Why Beyond and Misa are best friends (in an alternative universe)
my english is bad, i use a translator (sorry)

They have mental health problems.
They are orphans. The death of their parents has been very traumatic for both of them. That is why it is easy for them to communicate and they understand each other's experiences well.
They are obsessed with people who will never pay attention to them.
They do not tolerate loneliness well. They feel insignificant when they are not noticed. They want to draw attention to themselves.
They don't want to be who they really are and hide behind made-up identities.
They like to do their make-up and change their clothes. B has a large set of cosmetics that he uses a lot (his favourite lipstick is black!). He also often buys clothes at second hand and then quickly throws them away.
They like to wear fashionable and provocative clothes.
Misa is a wonderful actress and model and Beyond is a talented actor and cosplayer. Beyond invents the characters he wants to portray, and Misa helps him do it. He plays both male and female characters equally well.
They love cute little things. Misa collects plush toys and dolls, and Beyond collects anime figurines.
They are attracted by themes of death, mysticism and the occult.
Beyond is struck by the fact that this fragile girl is a serial killer. He is attracted to her. He respects Misa for her courage and strength.
They have shinigami's eyes (obviously).

I decided to reread "Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases" because why not, 2020 it's ending, let's just do it.
Prepare for a whole paper on why L had a crush on Naomi Misora (and it's canon).
And yes, that is BB and not L on the cover, he doesn't seem sleep deprived and made out of sugar, he seems like an aggressive top. Naomi looks perfect as per usual.

Every time he said this when I talk to him through the communicator I just go "No, I don't want to ignore you. Whatever it is you're thinking of, be it profound or trivial, I want to hear it. I want to talk to you."
But I actually don't say that, I just make incoherent noises wondering why he thinks his thoughts are unimportant and just something to ignore.
I want to hold him so bad.

Shark Tank by xzombiexkittenx (71k) (Explicit) - Will and Hannibal meet in prison. Hannibal is still the Ripper, Will is still a profiler who had encephalitis. Only now they're cell mates (SO GOOD and i love love the ending of this one)
Five Times Hannibal Visits Will and One Time He's Already Home (or: Coffee Cake) by bones_2_be (82k) (Explicit) - When Will tells Hannibal to leave at the end of Digestivo, he goes. And then, a few years later, he shows back up. They have long conversations, drink a lot of wine, at the end of it all they find something that works.
In Sickness and in Health by BonesAndScales (76k)(Mature) - Everyone knows that Will and Hannibal are married. Not everyone knows that they are married to each other. (SO CUTE)
Letters to You by Wr4tttttthh (17k)(Explicit) - Will and Hannibal want to learn to love. It isn't easy, it never was. (Post-Fall where they both keep a journal and they write letters to each other. There's some angst but its so so so sweet such a good read)

(this is one of the first hannigram fics i ever read and i still come back to it often it is so good)
Dianthus Barbatus by Cynthia_Cross (84k)(Explicit) - Set 10 years before the start of the show, Will and Hannibal meet in the dead of night while dumping the bodies of their respective victims in the same place. (THIS IS SOME GOOD SHIT HERE)
With a Crown of Stars by romanticallyinept (33k)(Explicit) - When the call connects, Will says, “I know what kind of crazy I am, but I’m not this kind of crazy.” “Will?” Dr. Lecter says. “Yes, hi, sorry,” Will says. “It’s me. There’s a baby on my porch.” (A cute kidfic to end with. I was grinning the whole time)
