After living in this state all my life, I somehow just now had my first chance to spend a day hanging around in downtown Concord.

The last time we visited New Hampshire, we took a ton of reference photos of the setup everyone staying with us used to make coffee... I loved the coffee-making method so much that we found one of the coffee pots and now that's how we make it at home! It takes up a lot less space on the countertop, that's for sure...

Making and serving coffee with everyone is one of my favorite parts about visiting, so I wanted to make a little dedication. I also wanted to practice vector-based illustrations... I'm starting to really enjoy the process ^_^

Guys! Pete Seeger was at the protests against the Seabrook nuclear power plant in 1977! I personally pro nuclear power, but Pete Seeger is a wonderful musician, and a personal hero of mine, so I think its really cool that he was involved in New Hampshire politics.

i don’t share a lot of change.org petitions but the CSO (combined sewer overflow) problem that’s largely exclusive to New England is hugely detrimental both to the public and to the wildlife that lives there; the heavy pollution is a huge part of why so many fish species like the Atlantic salmon haven’t been able to successfully return to spawn. i hugely recommend you sign this petition, whether you live in New England or not, by going here!

Manchester NH is in the process of building, or has completed 2,288 new housing units, including 369 affordable housing units. I'm starting to get hopeful that New England could actually become affordable enough to live in within our lifetime.

There will be new housing in boston and prices will come down and there is a bubble that is starting to burst in terms of housing prices that will move people off the rental market and into condos and houses further reducing demand and pulling prices down and none of it is happening fast enough

I want to be able to afford a goddamn apartment for fucks sake.
