Study Tips to Help MBA Students
Study Tips to Help MBA Students
Whether you are moving directly from your university program to a master's program or leaving the world of work to pursue your MBA program, the course could end. Between work and family commitments, plus an additional program, you can make the most of many freshmen in business school. Below, we describe seven time management and study tips to help MBA students survive for the first time during their first semester at the Business School.
1. Be Ready
"Always ready" is not Boy Scout's motto. As a new person at School B, you need to make sure you are ready before starting the semester. Buy or rent books in advance and read the first chapter before setting foot in your first year. Being aware of at least superficial information will help reinforce them later. Sit in the front row and take detailed notes. When you sit down at the end of the course, it's easy to get distracted and your closeness to the trainers helps you identify them when you need help in the future.
2. To speed up your work
For MBA students, the time needed to increase reading speed before the first semester will be paid later. During your graduation work, you will have to read a lot. The lessons of textbooks, case studies, course notes, and other essential readings will be a big part of your time and effort. The ability to digest and retrieve information is a valuable asset.
3. Do a daily program and do it.
Divide the study into smaller sections. Every day, reading and revision notes are awarded. If you keep the content fresh in your mind, it's easy to remember it later. Do a weekly review to update what you have studied throughout the week. This will reinforce the information, which will facilitate subsequent memorization.
4. Study the "right way"
Believe it or not, there is a good way and there is a bad way to study. A five-hour session, for example, is less effective than five hours of study. Although people's learning styles are different, psychologists have studied the most effective learning techniques. This Washington Post article is included in this research and provides the most effective of these study strategies.
5. Regular discount schedule
Your schedule may be hectic, but you need a block of time once or twice a week to get out of work and school. Depression is a big problem for MBA students, especially in the early years. You will need time to recharge your batteries and replenish your goals. This article from the Harvard Business Review has given some suggestions to avoid frustration and jealousy.
6. Television time
For many, this can be the most difficult sacrifice. But television is a big waste of time and should be limited. In a 2010 interview, John Hennessy, president of Stanford University, said he stopped watching television 10 years ago because it was a "waste of time". While this may be a good way, instead of watching the tube for two hours a day, relax and unwind, reduce the clock time to one hour or less. Your free time is precious. Use it wisely.
7. Use "Dead Time"
Life in a city like Boston means you wait a long time. Wait for T, wait after T, wait for your children or spouse, wait for appointments. Although these small bits of time may seem insignificant, they add. Try to keep your study material handy, perhaps in an electronic document that you can access while traveling so that you can use these spaces in your favor. Although they are not guaranteed to facilitate your B-school experience, these tips will help you reduce at least a bit the stress related to the harshness of your MBA program.

10 Study Tips for Final Exams
Studying for the final exam is extremely painful. These monstrous tests stand between you and your summer vacation, but that does not mean you can slap and sift iced tea from the pool. The time has come to concentrate since these notes reflect the hard work they have done during the school year. We asked the academic experts when they should start their studies, how to know when to wait and what to do on the morning of an exam.
