thank you sm really appreciate it :3
haiii just saw your bwo-deltarune video an i really likwd it thank you so much for sharing it!!!!!!! where would you suggest one should start reading if they wanted to read deleuse and guattari theory about the bwo? should i just read antioedipus? have a good day thx again for the videp ^^
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
If you're interested in the BwO, Anti-Oedipus is your go to book for that (and A Thousand Plateaus of course). It's not the only thing that's discussed of course, it's part of a larger project they have.
I have to warn you though that Anti-Oedipus is difficult, so first and foremost I recommend working alongside some secondary sources. Anti-Oedipus is a REALLY tough text, especially if you haven't really engaged with any philosophy books prior, so unless you wanna smash your head against the wall, listening to other people go through the work is really beneficial to getting a grasp of it. It's one of those books that you don't fully get the first time. I still struggle with a ton of it. It's important to go into it with an open mindset and acceptance that it's gonna be kinda brain-hurty.
One thing I CAN recommend however is reading the fourth section of the book first. The "Introduction to Schizoanalysis" section acts as a pretty good introduction to what they're actually trying to achieve with the book, and is a lot more lucid than the first section. You do lose the initial shock that the first introduction instills in you, but y'know, pros and cons. If you want you can start reading the first section and if it's too crazy, just go to the fourth.
I couldn't link them in the description because youtube was just breaking the links, but these two podcasts have been indespensible in learning about D&G. For Anti-Oedipus, MUHH has a seminar series going through the entire book, and Acid Horizon just has a ton of episodes on D&G. There's also a load more channels that I recommend like:
Jonas Ceika Epoch Philosophy Theory & Philosophy Zer0 Books Buddies without Organs Plastic Pills

[ID: A comic juxtaposing screenshots from Nimona 2023 and drawings of a person watching the movie. The first screenshot is Ambrosius's introduction; he grins at the camera as the news anchors introduce him, his name in big print on the screen. The person watching thinks with a bored expression, "Ah. Ok. This guy is gonna be the jackass. Typical golden-boy stuck-up prince that thinks he's better than the underdog. I see where this is going.
The next screenshot is of Ambrosius and Ballister on the platform above the arena, Ambrosius doing his news anchor bit and saying, "Aaand will Ballister be broody on the biggest day of his life?" Ballister laughs at his antics. The person watching now has a small smile, as they think, "Huh! Aw, they're actually nice to each other and are friends! I wasn't expecting that, that's nice-"
The third and final screenshot is a shot from behind of Ballister leaning his head on Ambrosius's shoulder. The caption reads "the knighting ceremony is just moments away." The person watching now has a touched, soft expression, like they're holding back tears. They think "OH." as a partially transparent doodle behind them bends over crying and blubbering, with another doodle showing their heart shot through with an arrow. /end ID]

“Did you see the way that little girl looked at me? Kids. Little kids. They grow up believing that they can be a hero if they drive a sword into the heart of anything different. And I’m the monster? I don’t know what’s scarier. The fact that everyone in this kingdom wants to run a sword through my heart or that sometimes I just wanna let ‘em.” “We have to get you out of here. Over the wall. We won’t stop until we find some place safe, okay? We’ll go. Together. No matter what we do, we can’t change the way people see us.” “You changed the way you see me... Didn’t you?
