Stay the Night | Jeno
Summary: fluff, drabble, bf!jeno convinces you to stay the night with him

a/n: Happy Jeno Day! 💚
“So soft, baby.” Jeno says, sleepily running his hands through your hair. Your eyes close intuitively at his sweet touch that you loved more than anything. You snuggle closer to him, breathing him in, his familiar cologne he wears exclusively when he’s around you.
You both know what time it is, that you'll have to go home soon, but you choose to ignore that fact, relishing in each other's presence for as long as you could. It wasn’t until you felt your eyelids grow heavy and you began to fall asleep that you knew you had to actually go home. “Jeno, I gotta go.” You say, trying to pry your boyfriend's arms off of you.
At first Jeno ignores you, tightening his grip around your waist and pulling you closer. “Jenoo, you can’t pretend to not hear me so that I’ll stay longer.”
At this Jeno's eyes open and he gives you a pout. “I don’t want you to just stay longer, I want you to stay the night.”
You give him a pout back, “Stay the night?”
He nods his head, resembling a puppy. You play with his hands as you try and make a decision. “I mean.. I could stay here tonight.” You say and Jeno's eyes light up, “But you have to promise me that you’ll let me leave early so that I can make it to my class tomorrow morning.”
“I promise I won’t try to convince you to skip class and stay in bed with me like I did the last time, baby.” You can tell he’s sincere in his promise, so you let all your worries of tomorrow fade away as he pulls you back into his arms. You always did manage to get the best night's sleep whenever you were with him, and tonight was no different.

Mark Lee ; when you're running towards him with a smile.
It was the autumn season in Korea. Mark was waiting by the park, just outside a coffee shop where you two agreed to meet. It didn't take a while for you to arrive, calling your boyfriend's name making him turn around. He was stunned. His mind went blank. Seeing you running towards him, smiling and looking pretty in your autumn clothes felt as if he was struck by cupid. "Oh." He realized. Because the moment you're standing in front of him had Mark's mind in haze. He doesn't know what to say, but all he knows is that he's lucky to have you.
Huang Renjun ; when you take care of him because he was sick.
"You know you don't need to do this," Renjun said. You only looked at him, smiling as you lightly cup his cheeks. "But I want to." you said before leaving him to get something from the kitchen. Renjun stared at his ceiling. It was quiet and all his mind was blurry because one: he's sick. and two: you were willing to take care of him. He couldn't help but to let out a sigh. His cheeks are heating up and he wonders was it because of you or maybe he's just sick. But whatever it was, all he knows is that he doesn't want to let go of you.
Lee Jeno ; when he had the best sleep next to you.
Jeno realized that it was morning when the sun peeked through the curtains of your windows. As he opens his eyes, not only was he blinded by the light, but also by the thought that he slept throughout the night. Lately, he's having sleepless nights, worries and anxiety hovering him and leaving him awake at night. This was the first time he probably felt at ease enough to sleep peacefully, and as he turns around and sees you still asleep, Jeno was in dazed. "Oh." he thought. Wanting more mornings where he wakes up next to you.
Lee Donghyuck ; when you were laughing out loud because of him.
It was a group dinner and yet it seems like you and Haechan are in your own world. Haechan continued cracking jokes and commenting witty remarks about his co-members, and you couldn't help but to burst into laughter. You were laughing so hard that you could only hold onto Haechan as you tried to compose yourself. That's when Haechan unknowingly smiles, a proud grin because you were laughing because of him. He wants to see you and your gummy smile while your laughter is a music to his ears, and he wants it because of him.
Na Jaemin ; when he thinks that this is a second chance.
You and your groupmates were supposed to meet for a project, but only Jaemin showed up. It was awkward since he's your ex-boyfriend. While waiting for the others, the rain suddenly poured. You were forced to seek shelter at the park's gazebo along with Jaemin. You were a bit wet when you two reached the gazebo. You couldn't help but to let out a sigh, because you're stranded with Jaemin. As you try to dry yourself Jaemin couldn't help but to steal glances at you. It's been a year and yet Jaemin can still feel his heart beating for you. He couldn't help but to touch your arms, you were startled, but Jaemin remained unfazed, thinking that this is another chance for him to correct everything.
Zhong Chenle ; when you cried because of him.
Your tears never stopped when you reached the university's clinic. Chenle sat on the bed, but it is obvious that his situation is bad because his ankle is wrapped with bandage. You couldn't help but cry louder, witnessing how bad the injury Chenle had during the match. Chenle tries to laugh it off, but the moment he saw that you were crying because he wasn't taking care of himself, he couldn't help but feel guilty. He reaches for you and you gave him a bone-crushing hug. "Oh." he realized. He shouldn't make you worry anymore.
Park Jisung ; when you disappeared for a day.
Twenty missed calls and almost fifty messages. It's been a day since you ghosted everyone. Jisung was worried about you. He knows how school's been shitty for you and with you being unresponsive, he couldn't help but to be concerned with you. What's his purpose if you couldn't lean onto him? He tried to look for you everywhere, you're not in your dorm or even in your friends' place. As Jisung ran around the campus area, his eyes catches a familiar figure by the field. It was late night and immediately, he rans. Jisung almost cried in joy to see you, then he started nagging you, telling you how worried he is and why did you suddenly disappeared!? You weren't able to answer because Jisung hugs you tightly, showing you that he wouldn't let you leave him again.

