Oh I really do enjoy how the 2020s are shaping up to be a lot like the 1920s. You get a generation of lost kids that grew up during a war. They reject their parents conservative attitudes. The youth has created a resurgence of Dadaism and Nihilism that the older generations don’t understand. An artistic boom replacing the materialistic tendencies of our parents. The queer community is thriving in a way that it hasent been in years. Activism and socialist ideologies are on the rise again. How wonderful. It makes me want to go to Paris and be the next Gertrude Stein

◇16th July 2017◇
I know it’s the holidays and I should be resting but I really wanted to get started with my A Level work so I have begun looking through one of my Literature texts, The Great Gatsby. Our teacher doesn’t seem to like text books or some note websites as they are only general so for now I’m using them to learn about characters, setting, themes etc so I can work more in depth in September rather than starting from scratch.
Don’t worry, I am resting too, I’m writing this out whilst sat by the pool!

If this were any other ship, I’d say “Write me an AU where these two idiots live next door and spy on each other through their windows for months until one of them finally gets up the guts to invite the other to a party.” It’s Natsby, though, so that’s canon.
I mean, I’d still take a fic about it though.
Anyways this is the first photoset I’ve ever made! Did I do it right? I tried my best, but it’s nothing very fancy. Just some basic color adjustments and fun arrangement of screencaps. :) Natsby is my main OTP.
