Taylor is such a huge part of my life. She has been there for me constantly and her music makes me stay alive. I could never thank her enough for being the most amazing human being in this whole world. I love her to death and I will always always stand by her side. She is my strength, inspiration and hope. Whenever I feel any sort of emotion- positive or negative- I turn to her music. Tied together with a smile has honestly gotten me through so much and I don't know if I will ever be able to thank her.
I have been to the speak now tour, red tour and 1989 tour . Hopefully I'll be able to tell her how much she means to me and my sister. She is honestly like a big sister to me and I look up to her for so many amazing reasons. I will never forget her as long as I live (see what I did there ;) ) anyways- this blog is a way for me to attempt to show her and the world just how much I love her.

“Exile was a song that was written about miscommunications in relationships, and in the case of this song I imagine that the miscommunications ended the relationship - that they led to sort of the demise of this love affair. And now these two people are seeing each other out for the first time and they keep miscommunicating with each other, they can’t quite get on the same page, they never were able to. So even in their end, even after they’ve broken up they’re still not hearing each other, so we imagined that the beginning of it would be his side of the story, second verse would be her side of the story, and then the end would be sort of them talking over each other and not listening to the other, sort of like an argument. Yeah, I’m really stoked about how it turned out because it really does seem like this sort of tragedy of two people, two ships passing in the night.”
