Don’t sell my mods.

Didn’t think I would ever have to do this, but here I am.

In case you don’t remember me, hi, I am formerly Luke Teth of the ES/EQ/Cavaletti/I don’t even know anymore — The TS3 horse community. You may know me for the various HD mods I made, or really any number of CC I made, I don’t really remember it all, but the HD mods were the big and popular ones. I’m no longer active within these communities by any means, but I know my mods and custom content are still out there being used by the folks who are. That’s great! That genuinely makes me happy to know that people are still enjoying what I made, even if I’m no longer in the community or directly engaging with it.

HOWEVER.

It’s been brought to my attention that there’s been an instance of someone using my HD mods as a base for theirs, and then locking it behind a Patreon paywall. Upon investigating, I confirmed this is true (I can always tell when someone is using my HD mod as a base). This is completely unacceptable to me, as someone who always kept my content free and my TOU pretty loose in terms of restrictions.

I am fine if you edit my CC. I am fine if you use it as a base to make your own CC. I am very much not okay with you editing my content or using it as a base for yours, and then profiting off of that resulting content. Sure, it’s transformative, but it’s still using my content without my explicit permission for financial gain. I never made a single cent of money off what I did for the community, and I never did it with the expectation of making money. So why should you? I don’t know, it just makes me really sad to think about this. I really can’t believe this even happened.

So TL;DR, respect the creators you use content from, even if we aren’t active anymore. We will find out. We always do. And please never sell anything I made for your own profit, even if you’ve edited it. I learned to make my textures from scratch; so can you.

Also, consider this carte blanche to edit any of my CC to make your own, I know people have tried to contact me previously via this Tumblr about that, but obviously, it has not been checked in a while. Just don’t sell it, profit off it, etc. That’s all I ask. Credit would be nice, but since I’m not really around anymore that doesn’t really matter as much.

I hope nobody is buying this, 30 a month is RIDICULOUS! Paying for cc in general makes no sense either but this is just too much. Yet sims 4 creators wonders why their content is being reuploaded/shared for free? Cause of mess like this being pulled. If you ever see a content creator charging this much and more, do not buy it and do not join. I don’t care how much you are getting, the post is locked and buyer can’t determine what they are getting since your not able to see what it is. This also problematic with s4 creators, you can’t have these crazy prices then not show what your customer is purchasing. Almost every online store has a preview/picture of the item they have listed. This to help the buyer know what they are getting so they don’t end up with the wrong item or just pure garbage. Please make a stand and tell the cc pro patron community enough and to get he’ll out of this community. Create for fun not to profit off each other.

y'all can’t antagonize ppl like this offline because you would get duffed out at the target parking lot of your choice but we gotta deal with it here.

It was often mentioned how Benedict was one the lost boy of the Rosella family; a wild man of the mountains who only heard the call of his heart searching for that something to be his; something to make him feel loved and safe. Nowadays he was affectionately referred to as the tamed kitty cat who went along with each of Demet’s terrifying ideas and schemes knowing full well that his life would never again be calm or peaceful.

“Yes,” She shrugged her shoulders, still unsure why it was a problem. “There’s a training clinic, I want to take Vulcan. And of course Ayse…”

“Of course she needs to go too.” He was only too well aware that Demet and her best friend were far too close and safety blankets for each other; he was still mildly surprised she hadn’t invited Ayse to live with them. Yet.

“Well, we’re going anyway,” Demet stirred the mug of hot chocolate failing to keep her hands from feeling the bitter English wind that evening as they stood huddled around Caramel’s stable. “You should come too!”

At least she remembered to invite me this time, he smiled to himself.

Mountainous World part1

I really don't have much to say for this, other than that while I haven't been much in-game lately, I just opened this world today for the first time in 4 months and took some random pictures of it... Suddenly I have the motivation to fix up my facilities and finish the world. I think I forgot how much I loved it. All you can see are mountains and fields as far as the eye can reach. That's the true definition of heaven for any equestrian simmer. Isn't it?  I guess I’m back at it, again.
