Not wanting to be pregnant
I actually wished I had some sort of odd medical issue/ cancer that prevented me from having my period instead of being pregnant.

Planned parenthood
It has been over a month since I had unprotected sex with my "partner " from the holiday party. I haven't had my period since, so I took two at home pregnancy tests. Both came back negative đŸ€— But after over a month of not having my period I woke up with lower abdomen pain. This pain was worse then any cramps I've EVER had. It was so bad I started to dry heave. I called into work and booked an appointment with planned parenthood for a more advanced pregnancy test. Once there they were so polite and the medical assistant really calmed me down. She left to test my urine and came back right away. With I thought meant it turned positive but it was a negative result. I started crying because I was so relieved that I was not pregnant. She said the pain is probably from my body realizing it is over due to shed the pinning of my uterus. My thought was I know this body why don't you just shed it already. My stressful time

My life as a woman🙃
I went to my works holiday party. I knew drunk me shouldn't talk to the two guys I thought were cute. I ended up talking to one of them and we'll talking lead to me bringing him back to my place. Multiple people at the party told me how nice of a guy he is and drunk me was happy to be talking to suck an attractive guy. In the car ride back to my place neither of us could remember what was said. But I was later told he would fuck me in his ( insert competing college sports team ) shirt. I remember trying to tell him we're the condoms were but he didn't listen and he just started to have sex with me. I don't regret having sex with him and it wasn't forced but I do admit it I wanted a condom to be safe.

my sad attempt at “adulting”
I smile at work.  I try to be positive.  But I never really realized how sad I am until I just vented to my best friends from high school.  I seemed to just keep complaining and I couldn’t stop.
Work is so repetitive and I seem to screw up everything or I don’t know how to do anything.  I go home frustrated.  I don’t have any actual personal connections because I don’t now anyone here.  So I go from hating work to being home alone.
I just look forward to the weekend, even if I am not doing anything because work sucks.  Durring my phone interview my boss told me that others said that this job wasn’t right for me.  I think they were correct.
I honestly just am not happy with how my life is right now.  So maybe I should change things.

I love how she thought all she would be remembered for was her ability to act to act and then she was able to add another talent that she never would have thought she could.  Way to go Danica!

The CRISPR system is such an amazing advancement that has come up.

A mosquito that does good for a change
Here comes news of a possible big win for the world: the eradication of malaria, a disease that causes one million deaths per year.
And this is all possible with the creation of malaria-blocking mosquitoes that are no longer a carrier and transmitter of the parasite.
Using the CRISPR gene-editing tool, researchers at UC Irvine and UC San Diego created a breed of mosquitoes that are resistant to malarial parasite and have the ability to pass on the anti-malarial gene to 99.5 percent of its offspring.
More testing needs to be done, but if the advancement could someday lead to the elimination of the disease, millions of people living in malaria zones around the world could sleep more peacefully knowing that the irritating whizzing sound is more of a “self-sustaining disease control tool” than a looming threat.
Read more about the experiment.

Such an interesting way to use bacteria.  Such smart women!!

Dawn of the Cyborg Bacteria
“In a basement laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania, two roboticists have harnessed the sensing, swimming, and swarming abilities of bacteria to power microscopic robots. Even though their work sounds like the premise of a dark science fiction film, Ph.D. students Elizabeth Beattie and Denise Wong hope these initial experiments with nano bio-robots will provide a platform for future medical and micro-engineering endeavors.”

I’ve got a cameo in this EPIC new science rap from Science With Tom alongside like a million of my favorite science people, from Hank Green to Bill Nye the Science Guy to BrainCraft to Gross Science to MinuteEarth and so, so many more that I can’t even type them all! â€ȘThis was so much fun.
And can we give it up for E-40? That original is dope.

Last night I experienced my first guy harass me like the was men harass women  plastered all over the media.
He told me to come here.  I sat a spot away from him.  He then wrapped his arm around me and then called me sexy.  He asked/told me to give him a blow job.  I told him he was a little too drunk to be asking that.  Once I could tell I should move, I said NO and moved 5-10 feet away from him.  He proceeded to call me a bitch.  on a side note I gave his friend props for telling this guy to shut up and stop.
I didn’t feel assaulted or anything.  It didn’t hurt me emotionally or anything.  It just made me laugh.

I am jealous of people of a different race.
They have culture.  They have traditions that run deep in them.  They respect their elders.  Even though they have people continuously question what they are doing, they still have something to share with the world.  They bring the unknown to my world.  They bring new information and a different understanding to my thought process.
