Just watched Croods 2 and now im obsessed
#compared to the first the second is not that good but it had real potential!#like the first had set it up to where they couldve taken it in any direction! altho it makes sense that the direction wpuld be to expand on#Guy and see some other prehistoric people#but it couldve been so much better#it just reminds me of whaf the first did so well in#like grugs character development that was so fundamental to the story and the theme#i wish that the 2nd movie didnt back track on that and instead focused on specific character development from the Bettermans Guy or even Ee#it felt much more fantastically and not grounded at all and not just like big picture wise but you can also feel it detail wise#the goodthings i really liked about the movie was Guy and Eeps romance very cute loved it#i liked Dawn i wish she got more focus :( esp about how the wall was her cave!#like shes sheltered like Eep but even more so that would be cool to look more into#didnt like the punch monkey plot it was just too much#loved what it did for guy and eep but other than that i wish they took this movie in another direction :/#not saying it didnt focus on these characters but it didnt and couldnt have enough focus on them because theres just so much#going on