"See if you and your partner are compatible," Jeno said out loud. You only looked at him with curiosity. You closed your book and then proceeds to lay next to him, in which he wraps his arms around you with ease.
You watch your boyfriend tapped answers on the online quiz. You watched as his forehead creased with the most random question.
"Babe what's your zodiac sign?" he asked, you only muttered your answer and you watched him type your and his zodiac sign.
"Your compatibility is 21 percent --- okay, it's not reliable," Jeno closes his phone and shifted his attention to yours.
"Oh no, what can we do about it?" you teased.
"No, don't rely on it, it's not real, we're compatible," your boyfriend said.

You were surprised to see Mark waiting for you in the living room. After a week of not talking to each other because of a huge misunderstanding, Mark became a ghost to you. Barely in the house and not even sleeping in the bed with you. He stands up, lets out a sigh and looks at you, "Let's fix this," you can sense in his tone that he's tired. He looks at you sincerely, waiting for your response whether or not, you're on the same page as him. "Okay," you simply said, nodding to give assurance to your husband.
Huang Renjun
"I don't want this to be longer," Renjun blurted out. You two are having a dinner together even though you're not talking to him for almost a week. You stared at him, and you can see that he's desperate for you. The fight was intense and for the duration of the week, you two are walking on eggshells whenever each other are near. "Please love?" he pleaded. You only stared at him, reaching for his hands as you only look at him a small smile, giving him a small nod.

"Jeno, what are you doing here?" you asked. He's standing in front of the doorsteps of the guest room --- which is where you've been staying for almost a week. Your husband only stared at you, there's longing in his eyes and your heart started beating fast. "I'm sorry," and tears starting to fall from your eyes. You ran towards him, crying hard. "Why are you apologizing, it's my fault! Don't say sorry!" Jeno only hugged you back. "I just need you now." he whispered. That's when you started apologizing for what happened, promising him that this won't happen again.

"They know that we had fight," Haechan told you. The Dreamies went to your place for a dinner, and while there's a tension between you and your husband, the dinner went smoothly. Instead of answering him, you only gave him a deadpan stare, and before you could leave, Haechan was able to grab your hands. "Now, let's be mature and talk about what happened last week, maturely," he emphasized the words, 'maturely.' You only rolled your eyes but sat on the sofa, knowing that even you, wanted to put a stop to all of this.

The wors thing about having a fight with your husband was that he'll be out of the country for a week. And during that week, there were no phone calls nor text from each other. It's driving you crazy, but you know that the fight started with Jaemin, so why should you be the one who'll talk to him first? The doors opened, and it was just a coincidence that you're sitting in the sofa along with Lucy. "I'm home," Jaemin announced. You only gave him a stare. "Can you now talk to me please?" He pleaded, and before you could answer, Jaemin hugs you. "I miss you so much."

"I know that we're not talking, but I made you dinner," Chenle said to you, and before you could react. He already left. You watched as he sat at the dinning table, not moving. You closed your eyes and wonder what the hell did you two fought about that you ignored him for a week. A week without Chenle, without his touch and affections, and as much as it was hard for you, you couldn't muster the courage to apologize first. So when Chenle approached you today, you thought of it as a way to settle your fight. So you went to the dining area, sat beside him and began eating the meal he cooked.
Park Jisung
It was one of the rare occurence where Jisung goes home drunk. As you open the door, you saw how Jisung stumbled his way inside, you stood there frozen as you watched his movements until he turns around to face you. In a split second, he's on you, cupping your cheeks as if he's longing for you. "Are you not going to talk to me anymore?" he asked, his tone almost crying. "Come on, talk to me now, you're driving me crazy you know that?" and you only stared at him, before reaching your hands to cup his cheeks too. "I'm sorry Ji," you whispered.

Jeno blinks. His eyes locked on the small bouquet that you're holding. It contains three stems of red roses, filled with baby breathes and dried leaves. It was wrapped in a baby blue wrapper with a nice ribbon to compliment it all together.
"What is this?" he asked, despite that, Jeno accepted nonetheless.
"You said you were curious on what it feels like to receive a flower," you answered with a straight face. "So, here."
Jeno was surprised, he looks at the bouquet. It was pretty, and to think that you thought about him, made his heart skip a beat.
He gives you a wide smile, before giving you a hug and kiss on the top of your head. "Thank you, I love it so much...I feel so special."

hi loves! sorry for clogging the tags BUT i just wanted to draw attention to the boycott that is currently happening rn! seunghan is still not back and SM has given no update whatsoever since the announcement of his hiatus. which as an exo-l i expect nothing from SM anyways.. this is unfair not only to the fans but seunghan himself who worked hard to debut to be immediately put on hiatus over literally being a human! there was a leaked video of the members filming a part of their new cb and in the video there were only 6 members. i fear we won’t get an update UNLESS we follow this boycott !!
