The Sasuke Fandom often gets accusations of being pretentious and overanalyzing everything, but the truth is that anime fandoms and the Naruto fandom in particular is so goddam stupid, so low IQ that if you are able to write an articulate sentence with the correct grammar you make them feel stupid, so they hurl “not that serious”, “pretentious”, “mean” at you.

sasuke really did nothing wrong. "oh, he killed people-" THEY ARE SHINOBI!!! "oh, he wanted to enact revenge-" HE IS THE SOLE SURVIVOR OF A GENOCIDE!!! "oh, he ran away-" KONOHA IS TRASH!!! and so on and so forth

you can always know when some type of media has impacted me because i WILL create an oc for it, you like it or not. i'm not sure if they qualify as self-inserts since this is less me wanting to be part of the story and more me wanting to explore parts of the universe i find interesting / explore my trauma in controled environments / everything is always canon compliant and does not impact the story in any way. but yeah, i have a naruto oc and i'm not ashamed of it
