I can’t believe how much traction the concept of being “assigned” a sex at birth has gained… It’s completely anti-logic and anti-science yet academia has embraced it. Postmodern horse shit
Criticising Steven Universe on Tumblr is like criticising religion in Church.
Since the latest crop of stupidity from uncritical fans is to scream about how it’s bad to criticize the show for it’s 100% Steven perspective because “It’s a coming of age story for Steven” I’d like to remind everyone that Steven doesn’t have a character and his attitude changes entirely with whatever half-assed theme the writers are pushing this month.
Oh my god, why are people trashing crunchyroll’s new series so much when it’s not even out yet. If the show is bad then it’s fair game, but it hasn’t even been released!
There’s adult womz in clothes, and that makes it hard for them to whack off.
Also someone said “diversity” in the advertisement and that made them have a complete fucking tantrum.
I think Black Widow might be the marvel movie I'm least excited for. Captain Marvel is gonna be fantastic though.
Marvel really made a huge mistake with not making a Black Widow movie sooner. If they had just made it back when the fans wanted, in 2013, it probably would’ve made a decent amount of money and been really popular on here for awhile
But now they’ve waited too long and the fans have noticed all the problematic aspects of how Black Widow is written, along with how shitty a person Scarlet Johansen is, that people don’t give a shit that she finally does have a movie coming out
Chances are now that it’s gonna flop and all the movie executives are going to smoke their giant cigars in their big offices and say “Well, looks like big budget movies with female leads don’t sell, just like we thought, let’s never try to make a big budget female led movie ever again” and pat themselves on the back for their ingenuity when it’s their own damn fault (Along with Scarjo being a shitty person)
Hats off to you. An anonymous fear submitted to Deep Dark Fears - thanks!
