I'm watching scrubs for the first time ever (loving it) and I'm about halfway through s1 and Dr. Cox is like, really starting to grate on me.

I loved him in the first half and I still enjoy a lot of his character but man, every single joke he has is literally just calling a man a girl and it feels weird that he's somehow always right like BOOOOOO no you destroying the radiology room is weird actually.

idk did anyone else feel this way? I assume he gets character development later

What's gayer? Being gay, or whatever the fuck this scene was?

something that really gets me about the doctor is that if your looking, it’s very obvious that they’re the same person across regenerations. the important things stick- the wit, the thinking under pressure, the emotional constipation, (which gets lessened over time, but that’s less on an on/off regeneration thing than you might think and more of a character arc thing so it further proves my point) their inherent love for humanity, their drama, their nonviolent tendencies.

all the obvious changes between the doctors are surface level, and if you go poking around you find that they’re all really similar to each other. I just love watching different peoples portrayals of one single character, and I think it’s really fun to see that regeneration really is mostly just changing the *body*, not the *soul*.

If scrubs had committed to a little Yaoi bait it would have been as big as Hannibal

See JD and Elliot scrubs are a great leading couple cause in addition to having phenomenal chemistry and actually being friends, JD kisses like he’s the girl …. And isn’t that all you want from an early 2000s sitcom?

10 will tell his ex that he's wrong now and it hurts to look at him and even the spaceship that they lived together on hates him. and then 10 will ask him if he's suicidal like my guy if he wasn't before he certainly is now after hearing you say all that jfc

LITERALLY !!! actually ten jack was doing pretty alright (as alright as he could be) until you said all that. actually he was completely fine. you just ruined his whole day

it doesn't matter how many times i've watched it, the master making the doctor a tiny brown suit to wear in his fetus form always has me howling laughing. the master might be diabolically evil but you've got to give it to him, he is funny