Understand your goals Colin Grünvald, of Kaplan Test Prep, said: "The students meet a number of requirements and it is easy to see that you are jumping in a series of hoops to understand the class and this test are relevant to you." You have to ask yourself why you are going to invest time and energy to pass an exam. Why do you pretend to be a student? Give priority to the most important tests. "It is a mistake to consider that all your finals are the same if you are better in one subject than in another," Grünwald said. "Some students feel that they should spend the same time on each test, and they are moving away from the opportunity they have when they need it." Explain the content and format of your exam. Ted Dorsey, the author of the Instructor's Guide, explains: "Find out what the test will cover." "Ask what the format is: multiple options, tests, or both, once you start studying, ask all the questions you have for your teachers, and most teachers will be happy to help you." The study begins at least a month ago. Gruenwald said: "Everyone knows that doing a small study for a long time is not the right thing to do, and yet we are putting this plan into practice." "The best time to start school is at the beginning of the class, sit down a little each week, organize your notes and think about what is happening and what is happening, three or four weeks before. study plan for you. Discover how you study better. "Everyone learns differently," says Dorsey. "It's not because your friend creates a color-coded table, it's the best way to study, but change the lyrics of a song you know to remind you of African countries." The study is a good education, so do it from the which way suits you best. " Take a break to eat. "When you study, your brain consumes glucose," says Dorsey. "Take a break of five minutes every hour so that your body has more fuel for your study, go to a healthy breakfast (almonds, fruits, and yogurt are a good option) and take a break." The study will improve. Know when to stop learning. "It's time to stop this study within 12 to 24 hours of testing," Grünwald said. "You're not going to learn a lot of new material, the probability is too great to confuse you and confuse you, for the last-minute study, memory cards can be a good resource. You can get something else." the day of the test and it's much healthier than starting a manual page. " Explain the content and format of your exam. Ted Dorsey, author of the Ted Instructor Guide to Sets, says, "Find out what the test will cover." "Ask what the format is: Multiple choices, essays, or both once you start your studies, ask your teachers the questions you ask, and most teachers will be happy to help you." Try to start studies at least a month ago. "Everybody knows that studying a little longer is definitely the right way to study, and yet we are all terrible to bring this plan into practice," said Grünwald. "The best time to start studies is at the beginning of the class, take a little time off every week and organize your notes and think about what's going on well and what's wrong." Three or four weeks ago, it was the last time. You want to create a study plan for yourself, which makes the cluster so poisonous. " Learn how you study better. "Everyone learns differently," says Dorsey. "The fact is that your friend makes a combination with the color code does not mean that it is also the best way to study." Change the lyrics of a song that you know to remember African countries. Write a funny story about the characters. Scarlet Letter Any study is good, so do it the way you like best. " Break the snacks. "When you study, your brain consumes glucose," says Dorsey. "Take a break of five minutes every day for your body to produce more fuel for your study, go for a walk, have a healthy breakfast (almonds, fruits, and yogurt are good choices) for eating and stretching." -you. " Know when to stop learning. "After 12 to 24 hours of testing, it is time to stop the study," says Grünwald. "You are not learning a lot of new stuff, the chances of getting tense and confused are very high." For the last minute researchers, the card can be a good resource, a few more points on the exam day, and a much more healthy thing than starting on the first page of the manual. " You have a good night "Eight hours are ideal for the night before an exam," says Dorsey. "It may be tempting to wake up late, but remember that you will need energy and concentration during the test." ** Activate yourself naturally on the morning of the test. ** Gruenwald says: "Do a provocative job on the morning of the test." "Do not sit down and watch an American Idol marathon continuously, you're just giving up your energy, reading a book, doing crosswords, walking your dog or doing some exercises that will make you feel better, live and positive, and what will increase your level of energy and confidence in the first 24 hours before the test, please stay away from caffeine and energy drink, your hand will write consistent words, will, accident in the middle of the test. SECRETS of SSC - A Real Guide for all SSC Students
Every student has his ambition and his goal and he wants to go forward. All academic excellence begins with a high score on the results of the SSC. Therefore, for some success in the most important educational event, a program called "SSC-SECRETS" was set up for Grade 9 students. The ninth standard covers the entire SSC course and appropriate care is provided to strengthen the foundation of this course. Our experience is reflected in our work and is reflected in its results. Mathematics of Victory: Students are afraid of "methophobia", that is, mathematics. To win math, the first step is to overcome the fear of mathematics. The following guidelines will help students get good grades at the SSC. 1. Learning Table 25: Accelerates calculations and creates efficiency. 2. Learn up to 30 classes and cubes: Multiply the words reduces the waste of time and helps finish the job on time. 3. Daily Practice: Practice is an important element in getting good grades. Start training for 30 minutes early and increase your workout from 3 months to 60 minutes a day. 4. Simplification of geometric figures: add the habit of seeing geometric figures from different angles. "Simplified statistics - simplified geometry" 5. Weekly practice: topics discussed during the days of the week will be reviewed on Sunday. 6. School amendments: The material taught at school is considered an amendment instead of wasting time at school. Main languages (objective 240): The SSC Council estimated 240 frameworks for written languages. A student must study 3 or 4 languages. A huge task to score this way because it is difficult to master all languages.
