Right now the only things to look forward to are New Order’s shows in summer and Hooky’s in summer and autumn. I feel like New Order has some different management, I remember in November of 2022 looking at their youtube channel and their banner was still about Education Entertainment Recreation when the Low-Life definitive was definitely announced. With the three definitive releases last year, something changed. But I hope they didn’t like use up all their moxie yet.

A definitive Substance does make me question if we’re gonna get a definitive Brotherhood (especially since it shared a few sessions with Low-Life) but it would be weird just to skip to Technique (which has a lot more material)… so like… I dunno I wouldn’t be surprised if they just stopped. Hasn’t there been a release every year since 2015? Complete Music in 2016, NOMC in 2017… nothing in 2018 I recall but So It Goes/Decades was recorded there and then released in 2019. 2019 also had Movement Definitive and then 2020 had PCL definitive and Be A Rebel. 2021 had EdEntRec and the Be A Rebel remixes. 2022 had nothing and then 2023 had LowLife, GetTheMessage and Substance.

Like I dunno I feel like if they wanna be smart they would keep something like this up. So i’m just. Wondering what’s gonna get announced next.

i just listened to twisted tenderness (the song, the original one) while reading a very very sad, very long poem i wrote last year. the synths were hugging me. i’d never felt that with that song before. cute.
