i’m moving!
ok i’m not quite done with it yet but follow me over at neverallnorman for a cleaner, rebooted experience? i won’t be scrapping much in the way of characterization, i’m just going to be redoing my tags and pages and whatnot. it’s still very much a work in progress so i’d appreciate some patience! any threads we might have had that you’d want to keep, i’d be happy to move them over there.

one of the major differences i’ve noticed in movie!norman and tv!norman is that tv!norman is actually very funny once you’re accustomed to his extremely dry sense of humor sdklj
meanwhile canon norman is just over here awkwardly chuckling at his own jokes and feeling out of place all the time lmao

defenestratio:
@myownprivatetrap (x)
“I thought I’d make breakfast. I woke up– unbidden, really– so I figured it’s the best way to start the day off. We’re putting the finishing touches on the rooms this weekend. I think I’m just turning around a lot of urgency in my head– looking for panic that doesn’t exist. I have trouble when things go well. It lessens the need for desperation.”
Waffles it is. The waffle-maker, meanwhile, is plugged in and clicked on, red light announcing its patience. She pushes it aside on the counter-top with a smile.
“Chocolate chips or no? –The coffee’s fresh in the French Press. I thought since I was awake I’d forsake the stupid Keurig.”
“I’ve always preferred doing things the old-fashioned way, anyway.” Groggy and still feeling weighed down, Nora moves to get herself a cup of coffee, far less sweet than Norman takes his (black with one sugar, as opposed to cream with two). Since her mind is on him anyway, she decides to check their cell phone, concerned about his class time.
“No chocolate,” she says, grabbing the phone off the table as she takes a seat. The screen is locked, and she puts in the password -- and again -- and after the third try, her tone darkens, frustrated. “He changed his phone password.”
The usual ones aren’t working. Why would he lock it other than to keep her out? Nora sips at her coffee, winces when it’s slightly too hot, and delicately folds one leg over the other, glancing up at Alana.
“Was this your idea? To lock me out of it?”