The following guidelines will benefit students.
1. Reading a manual: Reading a manual makes it easier to understand rather than remember the language. Students gain an intimate knowledge of the correct use of grammar. 2. Vocabulary Development: Students must get used to the compilation of different words, phrases, and proverbs for each language. The difficult words must be with their meaning. In a free lecture, a student can go through a list and develop a large number of words. 3. Writing Practice: The SSC Board wants to check the writing skills of a child. A child needs two important skills to achieve results in this area: A. Pictures An aptitude for writing requires a great power of imagination. It is possible that a child has not visited a hill station or historical monument, but you must imagine these areas and control the point on thick paper. B. Expression The expression requires a good command of the use of language, sentences, and proverbs. To increase your vision and your means of expression, it is recommended to study the books available in bookstores. Increase study hours:
The general observation is that the Jury Exam students study every 8 to 12 hours a day. But this is only possible when a student starts working in class 9. Initially, a student must study for 2 hours in a row and must increase by one hour per month. Until a child arrives at the CSS, he must develop a resistance to study at least 6 hours a day. Finally, in the middle of the year, you can study for 8 to 12 hours a day and prepare yourself for success.
Set your goals. Before a child begins to study for CSS, he must set a goal for the next school year. If a child wants to get 80% or 90% of the board exam scores, the score is a thematic break.

10 Quick Tips for Preparing Successful Exam
There are always many activities that can be done separately or jointly to improve the experience. Here are some guidelines that work as a practical reference.
1. Give yourself enough time to study. Create a study program that fits your study method and leaves nothing for the last minute. While some students seem to thrive in the last-minute study, this partial form of study is not often the best way to prepare for the examination. How many tests do you have, how many pages you should learn, and the days you left off? Then, adjust your study habits accordingly. 2. Ensure that your study space is organized. Quick suggestions for preparing for the exam. Ensure that you have enough room at your desk to spread your textbooks and notes. To ensure that the room is bright enough and your chair is resting adequately, there are points to consider. Pay attention to the details that can distract you and eliminate them from your study place. Make sure you feel comfortable in your study space and you can focus. For some individuals, this can mean full silence, while for other people, it helps to listen to music. Some of us require a complete order to focus, while others prefer to study in more disorganized environments. Ensure that your study location is favorable and God so that you can fully concentrate. 3. Use flow charts and diagrams. Visual aids may be particularly useful when reviewing the study material. At the beginning of a subject, write about everything already about that subject. Close your exam, turn your review notes into a diagram. Thus, visual memory can help a lot in preparing for it while examining. 4. Practice in old examinations. One of the most effective methods for preparing for the exam is to practice with the previous version of the previous examinations. Apart from this, a previous test will help you look at the format and formulation of questions and it would be useful to know what to expect to measure the time required for actual testing. 5. Explain your answer to others. With the help of your family and friends, you can perform excellently in your exam. Explain your reasoning through which you answered a certain question in a certain way. 6. Organize study groups with friends. The study group can help you get the answers you need and complete tasks faster. Just make sure that the group focuses on the subject and is not easily distracted. 7. Take regular breaks. Regular breaks are required to focus your mind on the brain. Studying for a long time is not the best strategy, because long-term retention of knowledge is almost impossible. The most important part of the study is to develop a routine that suits your study style. 8. Taking healthy foods is good for the brain. While studying, you should not eat unhealthy foods. By selecting natural, fresh and vitamin-rich foods, keep your body and mind in shape that is good for you and improves your concentration and memory. 9. Plan your exam day. Check all the rules and requirements for the exam. Plan your route and find extra time in the time it takes to reach your destination. You do not want to delay and deal with more worry. 10. Drink plenty of water. While taking exams and even during an examination, drinking water is advised. Being hydrated is important and enhances your overall positive mood.

