Makes 3 waffles 5-6 servings Preheat waffle iron Grease or spray lightly with coconut oil Ingredients: 2 bananas 1 cup all-natural almond, or other nut butter 1 tsp melted unrefined coconut oil 2 large eggs 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 tsp baking soda Instructions: Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and combined well. Pour just enough batter into the center of iron. Smooth a bit with spatula. Cook. P.s. the chocolate is a high quality dark chocolate (Lily’s sweetened w/stevia) that I melted with a tiny bit of coconut oil. Spray a flat baking sheet with cooking spray and arrange the chicken on the sheet. Season chicken with sea salt; set aside. Whisk fresh lemon juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. Pour half of the honey lemon mixture over the chicken. Bake for 20 minutes in your preheated oven, or until the chicken is cooked through. Arrange the asparagus and the cherry tomatoes around the chicken. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Return to the oven to oven on “broil” until the chicken is golden, and the asparagus is cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Glowing Green Goddess Smoothies! 👑 2-3 servings per packet Ingredients in each packet(adjust to your liking): 1/2 cup fresh green grapes 1/2 small banana, chopped 1/2 kiwi, chopped 3 small pieces honeydew melon 1.5 or 2 cups fresh baby spinach. 1/2 cup baby kale. A few fresh mint leaves (as desired) Add ingredients to a ziploc, or reusable container. Place in freezer. Be sure to make at least a weeks worth! . Pull one package out of the freezer, place in blender, and Add: 1 cup unsweetened coconut/ almond milk, or water until desired consistency is achieved 1/2 cup ice cubes, optional . Blend until desired consistency. Serves 2-3 Have you ever heard of batching? Batching is: doing a bunch of similar tasks all at once! This chicken is one of the most flavor packed, zesty, and colorful meals I’ve tasted lately! If you’re looking to mix things up this week…try it!} makes about 4 servings 1.5  lb chicken thighs, skin-on 1 red bell pepper, diced 1 yellow bell pepper, diced 1 green bell pepper, diced 3 celery stalks, sliced 1 large red onion, cut into bite sized pieces a small bunch of fresh chopped cilantro, for garnish For the Honey Garlic Sauce/Marinade: 1/4 cup raw honey 1 Tbsp coconut aminos Juice of one lemon 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced 1/2 tsp sea salt Instructions: Preheat the oven to 375° degrees f. In a small bowl, whisk together all the ingredients for the honey garlic sauce. Place the chicken in a large Ziploc bag and add in 1/3 of the honey garlic mixture. Coat and place in the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes. Transfer chicken to the baking tray and roast for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and arrange veggies around chicken, then drizzle with the remaining UNUSED honey garlic sauce. Return to oven and bake for another 15-20 minutes, until chicken is golden brown, and fully cooked. Garnished with fresh chopped cilantro. And…I bet you have all the ingredients on hand right now! 🙌 Ingredients: Makes 4 servings 4 small, new potatoes, unpeeled and cut into wedges 2 Tbsps avocado or olive oil plus 2 tsp more 4-6 free range eggs 1 Tbsp red wine, or apple cider vinegar 2 Tbsps capers, rinsed 1/3 cup fresh or sundried tomatoes, chopped ½ red onion, thinly sliced 6 cups baby spinach leaves 1-2 cans yellowfin/albacore tuna steak in spring water, drained Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. Toss the potatoes with 2 tsp of oil and some seasonings of choice (garlic + sea salt…maybe smoked paprika). Place on a large baking sheet, then roast for 20 mins, flipping halfway, until crispy, golden and cooked through. Meanwhile, place eggs in a small pan of water, bring to the boil, then simmer for about 4-8 mins, depending on how you like them cooked. Plunge immediately into a bowl of ice water to cool for a few mins. Peel away the shells, then gently slice into halves. In a large salad bowl, whisk together the remaining oil, red wine vinegar, capers and sundried tomatoes. Season with sea salt and pepper, stir in the onion, spinach, tuna and potatoes, then gently toss together. https://mydukandiary.com/?p=37826&utm_source=SocialAutoPoster&utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=Tumblr Orange Chicken with Asparagus {It’s fresh asparagus season! 🌱} 📌PIN it: CleanFoodCrush.com/orange-chicken-stir-fry Serves 6 Ingredients: 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast/tenders, diced into 1-inch pieces 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive or avocado oil, divided 2 lb asparagus, end portions trimmed and remainder diced into 1 1/2-inch pieces 1 small yellow onion, sliced into thin strips 8 oz button mushrooms, sliced 1 Tbsp peeled and finely grated fresh ginger 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth Juice of 2 fresh oranges 2 Tbsps raw honey 2 Tbsps arrowroot, potato starch, OR cornstarch Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper Instructions: In a 12-inch non-stick wok, heat 1/2 oil over moderately high heat. Once oil is hot, add diced chicken and season lightly with salt and pepper. Sauté until cooked through, tossing occasionally, about 5-6 minutes. Place chicken on a large plate and set aside. Return wok, reduce to medium-high heat, add remaining oil. Once oil is hot, add asparagus, yellow onion and mushrooms, and sauté until tender-crisp, about 4 – 5 minutes, adding in garlic and ginger during the last 1 minute of sautéing. You’re set for breakfast, or snacks! #MealPrep #Win Not only do overnight oats save you time in the