
❛ Come on, tell the truth. Didn’t you have a little bit of fun playing the Black King instead of the White Knight, just this once? ❜
❛ You better get that gun out of my face or else I’m gonna feed it to you. ❜
❛ Yeah, you seem pretty relaxed for a guy with a gun pointed at him. ❜
❛ That makes me cry inside in my special, angry place. ❜
❛ So unless we get out of here in the next ten minutes we all go to jail. ❜
❛ Don’t you dare. You kill anyone you screw up my getaway. ❜
❛ I don’t trust these guys. ❜
❛ First class tickets to anywhere but here, coming up. ❜
❛ I’m gonna beat [name] so bad that even the people who look like him are gonna bleed. ❜
❛ I was just gonna send a thousand porno magazines to his office, but, hell yeah man, let’s kick him up. ❜
❛ I’m a citizen now. Honest. ❜
❛ You’re playing my side. I always thought you had it in you. ❜
❛ All right, let’s break the law just one more time. ❜
❛ Here comes the mountain of suck. ❜
❛ This is her stage. [name] is the finest actress you’ve ever seen… when she’s breaking the law. ❜
❛ I’m aware that you’re manipulating me ❜
❛ Yeah, you should have just paid us. ❜
❛ I wouldn’t say anything about us to the Feds. Next time we won’t be so nice. ❜
❛ People like that, corporations like that, they have all the money they have all the power and they use it to make people like you go away. Right now you’re suffering under an enormous weight. We provide, Leverage. ❜
❛ He’s cool, I found him on the internet. ❜
❛ You can’t just come in here and get his hopes up! ❜
❛ People don’t just show up to help. That’s not the way the world works. ❜
❛ I don’t like stuff, I like money. ❜
❛ You ID’d the weapon from the gunshot sound? ❜
❛ I just remembered gravity and the squishiness of all my manly bits. ❜
❛ Surely there’s enough war to go around. ❜
❛ Ooh, old school. I found a safe. ❜
❛ Oh I just threw up in my mouth a little bit. I’m a professional criminal and I find that disturbing. ❜
❛ The shooting wasn’t an accident, [name] isn’t a victim he’s a witness. ❜
❛ Play time’s over, it’s only a matter of time before they come after us. ❜
❛ I didn’t sign up for any of this. What I did before, nobody got hurt. ❜
❛ You know you guys called on me. You remember? You begged me to run the crew, ❜ agreed to play by my rules. Now walk out if you have a problem with that. ❜
❛ A man only ever looks a woman in the eye when he’s making the effort to lie to her. ❜
❛ Villains, conmen, wolves in sheep’s clothing. Felt right at home. ❜
❛ I’m sorry it was too far away for you to punch. I’m sure that really frustrates you. ❜
❛ Okay, that’s worth killing for. ❜
❛ Hey, what do you got going on, you and [name], what is it like a creepy contest? ❜
❛ Never thought I’d say this, ever, but that is just way too much money to steal. ❜
❛ No, you’re not gonna steal it. You don’t remember? You’re got the good guys now, you’re gonna give it back. ❜
❛ I’m supposed to believe that you just happened to be here on the day that a couple hundred million dollars in cash goes missing? ❜
❛ The world doesn’t work this way. ❜
❛ Anybody who wants to walk away can do it right now. ❜
❛ Look, he came at you. It’s self-defense. This guy’s a killer. You’re a citizen. It’s open-and-shut. ❜
❛ We’re gonna have a meeting later about how things work around here. ❜
❛ She wants the man who destroyed her family to pay. ❜
❛ Do you have any idea how hard it is, to wait for someone? ❜
❛ Did you say “plumber”? That’s their cover? Oh, that is so cute. It’s like it’s 1978 all over again. ❜
❛ I don’t have to type anything, right? ‘cause you know I just learned the Photoshop thing you told me. ❜
❛ You know, you’re very negative lately. And the sass, it doesn’t help. ❜
❛ Look, hold a knife like this, cuts through an onion. Hold a knife like this, cuts through, like, eight yakuza in 4 seconds. ❜
❛ If there’s a man without a price, I haven’t met him yet. ❜
❛ Oh, see, now, me, I would have just got fat and started up a comic book shop. ❜
❛ Okay, listen, we have a world-class killer here who’s going to I. D. [name], and we are not prepared for this at all. So I am gonna pull the plug. ❜
❛ Have you ever been to Kiev? The cake-maker of Kiev would whup all our ass. This is the butcher. ❜
❛ Is this about fear of the Russian mob, or fear of intimacy? ❜
❛ You just kill a guy with an appetizer? ❜
❛ People who break their promises get what’s coming to them. ❜
❛ I’m sorry. Whatever happened, I know you did everything you could. ❜
❛ We all pay the price. ❜
❛ I had fortune cookies for breakfast. ❜
❛ I was drunk a couple hours ago. Now I’m just hung over. ❜
❛ It’s a bar. I’m blending. ❜
