SUMMARY: Kihyun is up way best bedtime the night before debut. So Jaehyun has to help her sleep.

The dorm was quiet. We'd all been preparing for debut like we were getting ready for war. I should be sleeping like the rest of everyone but I wasn't. I was in the living room watching TV. Trying to will myself to fall asleep but I couldn't.
With a long sigh, I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle. I popped it open and started to pace. There wasn't anything wrong, so why am I not sleeping?
I made my way back into the living room and dropped back onto the sofa. It stayed quiet for awhile until I heard footsteps. If it was anyone but Jaehyun, I was fucked. I listened closely to the steps and knew it was Daejung. Not good.
I quickly laid down and pretended to sleep, I was good at pretending to sleep. I heard his steps come in and a sigh come from his mouth. "Ah.. This child," he whispered before I heard the TV turn off and a few things moving around.
When he got back to me, he carefully lifted me up, making sure my head was in a good position on his chest before walking down the hall. He opened a door quietly and whispered something, "Jaehyun, move over."
He tried 4 more times before I heard Jae's groan, "Wh-," he started but stopped and I heard the blankets move and Dae laid me down in that spot and I heard him walk away and the door close once again. Jae mumbled something I couldn't make out before he moved the covers over me and his arms pulled me against his body.
His body warmth brought some sort of comfort to me. I pushed myself closer to him and but I still couldn't feel the drowsiness i needed. I tried to sit up for Jaehyun's arms but he wouldn't let go.
"Go to sleep princess, you need it. Big day tomorrow. You don't wanna be tired," Jaehyun spoke lowkey in his sleep filled voice. "Like I didn't know that," I huffed, and rolled over to face him, his eyes were still closed but he kissed my nose.
"Tomorrow, we're officially idol's. Sleep and dream of that," Jaehyun whispered, so I nodded and nuzzled my face into his neck. Tomorrow, everything we've worked for will be for good reason. It'll amount to something. I can prove Kaji wrong, that I'm not a waste to this group.
With determination on my mind, I started drifting away.

SUMMARY: A new trainee group moves into the dorm next to the Black Moonstones dorm. Someone in there is from Chaewon's past.

WARNINGS: There is rape and sexual assault mentioned. Please beware before reading this.
The day had been going normal for Chaewon. She was going about her regular no schedule routine as normal. Wake up at 8 AM sharp, showered, and now she was preparing breakfast before she has to report to practice at 10 AM.
It was a little too quiet to her liking, so Chaewon plugged her phone into the speaker and pressed shuffle, the first song to come on being, "On Top Of The World," by Imagine Dragons. A smile, not a big one, graced her face. A good feeling running through her. She was happy today.
She turned back to the stove and cracked two eggs over it to get the cooking, then leaned over and popped the bread into the toaster. Her cooking was quick and efficient, much like her work ethic. Sausage in one pan was almost ready to go. Music still filled the dorm as she piled her food onto her plate, buttered her toast and poured her coffee.
Chaewon pushed her hair back as she began eating. Casually scrolling through Facebook. Nothing was wrong. Everything was the same as it had been everyday. Nothing every changed in her life. Well maybe work because she keeps moving up and getting better. Everything else about her routine stayed the same.
A text came in, stopping her scrolling. It was from Jaemin,
"You should come in asap, We have got some news."
Her heart sank, it could be bad. Chaewon's mind wouldn't stop wondering and moving at a million miles as she loaded her dirty dishes in the dishwasher. "Fuck," was all she managed to mumble before moving back into her bedroom to grab her book bag but before she got the chance to start loading it up, a knock came at the door.
Swift foot movements into the hallway. It shouldn't be a package as she hadn't ordered anything in a hot minute. More steps into the living room, not any family. Finally, at the door.
She pulled it open with a single tug. A man, a familiar one. "Hello, I wanna make this as quick as possible. Kim Kyunghyun. I'm a trainee next door and my fellow member wanted to let you know that we're available to help out anytime and we hope the best of health for you." That's where she knew him. Chaewon stood in horror looking at the man in front of her. How did he not recognize her? She felt the panic begin to set into her bones.
The man was confused for a moment before he took a good look at her. Sudden realization crossed his face, then a smirk. "Oh, would you look at that. Kim Chaewon," he spoke, her body cringing when he said her name. This man had been her "boyfriend" when she was 15 and still in the closet, and he assaulted her for his own perverse satisfaction. "What the hell," she was finally able to speak.
He checked her out, head to toe, her feeling slimy just under his gaze. "You've gotten to be even hotter than you were when we were in high school. I need to finish unpacking but I'll be seeing you around," was what he left it with as he walked away. Her eye stayed on him as he went into his dorm, only a door away from hers.
With a quick motion, she flung herself back into the safety of the dorm. How could he move in next door to her? Why was he still so disgusting? Many questions filled her head but she had a job to do. Quickly, she sprinted back into her room and packed her bag, slinging it over her shoulders when she was ready.
She had to get out as fast as she could, so she swiped up her keys and her phone, then left, triple checking that the door was locked. Practice would keep her safe, she'd be okay. Nothing could hurt her, beside what could but the others wouldn't let anyone hurt her. Chaewon quickly ran down the steps of the building and when she finally got to the door, took very deep breaths. She could hear all the different music blasting, but she could point out her song for anywhere. She was okay.
She hadn't felt this type of panic and fear in a long time. She was 15 when he raped her. She's 28 now and he still scares the hell out of her. She can remember everything so vividly. She had worked so hard to repress the memories, and it had worked for the longest time. She was okay but she doesn't know how she's going to live now. She lives with that guy next door now. She more than capable of defending herself but she felt so weak.
Her head hung low as she put her hand on the door knob. It would be okay. She was protected by all of her members. She's not only worried about herself but her fears were on her baby, Akane. The girl liked to wonder, at night the most. She couldn't be secure knowing she could be the next victim.

