Gustav Nyquist with the game winner! Damn what a helluva game! It almost felt like a game 7 cup finals game. Gotta give the Ducks credit. They are a good squad. Series shifts to Hockeytown now. Go Wings!

Bigger Bust
Well I gotta know since draft day is just around the corner, who the biggest bust is. Now I'm not talking from the NFL draft, even though that would make sense. I'm talking about former Ohio State players. The football players who were "ballers" in high school but were duds in college. Or they had one great season but didn't pan out through the next few seasons. I have a few candidates off the top of my head: Justin Zwick: Yeah remember him? The QB after Krenzel but before Troy? The guy was hyped out of high school, but failed on the big stage, losing the starting job to future Heisman winner Troy Smith Ray Small: Could of been a dangerous receiver but his ego and grades kept him from being a standout. Not to mention he was in Tressel's dog house a lot Joe Bauserman: The former minor league pitcher turn QB. What more can I say, the kid was a bust ever since he was linked to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Yes Bauserman, you are a bust. High expectations and Pryor leaving put the spotlight on you and what did you do? Throw the ball out of bounds. Duron Carter: The son of former Ohio State wide receiver, Cris Carter, played only one season before transferring. Dropped passes and low grades kept him from playing a lot. Was ineligible for the 2010 Rose Bowl. This making him a bust Jaamal Berry: The speedy running back out of Florida rarely seen the field of play due to depth at the running back position and if seemed like he didn't want to improve his work ethic to compete for the starting job. Due to that coach Urban Meyer kicked him off the team. Such high hopes for him... BUST That's my list, I'd love to hear who you think are big time busts, doesn't have to be at Ohio State, could be anywhere.

In times of hardship a nation puts aside differences to come together. We've seen it during 9/11. We've seen it during Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, The Denver Movie theater shootings, and Super Storm Sandy just to name a few. We put aside the fact that we may be white, black, Asian, or Hispanic, rich or poor and we all come together as one. We find comfort in each other, music, or sports. We set aside rivalries to help those in need. So on today Sunday April 21st 2013, I will have a moment of silence for all the victims injured and those who've perished from such tragic events.

Love having a day off and not being able to sleep the night before and it's raining and having a pen and paper. Catching up on some song writing.

What does the Fab Five and the 2013 Michigan team have in common? No ring, seriously, no one remembers second place. Just like everyone already forgot FGCU, and Wichita State. And here's a lil tip for for your coach, don't talk about cutting down the nets until you're up by like 10 with 10 seconds left and the other team takes a "lets drag out the pain of losing" timeout. Not during your pregame speech. And see ya Hardaway, Robinson, and Burke. And see ya Michigan's one year relevance in Men's hoops

Happy Birthday Paul Dedrick Gray.                                              ~08-04-13~ Although I never had the privilege to meet you or see you play, I still felt like I did. You inspired me and thousands of other kids around the world with your words and the way you played. You truly made Slipknot grow into what they are today. Your passing was tragic, but no matter what the circumstances may be, you  will forever be in all of our hearts. The band, your friends, your family and your fans will never forget you. You really made a positive impact in all of our lives. We all hope you are having an amazing time up there celebrating your 41st birthday with all your fellow angels, having an amazing time. From all the maggots, thank you. Thank you for forming such an amazing band, for being someone that people could look up to, for loving each and every one of your fans. We all appreciate everything you ever did. You were such a hero Paul, and for that you will always be remembered. But above that, you were a legend, and legends never die. Stay (sic)

My three year old niece
Jillian: Uncle Nick, what you listening to?
Me: *pulls off my headphones* I'll tell you after you listen to it for a second
Jillian: Sure
Me: You like that Jillian?
Jillian: Yeah, who sing this song?
Me: Slipknot
Jillian: I like them
Me: Better than Bieber?
Jillian: *shakes her head up and down fast*
So there is still hope for humanity

(Just to remind you I work at a dollar store)
Me: Just the card for ya today?
Customer: Yeah *digging through her purse*
Me: Okay, your total comes to fifty three cents
Customer: *pulls out a $100* wait a minute... I think I have three pennies
Me: I'd appreciate it if you could find fifty cents too, because I do not have the change for that
Customer: *looks at me offended* you're a store, you're supposed to have enough change.
Me: Ma'am we run out if bills because people pay for their $1-$10 items with large bills, we have to ask for smaller. I want to speak to a manager
