No one is at fault for being a fan, liking or listening to his music or projects prior to Evan Rachel Wood coming forward and blatently stating he groomed, manipulated, r*ped, and made her fear for her life. However, it is not ok to defend an abuser regardless of your interest in his music.

Why didn't she come forward sooner? She literally had Stockholm Syndrome and was constantly told if she did anything she could be killed or at least her career would end. She is literally a survivor and don't belittle her experience because "she didn't understand him". His current wife also threatened to expose pictures of her when she was drunk and underage, to which Evan has recently filed a police report.

Corey Feldman and others (including musicians) have also stated they were abused.

I have seen COUNTLESS inexcusable things this man and other bandmates have said over the years and I brushed it off because I and everyone else assumed it wasnt serious and was part of the shock rock image.

I've read his autobiography and yes, he was abused by his neighbour when he was young but that defends NOTHING. Abusers were often abused themselves.

Para quienes no sepan, Freyja es una diosa de la mitología nórdica, y Van Gogh es mi gato (que murió hace dos años). Desde el año pasado tengo una fascinación por la mitología nórdica, y quería hacer una pintura sobre Freyja, pero no sabía muy bien qué. Es la diosa del amor, la belleza y la fertilidad, y al mismo tiempo relacionada con la guerra, la muerte, la magia, la profecía y la riqueza. Algo particular de Freyja es que su carro de guerra es llevado por gatos, y que junto con Odín se dividen los muertos de guerra; mientras Odín se lleva una mitad al Valhalla, ella se lleva a la otra (se cree que los guerreros de defensa) al Fólkvangr. Entonces, se me vino la idea de finalmente pintar a Freyja con mi gato en sus brazos en el Fólkvangr 🖤