morning, but they’re also much easier to digest than unsoaked oats. As the oats soak overnight, their digestibility greatly improves. Overnight as they soak, the starches break down which improves digestibility and the natural phytic acid (which all plants contain) is greatly reduced that makes them more easily absorbed by your body! For each 1 serving you’ll need: 1/2 pint glass jar with lid Ingredients: 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk 1/4 cup uncooked rolled oats 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt 1 Tbsps. chia seeds 2 tsp. raw honey, or pure maple syrup 1/4 tsp. vanilla 1/4 cup fresh, or frozen blueberries Instructions: Combine milk, oats, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey, and vanilla in a 1/2-pint jar with a lid; stir well until combined. Make em’ 😘 } Makes 4 servings Ingredients: 2 avocados 1 cup ripe cherry tomatoes, cut into quarters 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella pearls 4 Tbsp fresh chopped basil 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar 1 Tbsp raw honey Instructions: To make the balsamic reduction: In a small saucepan over medium heat, constantly whisk while simmering the balsamic vinegar and honey together until it reduces to half or the desired thickness. Let cool before using. Meanwhile, halve the avocados and remove the seed. Scoop out a small bit of the flesh if needed, to make them hold the Caprese salad. Place the avocado on a plate and top with the tomato, mozzarella and fresh basil, followed by a nice drizzle of the balsamic reduction. Tag me if you make it 🙌 makes 2 servings Ingredients: 2 large zucchini, spiralized ( cleanfoodcrush.com/spiralizer ) 1 pound of skinless salmon fillet, cut into cubes juice from 1/2 lemon + more to garnish 1 Tbsp melted clarified butter, Ghee, or coconut oil 1 fresh garlic clove, minced 1 pinch of chili powder sea salt and pepper, to your taste 1 1/2 cup halved fresh cherry tomatoes a pinch of chili flakes Instructions: Whisk half of the melted butter with the fresh minced garlic, chili powder and lime juice, and season with salt and pepper. Pour this marinade over the salmon cubes, and toss to coat. Preheat a large pan over medium high heat, then add in the salmon cubes and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and flaky. Remove the salmon from the pan and set aside. In the same preheated pan add in the remaining butter, cherry tomatoes and zucchini noodles. Saute for about 2-3 minutes, then return the salmon and very gently stir to combine to combine. Tag me if you try em”! . makes 6 servings as an appetizer, or light meal Ingredients: 2 large English cucumbers 8-10 ounces wild-caught tuna, drained well 2 stalks of celery, diced very small 2-3 green onions, diced 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (OR smashed avocado instead of the yogurt) 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp smoked paprika 2-3 tsps fresh squeezed lemon juice 4 Tbsps fresh chopped dill a pinch of chili flakes Instructions: Slice the cucumbers right down the middle length wise. Then, using a spoon, gently scrape out the insides. Cut the halves in 4-5 equal pieces depending on the length of your cucumber. Discard the scooped seeds and set the cucumber “boats” aside on a large platter. In a small bowl add the drained tuna and gently mash with a fork until it’s all flaked. Add in the celery, green onion, yogurt, dill, lemon, smoked paprika, sea salt and pepper. Mix all of the ingredients together with a fork until everything is nicely combined. These have such a beautiful presentation, and seem like you spent a ton of time making them…but they really couldn’t be simpler! Also, every aspect of this idea is loaded with nutrition + flavor! Customize, and mix-&-match to your preference! . 👉PIN it! http://cleanfoodcrush.com/pepper-eggs-breakfast-rings/ . {Ingredients} 1 or 2 green bell peppers Whole free range eggs for each ring Sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste 🙋optional toppings: fresh dill, fresh chives, smoked salmon, avocado slices and/or sliced red onion. . Instructions: Slice the bell peppers into ½ inch rings. Use a sharp knife to make clean cuts (to better hold the egg in place). Remove all of the the white inner flesh and seeds. Heat the skillet on medium heat and coat with non-stick coconut oil cooking spray. Let the pan heat up before adding food. Place the pepper rings in the middle of the pan. Allow the rings to cook and brown lightly before adding the egg. Turn the rings over a few times so both sides cook evenly. Very gently add one egg to the middle of each bell pepper ring. Well ok, besides my kids…and my fiance…maybe our dog too…but…a girls gotta eat! Lunchtime, snacks, breakfast (add an egg!) …whatever…I’m happy! And since it contains those good avocado fats, we feel totally satisfied afterwards!} makes 3 servings Ingredients: 3 large slices of crisp iceberg lettuce 1/2 head of butter lettuce 6 slices nitrate free bacon, cooked 1 avocado, thinly sliced 1-2 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced Options: sliced turkey breast Instructions: Lay out one large iceberg leave, then layer on 2 slices of butter lettuce leaves on top. Top nicely with a few slices of both tomato and avocado, then add in 2 slices of bacon. I like adding sliced turkey (3-4 ounces to make a meal) Fold the bottom up, the sides in, and roll like a burrito. Slice in half then serve cold. These are great for make ahead lunches! Stir in salsa, chili powder and cumin; and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Divide lettuce among four plates or place it in one big bowl. Top with turkey mixture, tomatoes, avocado and carrot.
