Looking for dinosaur/bug media recs!
So I've been enjoying indulging in my old childhood hyper-fixations. It has been very healing for my neuro-divergent self to re-engage in these interests that I use to be made fun of for because they were "childish" or "creepy." Admittedly most of my knowledge is drawn from childhood so it's all very out of date and I've been trying to brush up on more modern ideas of dinosaurs / bugs. If anyone knows any books, tumblr accounts, youtube channels etc where I can consume up to date dinosaur/bug content that would be very much appeciated. :)

Faust the Hornet
A short summary of her story: “Faust was raised as an heir to the hive, however her disinterest in spawning a new generation of bees was disliked by the majority of the workers resulting in her sister taking up the role instead. As is tradition the other heirs would be sacrificed to the new queen but Faust proved slippery and managed to escape the assassination. Now a fugitive in disguise as an ant, Faust has to find a new family while trying not to get killed by the old one.”

RIDICULOUS. this was so big that even with tumblr's recently expanded image limit i still had to weld every other image together to fit it into one post, but if you want to see every image in its full glory, i made a page for it on my website (jankily hand-coded and probably not very mobile friendly).
it was so fun to see which elements stuck around and for how long. i still can't believe the skeleton got banished and then resurrected 15 iterations later!
