Nighthawks
By Edward Hopper
The scene of loneliness. The four characters in this peice are seated closely.
when you look closely there is no connection between them. Even the two who shares the closest seats aren’t touching or looking at each other.
The theme of this scene, If you can’t share deep connections with people around you, you will feel lonely.

The painting described Marc’s sensitivity to the natural world . He loved painting horses he felt that horses captures innocence. In this painting the horses looks emotional even with how big it is and strong in this piece . He used the colors from his theories about colors, the blue color is masculine and yellow is feminine.

The Scream
By Edvard Munch
It captured a real moment of munch’s experience of a loud scream through nature walk with two escorts seen behind in the background. It referrers to his troubles and anxiety.
“ I was walking down the road with two friends when the sun set; suddenly, the sky turned as red as blood. I stopped and leaned against the fence, feeling unspeakably tired. Tongues of fire and blood streched over the bluish black fjord. My freinds went on walking, while I lagged behind, shivering with fear. Then I heard the enormous infinte scream of nature”

The Starry Night
By Vincent Van Gogh
The Starry Night is a magnificent piece of art and one of my favorite inspirational paintings. Its an abstract landscape of night sky over hillside village. It was painted during his stay in clinic for the mentally ill after suffering from breakdowns.
The Starry Night came from Van Gogh’s emotions, memories and imagination non matched with his surroundings. The many brushstrokes, thickly applied paint and that curve and swirl seems to be in motion “alive”
Some analysts said it a depressing paint and other saw it like a source of hope. He left a letter to his brother describing the Starry Night “ the sight of the sky always makes me dream, I found the night much more alive and richly colored than the day”
