Departure first week

SCANDAL; “Starting from 6PM this week for the entire week, everyone from SCANDAL will be reporting!! Since they’ll be appearing over 4 days and it’s a rare chance, the members will be chatting one by one! With that, the second day is TOMOMI-chan! The title of SCANDAL’s Osaka-Jo Hall tour is『360°』but somehow, let’s go with a『360 second』interview! That’s how it’s become!! TOMOMI-chan wishes to go back home if she has a holiday during Golden Week!! She wants to be at ease!! Following on, TOMOMI-chan whose birthday is near wants a voucher to go for a shoulder massage!!”

For the entire week between 28th April (Mon) to 1st May (Thu), SCANDAL will guesting on FM OSAKA’s「Endou Jun no You’ve Got a Radio!」segment. Each day will have a different member speaking for 360s. Below are the links to the radio broadcasts:

RINA: HERE. In Rina’s ‘360s’, she talks about GW and SCANDAL going up to the North. If she has a chance to go somewhere of her choice, she’d go for Las Vegas. She’d went last year with the members and several staff members and it’d been super fun. Rina also talks about “Departure” and how she’d been doing a bit of Kaatsu training herself as they proceed towards the Arena lives. She had had a trainer come to her house even. To add on, she would personally like to start running, even though she hasn’t yet begun. She also thinks running wear is nice~

TOMOMI: HERE. Timo speaks of going back to her hometown if she were to get consecutive holidays. She’ll love to meet her hometown friends, and although they do go to Tokyo as well so it doesn’t feel too long since she met them, she really treasures them so she’ll like them to meet after all. It’ll also be Tomomi’s birthday soon; So what would she like for a present? There’s plenty but she’ll most want a shoulder massage voucher. She also shares her thoughts on “Departure” and the coming Hawaii trip. The host also asks if there are any countries she’ll like to go and even though they’ve went once before during their indies time, she’ll like to revisit Paris.

Host: “Next up right here, we’ve got everyone from Momoiro and SCANDAL. They brought us a collaboration performance on 'Ikuze! Kaitou Shoujo'.”

Momoiro Clover Z: “You can say they were surprisingly shy companions.”

HARUNA: “But they came on very passionately, and to have Momoiro-chan dance and sing with us in a performance was exciting and nerve-wrecking for us.”

Momoiro Clover Z: “We were practically very near them when they were playing their instruments, so how was it?”

Introduce to us what SCANDAL have been most into recently!

HARUNA / Kaatsu Training: Moving towards the Arena performances, I���m doing this for the sake of my physical strength. Since starting this, I’ve became really positive. While it’s joined to my physical strength, I also received mental care which when done, will produce “happy hormones.” Since I remember all sorts of things with regards to my body, if in event that I become negative, all I have to do is remember the positive hormones. I think that’s really a huge factor. As it’s not my goal to lose weight, I will get myself together to create a feminine body shape until I’m satisfied while working on my body. I will take firm care of my body and mental health as we work towards June.

MAMI / Herb Tea: I’ll drink it everyday. There are plenty of choices of enherbs in this herb specialised store, which I’ll go purchase once every month. Recently, I’ll add Malva sylvestris and Heath into a black soy bean tea base and drink it. This works well on throat inflammations, and also does well for skin whitening. Herb teas are closely acquainted to a healthy body right. I’ll drink a large cup’s worth but drinking 4~5 cups everyday will have it circulating all over your body. It’s delicious and I think to continue it will be great for one’s body.

TOMOMI / Shopping with Rina: Mainly we go for western-style clothes but it’ll be like, after I end work I’ll go, “Shall I go to Shibuyaー” and she’ll follow up with, “Seriously? RINA will go too.” RINA says it’s because I’m indecisive but at the same time she’ll say this is good or that looks like it’ll compliment you, so I’ll try on lots of things (laughs). Something I’m glad I bought recently was a Comme des Garçons shoe cover. I personally have boot covers for my Dr. Martens and for rubber soles, and adding those on changes my impression. It’s really cute.

RINA / Pokemon: I’m really into it, and the 4 of us would always play it on our DS. I have watched the Anime, and I’ll have Pokemon bread etc. seemingly every morning for breakfast but it’s the first time I’ve been into the game. I can clear the story flow, while in the past as I play I had MAMI to teach me. Right now I’m moving towards the direction of collecting Pokemon. To come to evolve like in the『Pocket Monsters X・Y』series, I’ve come out with Venusaur! It has effect on the Pokemon when you use the mega ring and mega stone, and becomes stronger afterwards when you engage in competition. There are also Pokemon that sync(?) if you exchange communication, and I am fascinated with this huge crowd.

To commemorate the release of SCANDAL's new single『Departure』, TOWER RECORDS will be having panels displayed in its Shibuya branch on the 3rd floor, filled with ‘secret’ never-before-seen photos of the members. These photos will show the unexpected natural gap in the girls, and are full of wonderful photos that will make your heart pound.

The display period is from 22nd April (Tue) ~ 28th April (Mon), on the 3rd floor of TOWER RECORDS Shibuya.

TOWER RECORDS Shibuya is open from 10AM ~ 11PM daily. For those that’ll be in Tokyo during this period, please do go check it out ^^
