Hey y’all, I’m a little low on cash at the moment. So any commissions or just boosting my name would be great right about now!

Made some final adjustments but my Bayojeanne piece is finally done! Happy pride month to these two specifically:)
The flowers in the window are called moonflowers which bloom at night and are symbols of romantic love which I thought was fitting. Bayonetta 2 had a deleted scene where these two kissed I saw it in the files trust me

Bayo 2 is my favorite. She's the sexiest and coolest, I still can't get over her hair cut too sexy. Bayonetta 2 has the best ending ever. I'm glad the muitverse exist so bayo 2 can relax with jeanne and buy dresses that untimely get ruin by angels.

A summary post of all the design I made so far for my Bayonetta AU
Esperanza Locura is an elf who come from the world of Ezis to earth to learn how to master the darks and light art practiced on earth ,in order to save her people from a war who's swallowing her country of origin: Lybrion. She can make pact with both angel, demons and gods and her arrival in Vigrid is perceived as a threat by lumen sages, who barely tolerate her presence. The umbra witches on the other side are happy to see the lumen sage being scared of their new pupil. Since she's able to use light and dark art, she's send to the lumen training ground where she experience harassment from the sages until she finally show that she's able to summon the Laguna angels. Her summoning of the angel Beauty, a rare being who never answer call from any sage, blow the lumen's sage mind and they're forced to admit that Esperanza is a powerful mage.
Monsieur Thanatos is a demon with whom she made a pact, after finding an advanced book in the umbran libraries about ritual who teach how to summon him.

I’m sick and tired of braindead Bayonetta “fans” who say bs like: “Bayonetta was never supposed to be gay” Or “Bayonetta and Jeanne were never queer-coded”
Ok, then explain this *official art* by Kamiya and Shimizaki a.k.a the creators of Bayonetta

You can’t.

I love how Bayonetta and Jeanne switched hairstyles in the second game. They’re always matching and it’s such an adorable little detail<3

Bayonetta 2 is all about Love
The parallel emotions and reactions in these two scenes is so romantic. They’re so much the same, and so much different.

Before Jeanne rescues Cereza in Bayonetta 1, she declares to Balder that she is there for her Umbran Sister (much like Cereza says the same to Alarune [I forgot how to spell her name, so cut me some slack if it’s misspelled]).
But her motivations are also different. Jeanne rescues Cereza because Cereza is the world’s hope. She’s the hero of the human plane of existence. Bayonetta’s life is more precious than Jeanne’s desires, whether that desire be for Bayonetta, or to live, or even for power. (Again, the self-sacrifical Jeanne I always refer to. Her character is very much about sacrifice at her own expense.)
Still, when they reach out to each other, finger tips just barely missing as Jeanne floats away, we the players are reminded that there is a relationship there. That these two women care for each other, and would like to be with one another, in whatever form that may be.
The second scene, in Bayonetta 2, is all about that. There is no other purpose to Bayonetta rescuing Jeanne except for love. Just like there was no other purpose to Jeanne pushing Cereza out of harm’s way, except for love.
Luka’s journal entry, Taboo, is always the clearest indicator of Bayonetta’s motivations for rescuing Jeanne in 2. It is a direct reference to the women’s situation, and he transparently references the fact that in order for one to defy a seemingly insurmountable faith, an immense amount of love must be involved.
“The desire to be with the one you love.”
Bayonetta cannot lose this woman. Bayonetta loves this woman.
And, no matter how many different ways certain people might want to deny it, number 2 spells out Bayonetta’s motivation as being love. I don’t care what kind of love you interpret it as; platonic, familial, romantic. The bottom line is that Bayonetta’s motivation for 2 is love.
This is further emphasized and parallelled by Balder’s motivations. The entirety of Balder’s vindictive actions are spurred by his love for Rosa. Throughout 2, we are spectators to two parallel romantic storylines, where love is the main driving factor that pushes two different characters.
This point would have only been made stronger had Balder’s story been playable. And I wish it had been. It would have been a powerful storytelling tool, and an interesting perspective.
I will say that, while love might be an extremely basic, overused driving force in storytelling, it’s usage in 2 is important to Bayonetta’s characterization. Number 1 is all about her and reclaiming her past. Number 2 is all about exploring the quiet things we have to look hard to see in this character. The aspects that are buried under defensive humor and reflective banter.
This storyline gave depth to Bayonetta as a person beyond the racy facade she puts on. It directs us to her more human, more vulnerable emotions. We see the break in her persona once when she believes Jeanne has died, again when she is confronted with Rosa’s death for a second time, and yet again when Balder sacrifices himself for humanity. In all three cases, this break in her carefully crafted personality is deeply due to the love she has for these three people.
Anyway, take a shot every time love is mentioned.
