For context, i made a post about my distaste for some westerners wanting censorship for ao3, I believe the system is already good enough and further censorship especially that adhering to government is very concerning.
I receive too damn many harassment from anon but then just today i got more from people who are not even hiding behind anon. First of all, I'm not even a person who agree with all ship, I can't even write same age 18 years old having sex without feeling kinda weird about it
I made a post about my grievance with the harassment that I got over one damn ao3 post and what did I get?
That up there is pretty new and kinda triggering tbh I'm pretty much shaking rn because I did try to kill myself with that method at some point

MYTHOLOGY MEME || OTPs (1/5) ↬Zhinü and Niulang
In Chinese mythology, Zhinü (織女) was the seventh daughter of the goddess Xi Wangmu (西王母) famous for her beautiful weaving whereas Niulang (牛郎) was a cowherder. In some versions of their story, Zhinü and Niulang are separated because Niulang is a mortal whereas Zhinü is divine and Zhinü’s mother does not approve of their love for each other. In other versions, Xi Wangmu does not disapprove of her daughter’s love for Niulang, but is instead angry that both of them have been spending so much time together that that they’ve been neglecting their duties as a weaver and cowherder, respectively. The latter version is the one most prominent in Korea and Japan where they are known as Jiknyeo (직녀) and Gyeonwu (견우) or Orihime (織姫) and Hikoboshi (彦星).
Despite the many versions of their story, all of them agree that Zhinü and Niulang were separated and put on opposite sides of the Silver River (the Milky Way galaxy). They can only meet once a year, on the 7th day of the 7th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. On that day every year, a flock of magpies and crows takes pity on the lovers and form a bridge across the river so that they can be together. This day is celebrated in China, Korea, and Japan and is roughly equivalent to the European Valentine’s Day. This festival is called the Qixi (七夕節) in China, Chilseok (칠석) in Korea, and Tanabata (七夕) in Japan.
