Rerun Streetwear sale January 2022. In these images, I used the threshold editing technique on photoshop to make certain aspects of the images black and white and almost cartoon-like. This adds to the street art vibe that is already present within the photographs due to the nature of the area, Dean Lane Skatepark.

These photographs were all taken during an event at lloyds amphitheatre in Bristol in which the monster energy skate team came as part of their tour of Europe. I edited the first using saturation on half of the image to give it a colourful, grainy effect. The third photograph in this shoot captures the large community of Bristol within the subculture of skateboarding.

Still Life - Man Ray
These Photographs were a part of a project of mine in which I was attempting to imitate the style of a famous professional photographer, Man Ray. I played with different photoshop techniques within this project, including cropping and resizing, playing with black and white and filters. I also experimented with light refraction using glass as seen in the last image

The location of this shoot was Curbside skatepark as it is underneath a bridge. This makes flash photography more effective and makes the subjects stand out more against the background. In the first image, I used a wide angled lens with flash and came up close to the skateboarder. I used a continuous burst shutter to capture every movement and chose the perfect photograph.
In the second image, I captured the essence of friendship and togetherness within skateboarding.

These images were taken during a session I had with a professional photographer who taught me the different effects that are possible when playing with a slow shutter speed. I took these in the centre of Bristol by taking the photograph just before the passing of vehicles so that the light from these vehicles gets caught by the camera as it passes by.

These photographs all demonstrate the culture and community within skateboarding, focusing mainly on street-style photography. Most of these images where taken at Dean Lane skatepark which is a perfect example of a location with a huge skateboarding community and street art all around. This made for some very interesting and unique photographs.

Sol Pollet Wallride - In this image, I captured a wallride with a continuous shutter to capture each movement. I then used photoshop and layered all the images on top of each other and used the eraser to create the end product.
