I haven't seen snow in 5 years. Still cold and wet lol

So, I thought I'd share a little story. Something that happened the other day. I had to go to Walmart over in Hopkinsville after work. I've got BDU black pants on, long sleeve black shirt and I wore my pentacle out. Anyhow, I got in line with a cart of probably twwnty things. I felt someone behind me and there is this guy who has five things in his hand. I told him to go ahead of me obviously. He was very appreciative, then he turned and looked at me and for a solid second he paused. He looked from my face to the pentacle and repeated this about three times. All the while I'm readying for the judgmental barrage of questions or comments that I'm thinking are about to follow. But to my surprise he doesn't say/ask them. He asks me whats my new year's plan and I ask him the same. We chit-chat until we reach the register and then after he checks out. He meets my eyes (without looking down at the pentacle this time) smiles and fist bumps me and says have a happy new year. For me it takes a bit of courage to wear my pentacle in full view. I've been judged and had the full religious beat down from others in public a couple times. So I'm wary of people you know? But this was nice. Its not often people can look past their preconceptions and just accept others. Sorry this post was a little long. I just thought I'd share a positive experience. Be proud of your pagan beliefs.