Sitting in the practice room, was my entire group. All of us exhausted from practicing for our debute.
Akane laying on the floor next to Jaemin, her feet on Jaehyun's lap. Kaji was by the speaker adjusting the music while Daejung was helping her out. Chaewon was leaning against the mirror on her phone, probably texting that one trainee, who I forgot the name of.
It was just a normal day in the practice room and it was honestly, very blissful. I took a deep breath and laid back, stretching my body along the floor.
"Alright, c'mon kiddos," Jaemin announced, while sitting up from his spot. Everyone's attention turned to him as silence sounded as we waited for his word. "We have to get back to practicing, we're in a time crunch."
Nods and okays sounded threw the room. Though I could tell everyone was tired but we understand that this is an important time.
Everyone stood in their respective place as Kaji started the music and rushed to get into her place.
The dance was going smoothly until Akane kinda tripped over her ankle but she didn't stop. She was wobbling and I could tell that Kaji was getting irritated by her cause they were side by side.
As the song was coming to an end, Akane completely fell over due to Jaehyun messing up his part. "Are you fucking serious? Akane, can you not use your feet?" Kaji freaked shit on Akane, even though that wasn't her fault.
Akane tried to explain herself but Kaji cut her off, " I don't wanna fucking hear your excuses. We've done it so many times! You shouldn't be fucking it up now," Kaji went off, "If you're gonna continue like this, you might as well leave the group. You're just gonna hold us back anyway."
The members, except Akane and Kaji, were in a complete stunned silence. Jaemin's face went from stunned to pissed in a couple seconds, "MIN KAJI! What the hell is your problem!?"
Akane flinched hearing Jaemin yell causing Jaehyun and Chaewon to kneel beside her and try to comfort her. "She shouldn't be fucking up. We're too close to debut for her to be fucking up a dance that we've been practicing for 8 months," Kaji ended up shooting back at Jaemin, venom dripping off her voice.
Daejung rolled his eyes at her, "Kaji, I mean this in the nicest way possible, take your head out of your ass and realize that we've all been doing this all day and are tired." I've never heard Dae speak up like that and it was kinda unsettling as he's the most calm of us all.
"Besides, I messed up my part cause her to fall over. So it's not even her fault," Jaehyun hissed at her, not liking how his girlfriend was being treated. "I don't care, what I said still stands. We would be better off without her," Kaji crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.
Jaemin growling a little and his face twisted up into a look of anger, "You are one insult away from starting a war. I suggest that you fucking watch it."
Chaewon huffed, "Maybe we're better off without YOU. Everyone else is working together and YOU'RE throwing a bitchfit. She could've HURT herself and you're not even worried about it."
The tension was high in the room and before I could add anything Akane spoke up from the floor, "Let's just do the dance again. I promise I won't mess up this time." She wouldn't look up, her eyes were watery and her voice trembled. We all agreed just to make her feel better but I would be having a word with Kaji later. That was unacceptable.