● Solar Calendar:
The calendar is a constellation or tropical on an annual basis, depending on the speed of the sun. Some famous examples are the French, Gregorian, Roman and Indian solar calendars used in the regions of Assam, Bengal, Haryana, Kerala, Punjab, Orissa, Tamilnadu, and Tripura. There are not many days in a real solar calendar, so to synchronize, days are summarized and leap years are created. The Indian national calendar belongs to this category.
● Lunar calendar:
it is based on the monthly stages of the moon and its cycle and is not related to the speed of the sun. The Islamic calendar of Hazira is a similar example and a purely lunar calendar. It consists of 12 months, two of which cover the period between two new moons. Each lunar month lasts approximately 29.5 days.
● Lunisolar Calendar:
records the annual speed of the sun and the monthly phases of the Moon. Some examples are the Indian calendars used in the Jewish and Babylonian calendar, as well as in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh.
Adoption and official use.
The Indian calendar was officially adopted by the Calendar Reform Committee in 1957 as an important part of the Natural almanac and the Indian calendar. The Indian Prime Minister, p. Jawaharlal Nehru said he needed an integrated calendar: They (different calendars) represent the last political partition of the country ... Now that we have attained independence, it is obviously desirable that the calendar be uniform for our citizens, social objectives and others, and that this problem must be center of concern. scientist One of the main criteria was to make the calendar free from any religious or regional conflict, navigation, reliability, and accuracy. Therefore, the committee came up with the Saka calendar, which became official on March 22, 1957, or Chaitra 1, 1879.
Meaning
The pending calendar represents Indian beliefs, culture, and traditions. Its adoption as a national calendar is a tribute to innovations and old ideas. Hindus celebrate this calendar beyond Indian borders in Java, Bali, Indonesia, and other countries in Southeast Asia. The most used are: ● With a Gregorian calendar in the Indian Gazette. ● Throughout the radio broadcast of India ● For the government. In India, to provide documents, schedules, and communications via Saka Calendar Dates

Origin of the Indian calendar
The Indian national calendar, also called Sak Shalivahana calendar, is widely used for news transmission purposes with the Gregorian calendar. After a survey conducted by the Committee on Calendar Reform in 1950, it was concluded that about 30 different calendars were used to determine Hindu, Buddhist and Jain festivals.
They discovered that these calendars were based on similar principles prepared according to ancient theories and astronomical practices. On the other hand, the Islamic calendar was used by Muslims in India as well as for administrative purposes. Thus, the reforms of the 1957 calendar C.E. Because of the creation of the Indian national calendar, a formal and structured lunisolar calendar was finalized, with a leap forward in the Gregorian calendar.
Despite numerous attempts to create an integrated platform, many local variants are present. The government always uses the Gregorian calendar for administrative purposes and holidays are celebrated according to regional, ethnic and religious beliefs and traditions.
In terms of ethics, the astrologer uses the almanac (Hindu calendar based on the lunar calendar) to determine the date of the wedding and give a favorable moment after the comparison of the horoscope.

The suspicious calendar is based on the Luni-Solar system and consists of 12 months and 365 days. The first month of the Indian calendar is Chaitra and the last phalgun is. According to the Shaka Calendar, the names of the months are as follows:

The national calendar is an advanced modification of the Indian solar calendar that still exists in the regions. The main unit is the civil day and the era is the era of the era. It is structured so that the tropical or age years are consistent, not the traditional constellation or the Nirayana year.
Religious holidays are based on the lunar calendar which accepts specific positions of the Moon and the Sun. Most holidays and holidays are on a specific lunar date (date), while others are at the sunrise time.
When calculating predictions in Vedic astrology or when comparing Muhurt, festivals, the element of the Moon is considered the main element. The planet in a solar calendar universe tells the apparent position of the sun. An example is a Gregorian calendar, used internationally and considered a standard device. In astrology, the position of the Sun's length in a solar month is likely to occur during the 30-degree interval that traverses the zodiac.
