Mourning Bonnets

These were made to go with @theroyalthornoliachronicles's Simblreen story (which you can read here) for the character Death.

The bonnet has two files. One comes without the veil and the original version comes with 2 variations of veil.

Both bonnets have 7 different ribbon colours: the black bow pictured, 3 half-mourning purple shades, and 3 dark greens which is what the characters in @theroyalthornoliachronicles's main story would wear. They also have the black pictured and a lighter shade of straw.

They were built around my Death day hairstyle (found here) but they work with a variety of other hairstyles by myself and others.

Pockmarked

A set of skindetails to portray a sim who has survived smallpox, for all your historical sims!

Can be used as a continuation of my smallpox skindetail

Smallpox (Variola Major) was an infectious disease that began with a high fever, headaches and back pain and then proceeded to an eruption on the skin that left the face and limbs covered with cratered pockmarks, or pox.

For centuries smallpox was dreaded, killing as many as 30 percent of its victims, most of them children.

Those who survived were permanently immune to a second infection, but they faced a lifetime of disfigurement and in some cases blindness.

That said - the skin detail is available for both frames and all ages.

Toddler & Child versions are under the Freckles section

Teen-Elder versions are under both the Freckles and the Forehead Wrinkle section

The skin detail should work on a range of skin colours with 8 swatches of varying degrees of opacity

New Lot Traits : Use Residential Rentals shared areas as Community Lots

Hi everyone ! 🤗

Over the last few days, I've been working on a project that seemed necessary to bring a little life to some of the residential lots I've built: using shared spaces as community lots, to give my residents access to a bar, cafe, or whatever, without going through a loading screen, while bringing a little more life to these spaces.

I know that LittleMsSam had already made a mod allowing you to always have NPCs on any lot, but what I also needed here was to have visitors, who would use the objects placed on the lot as expected. To this end, I created 5 traits:

🍵 Brewed Delights: the lot functions as a café (if there's an Espresso Bar) or a Thrift Shop (if there's a Bubble Tea stand). It's open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

🍕 Meals on the Go: the lot automatically hires stall vendors (up to 2 stalls) and/or a cafeteria server (using University's Cafeteria Station) for lunch and dinner.

🍸 Drinking Spot: the lot functions as a bar (if there is a bar in the shared spaces). This also includes karaoke if a machine is present. It's open from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m.

🧩 Fun Zone: the lot automatically brings in children and teenagers to enjoy the on-site facilities (outdoor or indoor games) from 10am (weekends)/5pm (weekdays) to 9pm.

🏥 Care Facility: this lot takes car of its tenants by offering them all the comforts they need on a daily basis: a catering services (using University's Cafeteria Station), care and visits from the loved ones.

🙌 Curious Visitors: the lot automatically brings in people to enjoy the on-site facilities from 9am to 9pm, and automatically hires stall vendors (up to 2 stalls) for lunch and dinner.

Additional stuff :

The traits are located under lot challenges. You need to configure them for each unit separately.

Those traits work on Residential Rentals and community lots. I had to modify all autonomies so that visitors only use objects in the shared areas.

Among visitors, neighbors living on the same lot are used to populate the shared areas, in addition to the other tasks they normally perform.

If the lot trait Private Dwelling is used, only NPCs will be included, and visitors will be limited to Sims from other units. I use this feature, for example, to have a bar in my hotel!

In the current configuration, I favor played sims for visitor groups (not for single visitors). I'll have to see how I adapt this, as it's the most relevant in my way of playing, but I could change this setting.

A Janitor NPC is included except for the Fun Zone, to clean up any leftover glasses and plates at the end of service. I wasn't able to limit them to the shared areas entirely, so they may also clean your active family's home.

The mod should require some expansions packs, at least For Rent, Get to Work, Get Together, University, High School Years.

At the moment, translated in French and Spanish only (it's very limited in terms of strings used)

List of altered tunings : I tried to limit myself, and in the future I plan to use the Lot 51 Core Library for most of them, but it seems at the moment the injection of static commodities doesn't work that well :

eat_to_clean_from_sit: to make visitors' dirty plates and glasses disappear like on a community lot - otherwise your lots would be a mess after 1 day! It doesn't work 100%, but it helps. As a side effect, this effect also applies to your sims if you have the lot trait, which means less dishes!

bubbleTeaCounter_PushOrderDrink_Autonomous & bubbleTeaCounter_PushOrderFood_Autonomous: to add the static commodity that makes visitors route to them when they are spawned on the lot. I doubt other mods affect those, so it should be ok!

Lace Curtains

I remade my old curtain from Casablanca set into a new set. This set includes 2-tile, 3-tile and 2-tile tied curtains for normal height wall and a 2-tile curtain for medium height wall.

Found in wall decor and curtains categories, 7 simoleons, each with 9 color options. They function as wall decor, and won’t stick to window slot.

This is was a very difficult project with multiple files but I learned a lot through it!!!

Description:

3 main files: 1.Ottoman Carriage doors closed, 2. Ottoman Carriage Door Open, 3. Extra sofa to put across the existing sofa in the carriage.

The carriages do not fade so you can take close up pictures! The carriages are originally sofas so when you place the carriage inside there is already a sofa in. In order to have 2 sofas place the extra sofa across the existing one.

The Sims 4 Mod: All Worlds are Residential

This mod turns Destination Worlds - Granite Falls, Selvadorada and Batuu - into Residential worlds, which allows Sims to live in them* and freely travel between them.

*In order to move into one of those worlds, you will need a venue mod, such as Venue Changes, to be able to set lot types to Residential. Moving into Batuu is not possible because of how the world works differently from other worlds.

Even without a venue mod, this mod will still allow your Sims to freely travel between those worlds.

My Fair Lady: Early Romantic Era Hairs

♫♫♫♫ (sorry I now feel the feminine urge to include a Regency song in everything, ignore me but it sounds better as you read.)

Alright, I made these Early Romantic Era (1820-1910) hairstyles and decided why not release them. They are named after characters in my sims story, Isabella, Selina, Aurelia, and Susan (3 of which have not been introduced yet). You can look at their aesthetics if you want here. There are no 1820s hairstyles so I saw it fit to make some for my story. I say these are 1820s Hairstyles but these can work from about 1817-1827. The two without the Apollo knots can work for as early as 1815. The two with the Apollo knots can work as early as 1817.

I have snatched pieces of hair from @the-melancholy-maiden and @buzzardly28, credit to them for amazing pieces of hair I can work with.
