I probably would have fallen out of the fandom several months ago without MB and the wonderful unhinged band of misfits she introduced me to. She’s the reason I got into commissioning art, the reason I became so absolutely insane about elucien, and the reason I’ve met so many wonderful friends 😭

Welcome back to Elucien Creator Highlights!! We want to take a moment to recognize the amazing individuals in our fandom who kindly use up so much of their freetime and creative energy to share their work with us!
It was only a matter of time before we turned a spotlight @separatist-apologist. She is such an integral part of this community, as both a prominent creator, a friend to many, and an organizer of countless fandom events!

Separatist-Apologist has written 52 Elucien fics which altogether comprise almost 2 million words! That's a lot of Elucien content, but we've picked out a few of our favorites to get you started!

Helion has more up his sleeve than just a little matchmaking, and his actions have far reaching consequences for everyone in Pyrthian.
Right Where You Left Me - Six years after leaving his hometown for good, Lucien Vanserra returns to bury his father. Upon arrival, he realizes he left more behind than just bad memories.
Wonderland - In a kingdom where a Maiden is forced to be sacrificed to appease the monster in the woods, Elain Archeron is chosen out of spite by her spurned suitor, Graysen. Trapped in a tower with her beast, Elain must unravel if she can truly trust the monster promising not to hurt. She doesn't know he's freed every maiden he's ever been sent...but her? In Silver Flames Cassian thinks Nesta was "a wolf who had never learned how to be a wolf, thanks to that cage humans called propriety and society. And like any maltreated animal, she bit anyone who came near", and I loved seeing Nesta finally getting out of that cage and becoming her true self in this book.

This was, in fact, the first illustration that I commissioned with Pablo and when I saw how it turned out, I was unable to correctly order the words because of how impacted I was by the beauty of the illustration.

I've been missing sharing artwork of my fave sunshine due, Elain and Lucien. So thought I'd share something today to brighten up the start of the week. 💛
I know everyone is desperate for information or any new clues that may give us insight to the future of ACOTAR but those of us who've been around a long while remember SJMs Pinterest board, before she ultimately deleted it in 2021. But many screenshots exist on Tumblr.
One of those pins is the original artwork you will see that I included that this commission was inspired by, which is so clearly Elain and Lucien, so not only has she talked about them and why she mated them, but she had pins saved that looked like them.
I can't wait to read their story. I think it's going to be one of SJMs most epic, because the tension and angst she spoke about sets up for great story telling.
Thank you @/leofoxart for this amazing artwork inspired by the original. I always wanted to do a colored version, I love the addition of the stockings and her hand cupping his face. 💛
