I went to a workshop yesterday entitled "Sexual Assault in Our Communities", worst idea ever? The panelists said things like "Some of my friends have sexually assaulted others and I feel sad about it sometimes" and "it's really important not to isolate anyone [rapists] from our communities during the accountability process". I went to cry in the bathroom, but someone locked the door so I couldn't get back in to grab my stuff! Rape apologists owe me a fully charged iPad, is what I'm saying.

This, my friends, is the silky anteater. They almost look more like something out of the Frouds’ studios than a living creature! They’re the world’s smallest anteater, and they can be found from southern Mexico down into a large portion of northern South America. Its fur helps it stay camouflaged, as it resembled the fluff on the seed pods of silk cotton trees.

My dash has been really full of friends talking about doing school with ptsd/disabilities, which I think is awesome, and I really support it! I've been putting off reblogging/saying very much about it, because I was waiting for my thoughts to be more fully formed and eloquent, but that doesn't seem like it will be occurring anytime soon.

But I feel pretty weird. School is weird, traumabrain is weird, normalization of extreme anxiety in the circles I run in that makes me feel like there was nothing wrong with me, I just need to work harder is probably the weirdest.
