hi wiggly i have a music question
so i’m writing harmonies for this song and do u think for this chord it would be better to have it go uh. ok i don’t have any technical terms for this bear with me please
C/D#/G — C/D#/G — C/D#/G — B/G/D
orrr keep the last note of the yellow line just a sustained D# so it’s

(notes are in order lol if you need octave numbers i got you but i would hope i’m making it at least sort of clear ish)
I'm mostly self-taught with music theory, so a lot of this is just what sounds natural to my ear. In isolation, the D# to G sounds more natural to me, especially if the song is in C minor. The D# and D natural have a major seventh interval between them, which I'm not entirely sure what to do with if the song is indeed in C minor. The major seventh of a scale from the root note REALLY wants to resolve to the octave, but I'm not really sure how to resolve a minor third and a major ninth.
Basically, I'd go with B/G/D currently, but that may change depending on the key of the song, and the context of the surrounding chords.
I don't know much about relationships between chords, I mostly just move the individual notes of a chord around until it sounds good in the context of the rest of the song

Also Me: BUT MY ARTISTIC VISION REQUIRES THIS SONG TO HAVE 360 BPM CHANGES FOR ACCURACY TO THE BREAKCORE DRUMS
Also Also Me: Why do I always get these tempo ratios backwards? Are dotted notes 3:4 or 4:3? *scrolls all the way back to the beginning of the chart to check which one to use* oh it was neither.

🍄 — they’re sentimental! every summer, just before school starts, my dad and i get a pomegranate and crack it open together at the table. we’ve been doing it since i was rly little. i also like the imagery of like… open the pomegranate and all the little seeds are inside…. just like if u open our head u find a bunch of little guys in there! also aesthetics lol they go with the graveyard thing to make a red/grey colour palette which is super tasty to me. also persephone symbolism
