Noah’s less than thrilled to have returned to work - he’s grateful to be at the hotel, but the job... not so much. He was coming back from a quick bathroom break when he sees a guest struggling at the door, quickly making his way over and starting to pick up the bags. “You’re here for the long haul, aren’t ‘cha?” He asks, moving to the nearby bag cart, starting to stack things up until there were no bags remaining. “Are you checked in yet?” 

Colton gripped his crutch tightly as he pushed the door open, juggling his bags in the process. He sighed as he looked around the lobby, watching the people moving about their day. It wasn’t ideal, living in an hotel. But at this point, he didn’t have much choice at this point.  Colton grunted as he bags fell out of his hand and on the the ground. He crouched down awkwardly, trying to pick up his spilled items.

he’s tired, he’s worn out, he’s drained - but god he’s happy to be out of california. his family nearly ate him alive when he got back, seeing as he’d been away for so long - and the holidays were a bit mandatory to return for. especially when your mother books your flight and tells you when dinner begins. now finally back to his suite, a much larger and tuckered out pippa curled in her bed, noah begins to unpack. he’s interrupted by a knock at the door, sluggishly moving to the door. when he opens it, he gives a small smile. “hey, whatsup?”

Pffff, wayyy too often. Noah was a reckless child in college and his parents were constantly yelling at him growing up. 

what color do you associate your muse with? is it the same as their favorite color?

I associate Noah with red? Idk why? Because like his favorite color is blue? So, I don’t know why red pops up but it does.

noah: .... perhaps. depends on the type of cookie.

 He’d needed this - a day away from the city, the malnati, his phone and the damn emails. So he was beyond happy to catch up with a old friend, and get away from the world for a minute. Now sat idly on the lake, waves lapping against the boat with a beer in his hand and some music playing lower in the background, Noah stands from his spot. He opens a bottle and offers it to the brunette before getting himself one for him. “I can’t believe we ran into each other again.” He snickers, smiling at the other. He’d had a few drinks before Beau had arrived, but not enough to leave him unable to get the boat out. Now it was about relaxing, breathing and just catching up. “You like her?” He asks, referring to the boat with a bit a smirk. “Took me a while to pick out the model but... I think I made the right choice yeah?” He asks as Pippa comes from the cabin with a toy in her mouth. He chuckles and reaches down and one handedly plays with her. “It covers the bases, I just wanted something that could do it all for friends and family... when they come around to the idea.”

noah had just gotten off of his night shift when venice came in, and he had been finishing up changing out of his work outfit that needed cleaned, which was why he’d changed in the break room. “um.. order one?” he quips, pulling the blue t-shirt over his head. “im no doctor but sleeping seems to cure the issue you’re having. if you want a doctors opinion i’d just ask joey.” he finishes off with a quick slip of his feet into boots before following her out of the room. “you’re asking me, i just came off a night shift and now i get to go walk my dog and do my workout routine. and then i get to go back to work at 4. we love it.” 

even though it was a friday, it still felt like a monday to the raven haired girl. the week had dragged on like no other, and she was starting to really feel all of the missed hours of her precious beauty sleep. “what’s a girl gotta do to get a decent cup of coffee around here?” venice asked with a frustrated sigh, plopping the mug she had used down onto the counter before walking out of the malnati break room. “i swear, not even my hundred dollar eye cream is saving me from these less than designer eyebags,” she pointed to her face in a dramatic fluster, “tell me you’ve got a solution or something before i lose it, honey.”

Noah hadn’t been sure why the short woman had looked at him like that, but he’s just nodded and done his job. When he’d returned from taking up her bags he moves to get a water bottle from the bar, before watching the somewhat familiar face speak to him. He knew the dude seemed to care about his staff, so when he turns to him finally Noah raises an eyebrow. “What was that all about?” 

“I’m sure you have your reasons Mrs Landon, but I will not have you talk to my staff like that.” Max responded in a cool calm way as an older lady ranted to him. It was his first day and already he had a woman demanding that one of his staff be fired for looking at her in the wrong way. After managing to calm the lady,  Max walked away from her with a sigh and an eye roll. He could deal with a lot of things, but he wouldn’t stand for his staff to be mistreated.  Max made his way into the bar area to get to the ranting old woman a complimentary glass of champagne and then shook his head. “ Would you believe that I have been working here for less then an hour and already I have chaos and drama.” He rolled his eyes and poured a glass of champagne for the guest and then smiled as the yoda heighted old lady appeared next to him demanding the glass. “ Here you go Mrs Landon, you have a lovely day now.” He said  with a smile and watched her walk away. “ Jesus Christ that was close.” he sighed.

✘: Who do they detest the most? Do they typically avoid this person or antagonize them?

Noah’s not normally one for antagonizing but - as we all know, his relationship with his pops isn’t the best. So to an extent he will taunt and annoy him about things just to get on his nerves because Noah feels like ‘he already hates me I can only test that limit.’

Is Halloween your favorite holiday? If not, what is? // If you could be anything for Halloween, what would you be?

“Halloween is okay. It’s not my favorite, but it beats things like Valentine’s Day for sure. I think Thanksgiving and Christmas tie up just because - food. Again, not a big Halloween person, but I was Deadpool which was killer so.”
