And men lose again...

A friend has started an insta account for her pup. It's a rather cute Boston terrier. Full support. Within a week the account has amassed over a 100 followers. Does not help that a very popular actress has posed a couple of pictures with the dog. At the rate it is headed, it might soon be heading to thousands. And if that continues, who knows, insta might happily award it a blue tick. There has  been an instance of the platform providing a blue tick to a pillow! Kid you not. Men on the other hand don't have it as easy. Unless we are using a lot of grey matter to come up with what could be termed 'compelling content'. Go ahead, try it. If you are a man, you know this is true. What does you picture get you? 10 likes?  Especially if the pictures features only you. In fact, even if the man happens to be a star, a solo pictures is likely to get lesser attention that one that features the star with... his family, or his dog. Such is life. Men just aren't appealing enough. We can't match up to women. We cannot match up to dogs. Heck, we probably can't even match up to well shot food. I have always maintained the biggest democracy in the world is social media. And whatever might be the demographics of this demography, its elites are very well marked. Men are not a part of that. Sure you will fine exceptions. But we know the relationship between exceptions and rules. They say every dog has his day. An no matter how often women say 'Men are dogs', men really aren't. In this new world, women have an era, dogs have their day, but men... well!

For a rather intelligent actor, #SushantSinghRajput's life & afterlife's biggest irony would probably be his fan following, who seems to be increasingly foolish. Their tirade against ITC leaves me astonished. Maybe I should stopped being surprised anymore. #BingoMadAnglesAd

So here we are. Making another attempt at moving away from Twitter. And this time, I am using a new Tumblr profile.

This will not be a dump of insta and blog posts like the earlier. This is where I intend to talk.
