JUSTIFICATION:

"Jean-Paul's entire story revolves around identity and expectation. Particularly his lack of control around it. What does it take to be Azrael, what does it take to be Batman, how can I be the best version possible.

Lots of ideas of what it means to be the son of a man you never really knew, and not feeling like you fit into what others are telling you is your destiny. Jean-Paul throws his entire being into that he is 'supposed to be,' partially as a way to make the people around him happy, partially as a way to run away from finding out who he really is.

Story-wise, it makes so much sense for Jean-Paul to be trans simply because of the emphasis on the legacy of the son presented within his story and I think Jean-Paul breaking the legacy of the son because she is a daughter would fuck so hard. Jean-Paul taking control of her identity and transitioning would be the biggest middle finger to both St. Dumas and Batman.

Advice I gave someone today was: 'do it stupid.'

She wants to learn photography. Do it stupid. Take a million photos. Don't think about why they're not good. Enjoy the process of taking photos.

Pick out tge ones you like the most and figure out why you like them. Is it because the subject is centered? Is it because you caught them doing something cool? Is it because the light made cool shadows?

Do it stupid. If you try to do it smart, youll get stuck. If you think too much you'll never get to doing. Do it stupid.

house and wilson are both committing malpractice but in like. opposite ways. house is so detached from his patients that it sometimes actively harms his diagnostic process and almost always causes unnecessary distress/harm to his patients but wilson is so. so disgustingly disturbingly attached to every single person he treats. he sleeps with patients he gives his liver to a guy who doesn’t even know his name his office is a literal monument to the items he’s collected from everyone he couldn’t save. they’re both incapable of maintaining or respecting personal boundaries but it manifests in vastly different ways.
