Nothing will ever be funnier to me than the fact that DNB is as canon in George SMP, as DNF is in Dream SMP.

Not to sound like an old fart here but my philosophy about video games is like. A kid living out in the middle of bumfuck nowhere with no internet access for miles should be able to purchase a game from walmart, take that game home, put it in their console, and play the whole game with all of its features and the only thing lack of internet affects is the inability to play online with others. Nothing else. They shouldn't be missing entire chunks of the game becuase they can't download a patch. The game shouldn't be borderline empty or unplayable without a patch.

Some TSOA lines I collected on my reread

We were like gods at the dawning of the world, and our joy was so bright we could see nothing else but the other.
I could recognize him by touch alone, by smell; I would know him blind, by the way his breaths came and his feet struck the earth. I would know him in death, at the end of the world.
When he died, all things swift and beautiful and bright would be buried with him.
I had seen the joy he took in his own skill, the roaring vitality that was always just below the surface. Who was he if not miraculous and radiant? Who was he if not destined for fame?
The never ending ache of love and sorrow. Perhaps in some other life I could have refused, could have torn my hair and screamed, and made him face this choice alone. But not in this one. He would sail to Troy and I would follow, even into death.
You can use a spear as a walking stick, but that will not change its nature.
Fame is a strange thing. Some men gain glory after they die, while others fade. What is admired in one generation is abhorred in another. We cannot say who will survive the holocaust of memory. We are men only, a brief flare of the torch. Those who come may raise or lower us as they please.

are you ever just having a good day when you suddenly remember how achilles was so upset over patroclus’ death that the gods had to intervene, and after achilles fought the river god, the rest of the gods were actually afraid bc in his grief he defeated one of them, and achilles fought everyone possible because he wanted to die because he saw no point in living without patroclus, and when paris’ arrow struck him, he fell to the ground with a smile

HC that Richie had to learn how to dance for a movie role. He surprises the hell out of everyone when he pulls out his best moves at Ben & Bev’s wedding, because he was a massive klutz as a kid. He & Eddie dance for hours.

The first time Richie grows out his beard most of the losers roast him, naturally, because that’s what friends do. But when Eddie first sees the beard he gets really quiet and flushed all of a sudden, and discreetly crosses his legs.
Yessss, I have this HC that Richie started growing out his hair (usually wearing it up in a ponytail)+growing a beard when he was in his mid 20's. And yes, it does a lot of things for Eddie 👀👀👀
