At last! After nine years of sitting on a shelf and being in progress (“I’ll work on it next year” happened nine times!!!), I finished this beautiful Christmas train in time for the #winterycollab2022 ! Many thanks to @dolly_lolly_playtime for organizing the collab, it was a lot of fun and I met some lovely new folks! And I FINALLY finished my train!! 🚂 I’ll be posting more closeups in coming days, but for now, here’s a fun comparison; the top is my custom train, and the bottom is the stock train! I wanted to preserve and highlight the original sculpting, so you will see some similar colors between the two! I’ll admit, I was a little bit upsetti spaghetti when Minty only showed up one singular time as a background pony throughout the whole G4 series. I think she would’ve been cute as a Pie family cousin! Sure, that takes away the option of MintyPie, which is tragic, but also, it makes perfect sense for she and Pinkie to be cousins!! They could own a cute little candy shop/bakery combo together!!!

Serious question: did G3 fans kick up this much of a fuss when Minty wasn’t part of the G4 cast or are u guys just a bunch of babies who can’t accept change

Here’s something different! I rerooted this Cabbage Patch Kid and put a pacifier magnet in her head! I like to refurbish CPKs in my free time, but this is the most in-depth project for one I’ve done! Her original hair couldn’t be saved because it had been doused with paint at some point before she came to me, so I decided to give her some fun colors instead of her original black! The second most in-depth project I’ve done, for the record, was when I sewed a new arm for a CPK that had been victim to a dog attack in her past. I’ve also repainted smudged eyes, darkened blush, and “cured” pox (mold in the vinyl)!