❛ Power doesn’t have to show off. When you have it, you know it. ❜
❛ Right now, are you drunk? ❜
❛ The house is bugged. Now, if I’m right, the equipment is standard-Issue law enforcement. ❜
❛ Is it me, or is he getting creepier? ❜
❛ I know two things about you. You’re trouble, and you’re a drunk. Either one is enough for me not to trust you. ❜
❛ Oh, yeah. He’s definitely getting creepier. ❜
❛ You got to trust me, all right? You’ve trusted me before, and with your life. ❜
❛ I ain’t your daddy. You can drink yourself into a coma as far as I’m concerned, but you take me down with you - then it’s my problem. ❜
❛ Now, don’t you dare give me the “we’re all a family” speech. ❜
❛ Are you threatening to bail on me? ❜
❛ Give me a reason to stay. ❜
❛ If we’re gonna play “happy family,” we should, you know, really get our background straight. ❜
❛ Flying isn’t really all that scary when you think about it. I mean, there are a lot more likely ways to die than on a plane. Car crash, house fire, electrocution, drowning, autoerotic asphyxiation. ❜
❛ I mean, the fact is, death haunts us every day. No matter where we are. ❜
❛ You bailed on the job because you were up all night playing a game? ❜
❛ You can’t skate by on talent and luck forever. ❜
❛ Cayman islands - thieves holiday. Go for the tan, stay for the tax shelter. ❜
❛ If I was important to you, you’d remember. ❜
❛ Oh, yeah, go on. Yeah, walk away. Like you always do. ❜
❛ We tell her there’s a bounty on her head, and she’s gonna lose it. ❜
❛ When I knock people out, they tend to stay knocked out. ❜
❛ You know what – if you were a geek, you would be really turned on right now. ❜
❛ Listen to me! You can do this! I trust you! ❜
❛ No matter how many times you goof off or screw up, you always come through in the clutch. ❜
❛ You’re the only guy I can count on in a situation like this. ❜
❛ You’re gonna remember this one, aren’t you? ❜
❛ Lord, I was so scared, I wanted to cry, call my mama. Y'all cool? Y’all cool? ❜
❛ You guys almost died trying to help me. I wish I could help you. ❜
❛ I wish there was some way I could pay you back for everything you’ve done. ❜

More Human Than Human.
Lonnie is a Nexus-8, originally sent to Calantha as an intel officer for Tyrell Corp's off-world war. Miserable and unable to process the violence, Lonnie hacked themself out of the Nexus-8 database with their credentials, and then fled back to Earth, where they presently try to live among the humans, while also working with the replicant resistance movement as a document forger and hacker.
Quick Facts:
Lonnie works in tech as their day job
Like all Nexus-8s, their right eye has a serial number printed beneath the lower eyelid. Their eyes do glow in the dark similarly to the tapetum lucidum of cats, though this is not necessarily a replicant thing; I'm borrowing this aesthetic choice done in the first Blade Runner movie since I think it's visually very striking
Before the 2022 Blackout, Lonnie was trying to hack the database to remove replicants from it, but had to do so in short, rapid bursts that were often very spaced out from each other, to avoid getting caught
After the 2022 Blackout, with the database destroyed, they continued to work with the resistance, just in other ways
Some Possible Thread Options:
Your muse gives Lonnie a Voight-Kampff test! Whether or not Lonnie passes can be plotted out
Lonnie and your muse meet and begin to develop a friendship/romance. How did they meet? Is your muse also a replicant? If they're not, how would they react to knowing that Lonnie is? If they are, how long do they go without telling Lonnie? Do they clock each other before either says anything? If so, how long is it until both decide to breach the subject?
If your muse is a Blade Runner, what happens when they meet Lonnie? How long will it take for them to figure Lonnie out? What happens once they do?
Our muses get stranded somewhere during a power outage/a public transit breakdown/a storm of some kind. What happens? Do they converse? What about? Were they strangers beforehand?
Philosophical discussion about what makes someone human
Pre-Blackout, if your muse is a replicant, do they need help blending into human society? They could go to Lonnie for forged documents proving their humanity, and advice on disguising their appearance
If your muse is a replicant, are they a different Nexus? What conversation might arise from that?
Feel free to message me with questions and plot ideas aside from these, if anything in this AU sounds fun!
Note: I can also totally do a multiverse thing where we drop Replicant!Lonnie in the middle of the DCU, as well.
