god my absolute favorite feeling is devouring a book, when you get so into the pages and the words that you have to stop your eyes from skipping lines and force yourself to read every word, when youâre so impatient for what happens next that you canât sit still while reading, when you have to re read whole pages because you were too busy predicting and anticipating that you missed the actual events, when you read a part thatâs too good for words and you have to close the book and scream into your pillow, thatâs what reading a truly great book is about and the feeling is even better when you havenât found a book like that in a long time and then you stumble across one and something inside of you awakens

Donât Think
Donât think about Manon landing on the Wastes without her Thirteen.
Donât think about Manon having to lead the Witch Kingdom without the witches who changed her, who taught her how to care, to love.
Donât think about Manon not being able to fulfill Asterinâs promise because there is no body left to bring to the cabin in the woods.
Donât think about Manon looking behind her and her witches not being there.
Donât think about Manon laying on her bed crying because she lost her cousin, her bestfriends, her family. Her THIRTEEN.
Just. Donât. Think. About. Any. Of. It.

Friendly Reminder
Aelin is immortal, meaning she will bury her mortal friends.
She will say goodbye to the healer she saved and who became her friend, Lady Yrene Westfall.
She will say goodbye to her good and strong friend, Neithâs Arrow.
She will say goodbye to her brave friend Lady of Perranth along with her blood sworn grumpy deathly friend Lord Lorcan Lochan.
And the hardest goodbye of them all will be to her bestfriends, the two men who were by her side through good and bad. Just like in the end of Kingdom of Ash, the hardest goodbye will be to Dorian Havilliard and Chaol Westfall, but this time it will be forever.

The Thirteen
Thirteen Blackbeak witches.
Thirteen wyverns for thirteen witches.
Thirteen witches who fought together.
Thirteen witches who changed together.
Thirteen witches who loved together.
But only one lived to tell the tales of the Thirteen witches and their wyverns.

The best part of re-reading a book is seeing the early interactions of your canon ships and being like âyou donât even know that thatâs the love of your LIFE right there⌠but I do!â Itâs like such a wonderful, satisfying, Look-How-Far-Weâve-Come moment.
