A CONCUSSION COULD BE a little difficult to diagnose at the moment given he was the guy who had hit is head so trying to diagnose himself while it was spinning wasn’t ideal. but he didn’t fill like he was going to be sick or anything like that so he supposed that was the plus of it all. with matt’s assistance he was able to get to his feet without feeling like the room was spinning completely. other then a horrible throbbing he seemed alright. ❝ i don’t think so… ❞ he paused once he had steadied himself. ❝ i never caught your name…. ❞
❝ Right-- I figured getting you off the ground came first. Matthew Murdock, ❞
Matt’s attention is pulled a moment, one hand kept to steady the other at his shoulder while the opposite sought his cane once more. Fingertips brushed across the rough wall until it was in his hands once more.
❝ ---And you? I feel like I need a name to put to the man who needs the blind to tell them about vigilance, ❞
The remark is far from biting, simply amused and making light of their given scenario.

AS THOMAS LIFTED HIS gaze to actually focus upon the man that was offering him assistant. he actually found himself surprised to see the man appeared blind, had to have some extremely heightened sense if he knew thomas had smacked his head. his hand brushed over his hand && he could feel the dampness of blood that caused his eyes to flutter shut. ❝ if you don’t mind… ❞ he confessed. he was a doctor but he couldn’t focus too much on his head right now.
❝ Isn’t too bad, is it? ❞
Fingers twitch with the temptation to offer the square of fabric kept in pocket for the blood--that posed a dangerous game of giving away too much. Instead, Matt’s cane is set aside, ( feeling briefly for where he could prop it rather than collapsing it ), & his hands find place at the stranger’s back & arm. All intent to help the man to his feet, and offer a shoulder to lean on.

As one might suspect, Matthew is a confirmed & practicing member of the Catholic church. His faith playing a strong role in his life throughout, and to current. Upon his confirmation at the age of 13 Matt had decided upon the name “Michael” for his confirmation. After, of course, the archangel Saint Michael; patron to Warriors and combat–and in some extended belief, patron to the suffering.
After his confirmation, Matthew received a pendent of pewter St Michael as a gift. Of which Matthew still owns and wears daily, though often hidden beneath his clothing.
