How does he tell his pal that he had barely if ever delved too deep into the topics of attraction? Romantic or otherwise? He was a warrior, first and foremost, and the only sourcing of his knowledge in love was stored in the fairytales he used to read when he was young (...and perhaps some trashy romance novel his sister could have lend him, but do they truly count?).
"Can't say I'd expect such a thing to cross my way. I don't think I've ever particularly faced something so... uh..." In front of his face? He's sure he has his fair share of fans in and out of the Fatui, but never has he been so blatantly involved in their delusions, let alone tried to seduce him away from his partner.
"...I-I suppose it can serve as... a motive. A mobile, even, to further your strengths on the battlefield." He was not foreign to wishing to impress or even woo someone, though admitting such a thing in his position felt a little bit like revealing a part of him bit too tender.
"Though I will say I'm not quite so involved in these matters, so I have no great ways of expanding on my answer."

Hand fisting the front of his scarf, the Champion Duelist rotates it to form a tighter knot so that she could effectively seize a hold of him without risk of him escaping.
"You're coming with me."
Squeak! He makes a noise as she grabs him by the scarf tightly and forcefully drags him away.
Fortunately for her, he will not be fighting her off, and will barely protest about it. So watch him get dragged to BED by the pretty CHAMPION DUELIST (he is still processing this part, give him some time) so he can allegedly recover from an illness he is most certain he doesn't have.
