Xerneas was struck with awe. Thought from the way it was described, it seemed similar to a different regional holiday. “That’s.. amazing, actually. Humans.. communities taking their lives seriously. Giving respect to the ancient, wishing upon good fortune, owning up to their evil deeds. That is a rare breed all on it’s own.”

The deer scratched her head softly, trying to wrap her mind around it all. It does make sense, just human traditions were not her strong suit. “Do.. you make an appearance to the townsfolk in your natural form? Or do you rather leave the people to their hopes of seeing your blessings?” Personally, she had never seen Ho-Oh’s true self with her own eyes. Knowing full well that it is truly a sight to see. Of course the woman has always known what the resurrection being looked like from novels, magazines, even from the brod details from people.

“It really is something, isn’t it?” It’s why New Year’s was his favorite holiday. There was a large sense of community for those few days. Everyone came together to celebrate. 

Ho-Oh scratched the side of his face, taking a moment to remember. “Sometimes,” he’d answer, “I haven’t done it for close to five years now...” Maybe Ecruteak was due for a grand appearance. His brilliance was amazing on it’s own, but in the darkness of night? He could illuminate the entire city in hues of rainbows and opalescent colors. It’d be breathtaking. “Do you think I should make an appearance this year?”

“The leaves will be changing in the rest of the city soon.” Even if Bellchime Trail sported fall colors all year round, oddly enough. Seeing all of Ecruteak bathed in warm colors was truly a sight to behold.
