Mychee, LE Witch
“Using gendered slurs is dumb no matter the situation, but...I do not even HAVE a gender, so it is doubly so in my case!”
- Mychee, just after dodging a crossbow bolt (and several rude curses)
Mychee, a Numerian who recently fled the country, is moving east across the Hold of Belksin towards the free lands of the River Kingdoms. As they travel, they seek to learn more about themselves and what it means to be human. They need the practice.
Mychee is an android, but hides their nature due to a history of exploitation. They wear a shapeless red robe over their adventuring gear, black leather gloves that cover their forearms, and a featureless white mask, through which can only be seen the soft glow of their eyes. Mychee believes this outfit will draw less attention and suspicion than the faintly visible lines of circuitry common to androids on Golarion. They may or may not have an inaccurate sense of their appearance.
While traveling from Numeric, Mychee encountered the bog spirit known as the Mosquito Woman. Either not knowing of the dangers of a pact, or uncaring, Mychee pledged their service to her mysterious goals. In return, Mychee believes she will eventually transfigure Mychee and turn them into a fully flesh and blood human.
Mychee is not an overly-logical android, free of emotion. Part of what makes playing Mychee so fun is their curiosity, occasional naiveté, and sensitivity. The way that they see themselves in the world is so flawed, but it has resulted in someone who reaches out to those around them, always looking for some way to help. You’d mistake them for a righteous crusader for the downtrodden...so long as you overlooked their willingness to feed the occasional live human to a swarm of mosquitoes.
