Hi! It's kinda shameful to go this route , but being diabetic person .Now over 6 months my unemployment still pending This has been the worst couple of years of my life. Our house was destroyed in a storm. Then I am desperately in need for help. I need my insulin to bring my blood sugar back down. It’s $300 That’s all I need. AITA for answering a question?
I (???) am a wizard who has heard thousands of people asking the same question: what if everyone on Earth was stood close together and jumped at the exact same time? To satisfy their curiosities, I found that the entire human population would fit inside the borders of Rhode Island, so I teleported everyone there and made them all jump at the stroke of noon.
Nothing happened to the Earth, and everyone just wanted to go back home. However, because every single human was concentrated in Rhode Island, society as they knew it quickly collapsed and accessible resources became scarce. Within weeks, Rhode Island was a graveyard for billions.
The lucky few who managed to escape now had to struggle to build a new civilization atop the ruins of the old. They manage, but it became impossible to return to what once was. I did leave a note for future civilizations to not try that again, but it left me wondering: am I the asshole for answering such a frequently asked question in the first place?
