Vuelta a Burgos Feminina begins on Thursday! Last year Demi Vollering (SD Worx-Protime) took home the castle trophy, and she's presumably the favorite this year (complete team rosters haven't been announced yet) but she'll have some stiff competition.
The 2022 winner, Juliette Labous (dsm-firmenich PostNL), will likely want another crack at it, and she looked good in La Vuelta Feminina.
But wait! FDJ-Suez just teased "GUESS WHO'S BACK?" The answer, of course, is everyone's favorite unfiltered interviewee, Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig, who has been out with a fractured sacrum for the past three months after her crash in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Uttrup-Ludwig gets back in the saddle today at at the Basque one-day race, Durango-Durango.
Uttrup-Ludwig could be a very dangerous contender, particularly in combination with fellow climber Evita Muzic and time-trialist Grace Brown, who has really wowed us this years so far. We're definitely excited to see who the teams chose to send to Burgos, and to watch the action in this race!
